Where the Money Blown on Homelessness in California Goes

As of last May, the California State Association of Counties found that the state had blown $29.5 billion on homelessness in fiscal years 2019/2020–2024/2025. What’s worse, California spends federal money on homelessness by the $billions. For example, in the 2021–2022 budget, $4.9 billion from the American Rescue Plan went to homelessness.

Meanwhile, homelessness in the erstwhile Golden State continues to skyrocket.

Where does the money go? US Attorney General Bill Essayli provides examples:

$2.2 Million can go a long way toward paying off luxury purchases on a credit card, even among fat cats who can afford a seat at the table in Gavin Newsom’s California.

Not since the global warming hoax have liberals come up with a better way to launder taxpayer money to facilitate graft. No wonder they embrace policies that encourage homelessness.
