In a culture that has traded morality for political correctness and property rights for entitlements, where politicians are thieves elected to represent fellow thieves and district attorneys like Alvin Bragg of New York and Chesa Boudin of San Francisco openly side with criminals, people will steal whatever they can lay their hands on.
