California Exodus Picks Up Steam

Ben Shapiro — out of there. Joe Rogan — out of there. Charles Schwab — out of there. Nerdronic — out of there:

If moonbats can make the promised land of California unlivable, they can do it everywhere. What if the exodus only serves to spread the disease that is killing the Golden State?

The Babylon Bee has a solution:

To the relief of Texans across the state, Governor Greg Abbott has signed a law prohibiting escaping Californians from voting after they move to Texas. Experts say this will prevent the happy and prosperous slice of heaven from sliding into the endless despair and crushing poverty of leftist policy. …

According to sources, emergency legislation was drafted after it was discovered that 97% of Californians favor destroying every small business on the planet and salting the earth where the businesses once stood. They also favor mandatory gay marriage and banning all country music to avoid hurting the ears of sea turtles.

No wonder California’s Facebook wants to deplatform the Babylon Bee:

On Tuesday, Facebook stood by its decision to demonetize the Christian satire site The Babylon Bee over a satire article regurgitating a witch joke from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Facebook claimed that the article “Senator Hirono Demands ACB Be Weighed Against A Duck To See If She Is A Witch” actually “incites violence.” The social media platform demanded that the Babylon Bee edit the article and not speak publicly about the review, but Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon went public.

Those who leave California so that they can run a business without excessive taxation and suffocating regulation ought to know enough never to vote Democrat again. But successful businesses hire people. People leave where the jobs aren’t (places run by Democrats) and go where the jobs are (places not run by Democrats). Tragically, they often bring their politics with them.

Leaving for other states may become pointless if Democrats prevail and sabotage the system so as to impose long-term California-style single party rule on a nationwide basis. As in California, when the situation gets bad enough, those who can afford to will leave. The rest will be stuck in a deteriorating hellhole.
