Democrat Policies Produce Typhus in California

California spends $billions per year on homelessness. For the money, taxpayers have received more homelessness — and consequently, more rats, more fleas, and more typhus.

Via Nevada News & Views:

Los Angeles County just reported a record 220 cases of flea-borne typhus in 2025, up from just 187 the year before.

About 90% of those people ended up in the hospital, according to the county’s latest public health data released in April.

Typhus is a disease associated with the Middle Ages. It is spread by fleas that live on rats. Rats are flourishing in California due to the homeless encampments that proliferate under Democrat rule. Restrictions on landfills that result in garbage piling up and on rat poison in the name of protecting wildlife have also contributed.
