A Threat Worse Than the Taliban
Now that it can again host an al Qaeda launching pad like it did for 9/11, and has a massive armamentarium of military equipment provided by the Biden Administration that it might use to destabilize nuclear-armed Pakistan, the Taliban is a serious threat to America. But we face a still more dire threat — namely, an incompetent and arguably treasonous president who is alienating us from our allies, as a British war hero observes:
“6,500 people died, including 3,000 deaths at Twin Towers, and we didn’t achieve a single thing,” said retired Special Operations Staff Sgt. Trevor Coult, who has been feted by both the queen and President George W. Bush.
We are worse off than we started. In addition to $billions in military equipment and an ongoing infusion of cash courtesy of American taxpayers, the Taliban has a major victory to boost its standing. Thanks to allowing the Taliban not only to take over the country but to humiliate the West in a rout, radical Islam has new wind in its sails.
“He destroyed 20 years’ work in less than 24 hours.”
The lives and hundreds of $billions lost are now for nothing.
To put it mildly, Coult is made of better stuff than Joe Biden:
Coult served for 21 years in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, where he was involved in 178 enemy engagements and survived three bomb blasts. The queen awarded him one of the United Kingdom’s highest honors, the military cross, for saving allied lives during an ambush.
Like former Marine Lt Col Stuart Scheller, Coult has the guts to speak frankly where others may hesitate:
“Biden is the most incompetent president in the history of the United States,” Coult told the Washington Examiner. “He has befriended terrorists. The White House is not a friend to the West.”
He reports that British generals and Special Ops officers unsurprisingly share his point of view.
“We believe Biden is more of a threat to the West than the Taliban ever was. Without a shadow of a doubt. He betrayed us,” Coult said.
Tony Blair thinks the rest of NATO may have to go it alone. This is confirmed by Biden refusing to return calls from Boris Johnson during the crisis he created in Afghanistan not only for the USA but also for our allies. As do patriotic Americans, Britain’s Parliament held Biden in contempt.
The USA is too busy dealing with an existential threat from within to help hold back the darkness. Unless we can pry Democrats from power soon, Pax Americana is over. The rest of the world will have to make other arrangements.
Yet allies like Taiwan are going to need us. Worse yet, from the American point of view, we may need them.
“Why would you help someone who would turn your back on us?” Coult said. “He has nailed that door closed.”
The USA cannot redeem itself for the disgrace that is Joe Biden without decisively driving Democrats from power.

[…] Trevor Coult is correct. Even as it staffs the Afghan government with FBI-designated terrorists like Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Taliban represent a minor threat compared to America’s existential threat from within. […]
