Scotland Bans Spanking

If you would like to see more kids grow up like this

…then you will be pleased by Scotland’s latest lurch ever deeper into moonbattery:

Scotland has become the first part of the UK to ban the smacking of children after new legislation came into effect.

Moonbats are understandably ecstatic.

Liberal Democrat [Member of the Scottish Parliament] Alex Cole-Hamilton said he was “delighted” about the change to the law.

Cole-Hamilton says experts agree that children should never be spanked.

“It is backed by countless studies and experts from the children’s commissioner to police officers, social workers, nurses, and children’s and parenting charities.”

However, some still lag behind in the dark old days when children were taught to behave.

[The] campaign group Be Reasonable Scotland, which opposed the legislation, warned that “even the mildest physical discipline will be treated as abuse” and could lead to parents being prosecuted.

Scotland also allows bratty children to get their parents prosecuted for committing thought crimes at the dinner table.
