If Saule Omarova is not confirmed as Comptroller of the Currency, it will be only because she keeps saying the quiet part out loud. This undermines progressives’ incrementalist frog-boiling strategy. Recently, she stated outright that she wants to bankrupt energy companies in the name of the global warming hoax.

Saule Omarova, a Cornell University law professor, has raised eyebrows for comments she has made, which include saying the banking industry is the “quintessential a—— industry,” as well as calling for an end to banking “as we know it” by “the complete migration of demand deposit accounts to the Federal Reserve.”

Even as this information comes to light, the Biden Regime is doubling down. A statement this week proclaimed that “The White House continues to strongly support her historic nomination.”

It’s historic, all right — not because she checks identity politics boxes, but because Democrats may soon install an actual Soviet communist trained at Moscow State University to help destroy our country from within.
