Ashli Babbitt’s Killer Michael Byrd Praises Himself
If you imagine that we still have equality under the law in this country even under Democrat rule, compare the cases of Derek Chauvin and Michael Byrd.
For political reasons, Derek Chauvin was accused of murdering an oversized maniac of color who died of a fentanyl overdose while resisting arrest. Chauvin was found guilty of being a white male police officer and sentenced to 22.5 years after a ludicrous show trial.
Michael Byrd shot an unarmed woman because she was trespassing in the People’s House. He was cleared of all wrongdoing because his victim Ashli Babbitt was a deplorable. In stark contrast to every other law enforcement officer accused of murder, his identity was protected by sympathetic authorities. Now Byrd has come forward, to praise himself and bask in the liberal media’s sympathy.
Byrd sat down for powder puff interview with Lester Holt of NBC:
“I know that day I saved countless lives,” Byrd said in the interview. “I know members of Congress, as well as my fellow officers and staff, were in jeopardy and in serious danger.”
This is because he had no way of knowing that the 5’2″ Ashli Babbitt did not have martial arts skills that might have transformed her empty hands into weapons of war.
Obscenely, the cowardly killer praised his own courage. Actual quote, said with a straight face:
“I believe I showed the utmost courage on January 6th.”
Holt asks us to weep that like virtually all public figures, Byrd has been the target of threats. He unsurprisingly prompts Byrd to complain about “racist things,” and all but hands him a tissue to wipe away tears while referencing the supposedly mean things Trump had to say about the unnecessary killing.

This is the same Michael Byrd who made the news in 2019 by leaving his loaded Glock in a Capitol men’s room. If not for the prevailing Affirmative Action mentality, that incident would have resulted in Byrd’s demotion to mop patrol. Air Force vet Ashli Babbitt would still be alive.
When asked about the gun in the restroom incident, Byrd proclaimed that he has put it behind him and “moved on.” Ashli Babbitt will not be moving on.
No doubt it has been said countless times, but it bears repeating. Imagine if a white officer had shot an unarmed left-wing black woman during one of the countless, vastly more destructive Black Lives Matter riots (or as the media calls them, “mostly peaceful protests”). The authorities would bring back death by impalement. Yet we are supposed to pretend that the systemic racism is not against whites.
