Because leftists’ cultural transformation of America is retroactive, nothing is safe from it — not even the cartoons we grew up with. Velma from Scooby-Doo has been brought into compliance with current political correctness by becoming a lesbian.

As early as 2001, our entertainment overlords were attempting to corrupt the cartoon by recasting Velma as a sexual deviant, according to James Gunn, writer of the early live-action films.

In 2020, Gunn tweeted that he “tried” to make Velma a lesbian in the live-action movies. “In 2001 Velma was explicitly gay in my initial script,” he wrote. “But the studio just kept watering it down & watering it down…”

Nothing is watered down anymore when it comes to promoting the LGBT agenda.
