Liberal White Women Block Black Nightclub

No one is safe from liberal white women — not even the blacks they piously worship.

The Daily Mail reports:

A black Kansas City businessman has been forced to scrap his plans to open a new nightclub after a local football fan club comprised mainly of liberal white women complained that the name was ‘racist.’

By “football,” they mean “soccer.”

Casio McCombs said this week he was ‘deeply disappointed’ that his plans to open a club named Sundown HiFi were halted due to outcry from KC Blue Crew, a supporters club for women’s soccer team KC Current.

Here’s why the word “sundown” has been struck from the Newspeak Dictionary and is no longer permissible, despite McCombs regarding it as essential to the project:

The ‘sundown’ name was deemed by the group to be a reference to a ‘sundown town’, a 19th Century term for all-white communities that would practice racial segregation and terrorize any black people unfortunate enough to find themselves on its streets after dark.

Liberals live in an alternative world based on a sinister version of the century before last.

The nightclub was set to be opened on a development site named Current Landing located next to the CPKC Stadium, leading the women’s group to issue a statement arguing the ‘sundown’ name would tarnish the sports area. …

In the KC Blue Crew statement calling for the development of the nightclub not to go forward, the group did not note that the SunDown HiFi club was being led by a black businessman.

Of course not. That would draw attention to how absurd they are.

Race-Based Waste Resumes in San Francisco

No wonder identity groups vie so aggressively for cherished “marginalized” status. City Journal reports on a program intended to bestow benefits upon supposedly oppressed blacks in San Francisco:

Known as the Dream Keeper Initiative, the relaunched program will grant $36 million to “community-serving organizations,” including some that have offered “Afri-centric” mental-health services, African ancestry DNA testing, and free doulas for “African American birthing people.”

“Birthing people” is Liberalese for women who really are women.

The reason we pay taxes is so the government can provide crucial services in return, such as police protection. Where liberals have consolidated power, these services are neglected in favor of more selectively beneficial priorities:

The Dream Keeper Initiative was founded by former San Francisco Mayor London Breed in 2021, fulfilling her promise to redirect police funding to “the African American community” in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death. In February 2021, Breed announced that the city would divert $120 million from its law-enforcement budgets to fund the program, which would in turn funnel money to a web of left-wing nonprofits.

The idea is for whites to pay more into the government than they get in return, so that blacks can get more than they pay for. Those who do not enjoy being effectively enslaved through taxation on the basis of their race are denounced by liberals as “racists.”

Dream Keeper funded a down-payment-assistance program that made “homeownership dreams real for a growing number of Black people in San Francisco”; a $2.2 million grant to “Black trans-serving organizations” that promised to “improve outcomes for Black transgender people”; and a program that recruited black educators to teach the city’s black students.

Unsurprisingly, the program has been characterized by corruption. Lurie called Breed on this while campaigning against her in 2024. Yet now he has relaunched the program.

As part of the Dream Keeper Initiative, the Homeless Children’s Network has secured lavish funding…

…which will support “Afri-centric, trauma-informed community health and wellness services.” HNC also operates the Ma’at Program, a form of “Afri-centric” therapy named after the “ancient Egyptian concepts of truth, balance, order, harmony, and justice.” This program, also funded by the original Dream Keeper Initiative, employed black therapists to treat black patients purportedly suffering from “trauma brought about by racism and homophobia.”

More extravagantly favored even than blacks are blacks who identify as LGBT:

The Lurie administration also earmarked $450,000 for “The Transgender District Company” to provide “safe-space programming,” “legal name and gender marker clinics,” and an annual “wellness fair connecting participants to affirming care.” The organization, founded by three black trans-identifying women, also hosts an annual “Riot” party to celebrate the “Compton’s Cafeteria Riots” of 1966, during which “transgender and queer” activists clashed with police in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. Last year’s “Reparations is a Riot!” party featured a lineup of all-black drag queens and listed the City and County of San Francisco and the Mayor’s Office of Housing & Community Development as sponsors.

In no sane world would taxpayers be forced to fund this sick lunacy. Yet if liberals prevail, San Francisco will serve as the template for the rest of the country. The two top candidates for the Democrat presidential nomination are former SF Mayor Gavin Newsom and former SF District Attorney (and before that Mayor Willie Brown concubine) Kamala Harris.

Microaggression Inflicted Upon Mamdani Stylist

Not even being Zohran Mamdani’s stylist can protect the oppressed from oppression. The California Post reports:

Lefty former Vogue editor and Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson downgraded her first-class seat — which was surrounded by “white middle-aged men” on a trip to Milan — because of “micro-aggressions” she faced from a male flight attendant.

The nature of the microaggression was not disclosed, but it forced her to…

…“sacrifice physical comfort” by moving to still-spacious business class “to protect my emotional and mental well-being.”

Karefa-Johnson is not just any oppressed black woman with a hyphenated name but a moonbat of historical significance:

Karefa-Johnson, who in 2021 became the first black woman to style a Vogue cover, left the magazine in 2023 after unleashing a rant days after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks on Israel — in which she likened the Jewish state to an “apartheid state” committing “genocide.”

Apparently it is possible to be too obnoxious a leftist even for Vogue. But she doesn’t have to worry about falling out with Mamdani.

She fumed about her departure from the magazine last year, saying, “Working in a place where this kind of vitriolic white supremacy goes unchecked is untenable.”

The Brooklyn-based celebrity stylist dressed New York City’s new socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani and his wife Rama Duwaji for inauguration day in January.

Don’t be surprised if she goes on to become Mamdani’s Senior Advisor on Race Relations.

Nutty Professor Joins Hate Hoax List

Professor Onwubiko Agozino is unlikely to have produced any useful scholarship, but at least he has managed to join the Hate Hoax List.

Agozino is a professor of sociology at [Virginia Tech University] and describes himself as a “scholar-activist who values inclusive excellence and diversity with critical attention focused on people of African descent and other marginalized groups around the world” who “emphasizes race, class, and gender issues in his contributions to learning, discovery, and community engagement beyond the boundaries of the classroom.”

As an example of his community engagement beyond the boundaries of the classroom,

He filed the complaint with police on Feb. 10, after an incident where a group of White men blaring rap music with profane lyrics from their truck stopped on the street in front of his house and shoveled snow and ice out of the truck’s bed.

So as to promote the narrative that has served Agozino well, this was proclaimed to be a hate crime.

The story was amplified by New River Valley Indivisible, part of the national far-left nonprofit Indivisible, which promotes progressivism and has recently organized nationwide protests against President Donald Trump.

NRVI demanded the snow shovelers be prosecuted at both the state and federal levels.

The police in Christiansburg, Virginia were forced to waste time investigating the supposed racial incident rather than actual crimes. Their findings:

“After several interviews, including a third-party eyewitness, and a detailed investigation, detectives found that a group of juveniles were attending an organized function at a home in the area,” the town explained. “Before departure, two juveniles attempted to clear frozen snow and ice out of the bed of a truck, but were unable to completely remove, due to the slope of the vehicle. Upon departure, the juveniles stopped at a flat spot on the street, where a juvenile pushed out the remaining frozen snow and ice.”

Incredible as it might seem to believers in Critical Race Theory, not everything that ever happens is about the oppression of put-upon people of preferred pigmentation. Actually, hardly anything is.

Agozino responded that the kids should be punished anyway even if there was no criminal intent.

He also said police increased patrols near his home to “prevent a repeat or escalation.”

This would mean more resources wasted pandering to a jerk and his pernicious ideology.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott Employs Race Card to Ward Off Scrutiny

Question: Why did Brandon Scott, the unsavory-looking Democrat Mayor of Baltimore, waste $163,000 of taxpayer money on an SUV?

Answer: Racist!

Scott accused a local reporter of racism Friday when she questioned why his SUV cost over $163,000.

The 2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was the most expensive executive vehicle used by a Maryland public official, Baltimore-area television station WBFF reported, coming in at twice the cost of the vehicle used by Democratic Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland. Investigative reporter Tessa Bentulan, who works for WBFF as part of a venture called Spotlight on Maryland, questioned Scott about the vehicle’s cost.

Let’s hope WBFF doesn’t get in trouble for doing actual journalism instead of the Democrat butt-nuzzling we have become accustomed to from the media:

Former Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby asked the Federal Communications Commission to investigate WBFF’s license in 2021 after it ran critical reports on her.

Mosby was installed in office by George Soros. She advanced his malicious agenda by effectively legalizing low-level crime. She was later convicted of perjury and mortgage fraud, though an appeals court bailed her out on the latter.

Mosby should have made more use of the race card; she might have escaped her wrist slap sentence. Watch Scott demonstrate how public officials of politically preferred pigmentation can utilize it to deflect scrutiny over misconduct:
