Lowering Expectations in USA and North Korea

Similar ideologies produce similar results. Consequently, people have to make do with less in both North Korea and the USA under leftist rule. The likeminded regimes have the same message for those under their control: lower your expectations.

Serving as usual as a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party, the Washington Post spelled it out for Americans:

As Mark Meadows observes, lowering expectations is the theme of Joe Biden’s America.

In North Korea, expectations have been low for decades. But things never get so bad under socialism that they won’t get worse still if the socialists are not removed from power. So Kim Jong Un is following the lead of our state media:

North Korea is telling its hungry citizens to be prepared to eat less for a few years. …

North Korea is led by Kim Jong Un, who has been looking slimmer in recent months. The country has blamed the pandemic, natural disasters, and U.S. and U.N. sanctions for its inability to provide for its people, according to a Voluntary National Review submitted to the United Nations.

If even its porky dictator is losing weight, communism is an economic failure in North Korea — just like everywhere else it has been tried. But that’s no reason not to plunge deeper into Marxism in the USA, after Democrats have collapsed the economy through massive wasteful spending. Marxism is about power; it is not about putting food in people’s mouths.

On a tip from Chuck A.
