As for Biden himself, he says the skyrocketing prices “should motivate us to make the transition to clean energy” — as if it were even remotely feasible that overpriced electric moonbatmobiles powered by eagle-slicing wind turbines could meet the country’s transportation needs.

Never let a crisis go to waste, advise the Democrats who cause nearly all of our crises. Biden croaks that this is an opportunity to force us into electric cars:

Despite lavish government subsidies, the average EV costs $19,000 more than a normal car. Also, insurance is up to 64% higher, due to the extravagant cost of repairs. Electric cars are not much good in cold weather. Chevrolet has warned customers to park them at least 50 feet from the nearest vehicle, due to their tendency to burst into flames. Plus, the electricity has to come from somewhere. So do the lithium batteries.

The liberal media confirms that Americans are fine with stratospheric gas prices that pull up the price of everything else, so long as they are blamed on Putin. Barks CNN’s Kate Bolduan:

“People we’ve spoken to over the last couple weeks, they’re okay with paying higher prices if it means holding Russia accountable for what they are doing in Ukraine.”

If only we could hold Biden accountable for raving about electric cars instead of letting us drill our own oil.
