Under Democrat control, gas prices unsurprisingly remain in the stratosphere. But look at the bright side; Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg believes that this benefits rich liberals who can afford to virtue signal by driving electric moonbatmobiles.

Arrogance like this brought on the French Revolution:

As Marie Antoinette would say, “Let them drive pricey Teslas. They are subsidized, aren’t they?”

Buttigieg, who is conspicuously lazy and useless and owes his position entirely to being deafeningly homosexual, showcases liberal chic. His security detail travels by sporty Mach-E:

Our rulers pinch our dollars, so they don’t have to pinch pennies.

According to liberal ideology, driving coal-powered electric cars will save the weather from harmless fossil fuels. Buttigieg drones that the overpriced toys, which are prone to burst into flames, will save “lives and property” and that “we’re running out of time.”

The sentient are skeptical:

Even as the globe grapples with massive heat waves, cold temperatures kill far more people than the heat does.

Considering that they are actually worse for the environment than real cars, the motive behind forcing us into electric car remains a mystery. Conceivably, it has something to do with the Big Guy’s lucrative relationship with the communist Chinese:

Absent from the White House announcement, however, was a serious effort to ramp up mining operations to produce the batteries over which Beijing currently wields a monopoly.

If the Liberal World Order ever evokes the response it has been asking for, and people start setting up guillotines, don’t drive past one in an expensive even if subsidized EV. These foolish vehicles symbolize a corrupt, degenerate ruling class that is at war with the American population.
