Likewise, getting the double Pfizer vax that we were told would set us free now falls short. We are told we may need a third shot. You can guess what comes next: the fourth shot.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in updated guidelines Tuesday that some immunocompromised people who have received either Pfizer or Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines will be able to get a fourth shot.

You can also guess what comes after “will be able to” — namely, “will be required to.”
