Now Acronyms Are a Tool of White Supremacy

It is hard to deny the conspiracy of white supremacy when the tools used to implement it can be found wherever militant wokesters look for them. They have even discovered that acronyms are racist — not any particular acronym, but acronyms in general:

First the San Francisco School Board decided to rename 44 schools because they are named after people with ties to racism or slavery.

Those erased in this purge include some of the greatest figures in American history, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and even Abraham Lincoln. Left-wing Senator and former San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein was also erased, for once having failed to show sufficient intolerance toward all things Southern.

Now the Arts Department has taken a bold move by changing its name, “VAPA” because they say, “acronyms are a symptom of white supremacy culture.”

This must be because everything in existence is a symptom of white supremacy culture. Since it would be racist not to agree that all of reality centers on the imaginary oppression of favored identity groups, frozen rocks floating through the far reaches of outer space are a symptom of white supremacy culture.

VAPA is short for Visual and Performing Arts. Thanks to the thin ChiCom virus pretext, teachers still won’t show up in classrooms in San Francisco, but educrats are nonetheless busily at work on their social engineering projects.

Barks Sam Bass, the director of the department,

“We are prioritizing antiracist arts instruction in our work.”

Somehow I doubt that timeless masterpieces will result from this emphasis.

Bass announced the name change as part of the antiracism push.

From now on, they’ll simply be called SFUSD Arts Department.

You can say VAPA in two syllables. SFUSD Arts Department takes nine syllables. Every time they refer to the department, they have to wade through seven extraneous syllables in order to demonstrate their obeisance to political correctness. This is the same reason shakedown artist Jesse Jackson decreed that we must say “African American” instead of the more precise and not the least offensive “Negro.”

Apparently unbeknownst to Bass, SFUSD is also an acronym. He could more effectively combat racism by making everyone say, “San Francisco Unified School District Arts Department.” Fourteen syllables might be enough to wipe away the stain of white supremacy.

Bass explains why acronyms are racist:

“The use of so many acronyms within the educational field often tends to alienate those who may not speak English to understand the acronym.”

It follows that the English language is racist. Educrats may ban that next.
