The Democrat Party hacks at the Washington Post were among the many establishmentarians who lied to us by claiming the suspicion Covid had been created in a ChiCom laboratory had been debunked. At least they are now admitting that they lied. They admit it by lying some more. Now they are lying by retroactively rewriting stories to erase what really has been debunked, namely their earlier lies:

Back before the past had been altered, WaPo said that tracing Covid to the Wuhan Institute of Virology was a conspiracy theory that had been debunked. But now that circumstantial evidence supporting the lab leak theory has become overwhelming, WaPo never said that.

Not the Bee reports:

While WaPo noted a “correction,” it didn’t timestamp it and was intentionally vague about why they had dragged Sen. Tom Cotton’s name through the mud.

Those looking back might have no idea how large a role the leftists running the media played in helping their ChiCom allies suppress information on Covid, potentially costing many lives.

The move by The Washington Post is one of many corrections media outlets have made to stories from early in the pandemic that declared the COVID-19 lab leak theory to be a conspiracy theory.

Politifact also recently retracted a “pants on fire” fact check from September 2020 that called a Hong Kong virologist’s claim that COVID-19 was a lab-created virus a “debunked conspiracy theory.”

Democracy isn’t the only thing that dies in darkness. So does credibility. The liberal establishment media serves to reinforce the deluded notions of moonbats and to manipulate fools. It does not serve to inform.
