Gay Bar Bans Maga Hats
“All we ask for is tolerance,” they bleat. Where they have control, tolerance goes out the window:
A popular LGBTQ nightclub in Sacramento, California, is prohibiting patrons who wear MAGA-related attire from entering the establishment.
Badlands, in the city’s Lavender Heights district, announced the policy on social media … after a patron wore a MAGA hat while in the bar, leading some patrons to complain that they were made to feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
Imagine how uncomfortable and unsafe the gutsy guy in the MAGA hat felt.
Owner TJ Bruce proclaims the bar is “committed to creating a space where the LGBTQ+ community and our allies feel safe, welcomed, and respected.” In contrast, those who support our recently elected president do not deserve to feel safe, welcomed, and respected — even if they are Log Cabin Republicans like Steven Bourasa, who apparently inspired the ban with his MAGA hat.
Bruce righteously references inclusivity:
“We appreciate everyone’s understanding and respect as we continue to maintain the environment that makes Badlands a place for all to enjoy.”
Somehow, moonbats manage not to choke on their hypocrisy.
The overwhelming majority of comments on the nightclub’s Instagram page expressed support for the decision.
Of course they did. A superfluous ban on viewpoint deviation reflects the mentality of the community.
