The rest of the news is smoke and mirrors to keep us distracted. The only political issue that matters right now is HR1/SB1, a.k.a. the Orwellian “For the People Act,” which shockingly has already passed in the House. This radical legislation would put the Democrat Party in charge of elections at the federal level, facilitating widescale voter fraud and ensuring indefinite single-party rule of the type that has so many people leaving Chicago and California.

The propaganda wing of the Democratic Party — i.e., the liberal establishment media — quacks dishonestly about voter suppression. As Ted Cruz accurately observes in the video below, it is the Democrats who are trying to suppress the votes of law-abiding citizens by diluting them with illegitimate votes.

Cruz notes that when Republicans held the White House and both houses of Congress, they made no attempt to rig the system to remain in power. But today’s radicalized Democrats have the advantage of being the bad guys. Virtually none of them objects to destroying our system of government so that they can remain in power indefinitely. They feel confident that those who vote for them won’t object either.

This bill and those who support it represent a greater threat to American liberty than any foreign enemy ever has. Single-party rule would quickly degenerate into a dictatorial oligarchy.

It is unconstitutional to snatch control of elections from the states, but that’s no problem. Democrats have already made it clear that they will pack the Supreme Court as necessary (see here, here, here, here, and here). At that point, the USA will no longer be a constitutional republic in any meaningful sense.

It’s as if they think they will never have to face voters again.

That’s exactly what they do think.

The ultimate Democrat power grab — essentially a coup d’état — passed the House as HR1. Now the Orwellian “For the People Act” is before the Senate. Ted Cruz weighs in on it:

This legislation would register millions of illegal aliens to vote. It is intended to do that. It is intended to do that because Democrats have made the decision that millions of illegal aliens voting are likely to vote for Democrats. This would register vast numbers of criminals and felons to vote because Democrats have made the decisions that criminals and felons are likely to vote for Democrats.

This legislation strikes down virtually every voter integrity law adopted at the state level, voter ID laws. Over 70% of Americans support voter ID laws. By the way, over 60% of African Americans in this country support voter ID laws. Twenty-nine states have voter ID laws on the books. What does this legislation do? Strikes them all down. Says it’s illegal for any state to have a voter ID law.

Ballot harvesting—31 states prohibit ballot harvesting. Why? Because it is a corrupt practice where paid operatives handle the ballots of someone else. And it has repeatedly led to instances of stealing votes. What does this bill do? It strikes down all 31 states’ restrictions on ballot harvesting.

This bill turns the Federal Election Commission from a bipartisan agency into a partisan agency, into a partisan agency controlled by Democrats. Why? Because Democrats want Chuck Schumer in charge of the Federal Election Commission. The effect of that, I will point out, will be that every Republican senator and every Republican House member will be investigated, will be fined, will be prosecuted by the Federal Election Commission.

Democrats wouldn’t like it if Republicans were to take over and be in charge of the politicized FEC, even if the GOP would be far less likely to abuse it. But they are confident that this will never happen. If this bill becomes law, the next legitimate US election will take place only after it has been forcibly repealed.

It is often remarked that you can tell what Democrats are up to by listening to what they accuse their opponents of doing. They claim without merit that those who insist on election integrity are suppressing votes. They are the ones suppressing votes, employing the same tactic they use to destroy the value of our savings. Just as they dilute our bank accounts toward worthlessness by printing vast amounts of money, they dilute our votes with invalid ones.

They accuse those who object to voter fraud of being insurrectionists. They are the ones overthrowing our system of government.

The For the People Act will never make it through a legitimate Supreme Court, because it takes control of elections away from the states. So that they could gauge the level of resistance they will encounter, Democrats have let us know in advance that they plan to pack the Supreme Court (see here, here, here, here, and here). When a packed court consisting of leftist apparatchiks gives the thumbs up to the For the People Act, ensuring single party rule, the insurrection will be complete.

Winston Smith is alive and well and working at USA Today, revising previously published pieces so that they serve the current interests of the ruling party:

USA Today appeared to have bizarrely allowed retroactive edits of an op-ed written by prominent Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams in an effort to water down her previous justification for boycotts after MLB moved its All-Star Game from Atlanta.

An outfit associated with Abrams was directly involved in bullying the MLB into moving the game as part of a campaign to lay the groundwork for HR1, which will establish systemic voter fraud on a national basis, obviating the need for Democrats to worry about voters.

“The impassioned response to the racist, classist bill that is now the law of Georgia is to boycott in order to achieve change,” Abrams originally wrote. “Events hosted by major league baseball, world class soccer, college sports and dozens of Hollywood films hang in the balance. At the same time, activists urge Georgians to swear off of hometown products to express our outrage. Until we hear clear, unequivocal statements that show Georgia-based companies get what’s at stake, I can’t argue with an individual’s choice to opt for their competition.”

Georgians were infuriated by the cost of her hardball politics in terms of lost revenue. Until HR1 is the law, Democrats still need to take the public’s feelings into account. So the editorial was retroactively revised.

“The impassioned (and understandable) response to the racist, classist bill that is now the law of Georgia is to boycott in order to achieve change. Events that can bring millions of dollars to struggling families hang in the balance. Major League Baseball pulled both its All-Star Game and its draft from Georgia, which could cost our state nearly $100 million in lost revenue,” Abrams’ revisions read. “Rather than accept responsibility for their craven actions, Republican leaders blame me and others who have championed voting rights (and actually read the bill). Their faux outrage is designed to hide the fact that they prioritized making it harder for people of color to vote over the economic well-being of all Georgians. To add to the injury, the failed former president is now calling for cancellation of baseball as the national pastime.”

The new national pastime is race-baiting. Power-hungry Democrats like Abrams are so good at it, they can convince the gullible that even preventing election fraud is racist. A second new national pastime is revising the past to benefit the Democratic Party.

Her revised op-ed adds, “Instead of a boycott, I strongly urge other events and productions to do business in Georgia and speak out against our law and similar proposals in other states.”

Media outlets and Twitter then used the revised version to “fact check” Republicans who noted her culpability for damaging boycotts of her own state.

After USA Today was called on its Orwellian attempt to control the future by changing the past, it altered the op-ed again by adding a note admitting that it had been revised.

When leftists have finished consolidating control of the Internet, once the past has been altered, no one will be in a position to call attention to it. The web of lies comprising the liberal narrative will serve as “reality.”

Abrams once burned the Georgia flag on the steps of the state capitol. But in the near future, that event will never have occurred — unless it having occurred benefits the Party.

The reason Democrats vehemently oppose a Georgia voting law that is no more restrictive than laws in many blue states is that they are setting the stage to ram through HR1, which would allow them to institutionalize voter fraud at the federal level, potentially guaranteeing them total power for the foreseeable future. The reason so many corporations noisily back them is that if Democrats achieve single-party tyranny, those who helped will be rewarded. Those who stood in the way will be punished — as will those who just tried to stay out of it. Already, an example is being made of Home Depot:

After weeks of talks with top executives of some of the state’s largest companies, a coalition of influential Georgia faith leaders called for a boycott of Home Depot on Tuesday, the first promised action by the group which has vowed to punish companies they claim have not strongly and publicly opposed the state’s new election law.

These are “faith leaders” of the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson variety. A less charitable description would be “race thugs.” If the race thugs who loot and destroy under the banner of Black Lives Matter are corporals, these are lieutenants. Both serve as the Democrat Party’s enforcers.

The thugs have announced a nationwide boycott of Home Depot.

Bishop Reginald T. Jackson, who heads the Sixth Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and has led the faith leaders’ opposition to the law, was not at the press conference but released a statement accusing Home Depot of remaining “silent and indifferent” to the plight of Black voters.

As automatons shriek on college campuses, silence is violence. Progressives have progressed from not tolerating resistance to not tolerating neutrality. Sing from their hymnal or face the consequences.

The Rev. Timothy McDonald III, senior pastor of First Iconium Baptist Church and founder of the African American Ministers Leadership Council, said the boycott was in “Phase 1″ and warned things could escalate.

McDonald says Phase 2 is deploying a mob to block entrances and occupy stores so that they cannot do business.

What do you suppose Phase 3 might be? Looting? Arson? The idea is to get the people running Home Depot wondering.

As the Derek Chauvin verdict confirmed, we are ruled by the mob now. Stand up to it and you are likely to get hurt. But at least you can regard yourself as an American, rather than something that crawls on its belly like the mollusks running Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta, et cetera.

Initially, faith leaders and voting rights advocates singled out several companies they criticized for saying nothing or offering bland statements about election restrictions. Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola eventually used more forceful language, calling the law “unacceptable.”

Bullying works in a country where character and rule of law are both succumbing to liberal decay.

In addition to speaking out collectively against Georgia’s law, the faith leaders are demanding that the companies back litigation seeking to block the law, oppose similar legislation in other states, and support federal legislation they say would provide uniformity in voting laws across the country.

That last part is the endgame: HR1. Once that has been passed, and the Supreme Court has been packed to prevent it from being ruled unconstitutional, Democrats won’t have to worry about what voters think of them.

The little people who shell out several days’ pay to take their family to a ballgame do not have a seat at the table. They don’t deserve one, because they are racist oppressors.

After these conversations, Manfred believed the All Star game would be turned into a political event and players would boycott the game, these people say.

So to prevent this, Manfred publicly reduced MLB to an organ of the Democrat Party, ensuring that patriotic Americans who want honest elections will boycott not just the All-Star game, but every game.

Characteristically shameless and dishonest, Abrams now says she is against boycotting Georgia, due to blowback from voters.

This isn’t about the Georgia law, which is no more restrictive than the laws in many blue states. It is about laying the groundwork to ram through HR1, which would establish single party Democrat rule by institutionalizing election fraud nationwide. Here’s confirmation:

People close to Manfred believe Abrams’ group and Sharpton also wanted the league to support other issues, including voter drives and H.R. 1, the For the People Act — sweeping election reform that recently passed the House.

Until recently, the main appeal of baseball was its status as America’s pastime. Just watching it was vaguely patriotic.

Then last year they presented Black Lives Matter worship services prior to games, at a time when American cities were burning. Jumbotrons filled with the faces of pampered, grotesquely overpaid players who whimpered that the USA oppresses them with its systemic racism. Instead of standing for Old Glory, the players knelt along the foul lines in obeisance to the black supremacist terrorists who had been tearing down statues of George Washington and setting fire to police stations.

Incredibly, the moonbattery got worse from there. Now MLB is actively attacking the American system of government by undermining the integrity of our elections. Baseball has gone from patriotic to treasonous.

“They wanted us to do more than just a pre-game ceremony…Baseball would have to be in the market for doing stuff involving voting rights,” a senior MLB executive with direct knowledge of the matter tells Fox News.

No matter how much you give in to radical leftists, it is never enough.

MLB punishing Georgia for a new law inhibiting the election fraud that the Democrat Party is banking on is, as Joe Biden might put it, hypocrisy on steroids.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred says the All-Star Game was pulled from Georgia (at Biden’s explicit request) because MLB “fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box.” Election security equals voter suppression, according to the leftist talking point.

Meanwhile, MLB just renewed a licensing contract with the ChiCom conglomerate Tencent, which does not air Houston Rockets or Philadelphia 76ers games because Daryl Morey expressed support for democracy in Hong Kong. Morey was GM for the Rockets and is now with the 76ers.

We already knew that Manfred doesn’t give a flying damn about democracy. Otherwise, he would be in favor of election integrity in Georgia.

According to Biden and toadies like Manfred, asking for ID is racist. That’s why Georgia must be punished. MLB did not respond to multiple requests from Fox News to explain its policy, which qualifies as “Jim Crow on steroids” by Biden’s criteria.

In case that isn’t enough hypocrisy to cure readers of watching hyperpoliticized professional baseball, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp notes that MLB is headquartered in New York:

“When you look at New York’s voting laws, you have to have an excuse to vote absentee by-mail in New York. You do not in Georgia,” Kemp said. …

Kemp said Georgia has 17 days of in-person early voting, while New York has 10.

“I guess we should be boycotting [MLB] for having their headquarters in New York because that law is more strict than ours,” he said. “I mean, this is all ridiculous.”

Not only is the Georgia boycott ridiculous, it is based on brazen lies.

The Georgia safeguards are less restrictive than those in Biden’s home state Delaware. But this isn’t about Georgia. It is about making sure everyone knows that no opposition to HR1 will be tolerated. If it passes, Democrats need never worry about the wrath of voters again. That’s why they have been pushing their radical agenda to the furthest extreme and shamelessly looting the treasury with blowout spending bills, as if the final election had already taken place.

Both parties have an interest in laws like Georgia’s. For either party to govern effectively, the public needs to believe it was elected legitimately.

However, the radicalized Democrats are no longer interested in governing. They want to rule. They don’t care if we regard elections as legitimate, so long as we know that if we resist we will be punished.

The emphasis placed on HR1, which would institutionalize voter fraud, has demonstrated that the Democrat Party relies heavily on cheating. The ruling party’s reaction to a Georgia law that tightens up a little of the sloppiness that characterized the 2020 election confirms it.

Democrats don’t merely oppose this law, which leaves swing state Georgia with looser restrictions than some solid blue states (e.g., New York, New Jersey, Joe Biden’s Delaware, etc.). They have gone nuclear, leaning heavily on corporations to back up their mendacious propaganda campaign against the law.

They didn’t have to twist arms hard at Major League Baseball, which is run by like-minded leftists, as its response to Black Lives Matter rioting made obvious.

Announces MLB:

Major League Baseball announced on Friday that it will relocate the 2021 All-Star Game and MLB Draft, originally scheduled to take place in Atlanta, to a to-be-determined location.

The decision comes a little more than a week after the passage of S.B. 202, a Georgia law that President Joe Biden criticized earlier this week, saying that it will restrict voting access for residents of the state.

On the contrary, the bill does not restrict voting access. It tries to cut down on fraud. Being asked to provide ID does not restrict voting access in any meaningful sense, nor is it remotely racist. But since the racism club works, that’s what the liberal establishment is beating Georgia with.

The MLB announcement goes on at length, self-righteously combatting imaginary racial oppression by helping the Democrat Party defend voter fraud. If you haven’t sworn off professional baseball yet, read it and you likely will.

Based on brazen lies told by Biden and the liberal media, allowing election fraud is presented as a civil rights issue — and yet:

Can they explain for us why they recently held a ball game in [the] brutal totalitarian military dictatorship of Cuba? … Can they explain to us why they hold a training camp in China, home of the Uighur slave-labor laogai and the broken-treaty de-democratization of Hong Kong?

The explanation is simple: this is not about civil rights. If anything, the Georgia law upholds civil rights by trying to prevent the cancelation of legitimate votes through fraud.

The entire issue is a power grab by the Democrat Party.

Corporations are scrambling to get in the good graces of a party that will exert a totalitarian level of control after it uses election fraud to cement single-party status. This is conspicuous in the case of Delta Airlines, which had praised the bill, but then turned against it afterward, evidently buckling to pressure from the Biden Regime.

The USA is becoming a country in which you cannot do business unless you are in the good graces of the Democrat Party. That is the point of the never-ending subsidies and regulations.

In most major cities and the entire state of California, Democrats have effectively already achieved single-party rule. Not nationally though. There has been some pushback from Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep Jeff Duncan (R-SC), who question MLB’s federal antitrust exemption:

“Why does @MLB still have antitrust immunity?” Lee tweeted. “It’s time for the federal government to stop granting special privileges to specific, favored corporations—especially those that punish their political opponents.”

However, privileges will continue to flow to the politically compliant so long as the Democrat Party rules by decree, ramming through legislation with zero support from Republicans.

The belligerent manner in which Democrats have imposed radical legislation and executive orders as if opposition did not exist indicates that they believe election fraud will protect them from the wrath of the population.

Zillionaire leftist Mark Zuckerberg could be emerging as the next George Soros. Last year, he passed out hundreds of $millions to “protect American elections.” To “protect” in this context means to ensure Democrats win. What Facebook’s “fact checkers” are to objective reality, a “fair election” group funded by Zuckerberg is to election integrity.

Money buys power. The Daily Signal reports on how some of Zuckerberg’s power was applied in Wisconsin, where Biden officially won by a whisker, 49.6% to 48.9%.

In the city of Green Bay, which received a total of $1.6 million in grant funding from the Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life, a “grant mentor” who has worked for several Democratic Party candidates, was given access to boxes of absentee ballots before the election.

Despite the liberal establishment’s pointed disinterest in this topic, emails have surfaced revealing that the election was compromised.

The emails show Green Bay’s highly partisan Mayor Eric Genrich, a Democrat, and his staff usurping City Clerk Kris Teske’s authority and letting the Zuckerberg-funded “grant team” take over—a clear violation of Wisconsin election statutes, say election law experts.

According to state law, municipal clerks administer elections. However, having been marginalized by the mayor’s office, Teske ended up stepping down, effectively leaving the election in the hands of Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein, Wisconsin state leader for the National Vote at Home Institute.

Spitzer-Rubenstein, who was tapped as point man for his organization’s efforts in Wisconsin, has a history of working for Democratic campaigns, according to his resume. In 2012, he interned for Melissa Mark-Viverito, a “fiercely liberal” Democrat and former speaker of the New York City Council.

Spitzer-Rubenstein sought to assist Green Bay elections officials correct or “cure” absentee ballots returned to the city clerk.

You can imagine what “cure” might mean in this context.

Spitzer-Rubenstein was given the keys to the room where the absentee ballots were stored. … The city of Green Bay literally gave the keys to the election to a Democratic Party operative from New York.

Green Bay is merely one example among many.

In July, the Center for Tech and Civic Life announced it was awarding grants totaling $6.3 million to the state’s five largest cities. Green Bay received nearly $1.1 million, and then picked up another half-million dollars in a supplemental grant.

This is a drop in the bucket to a plutocrat like Zuckerberg.

The grants were thanks to the $250 million “gift” from the CEO of Facebook, the social network giant that has silenced conservative speech. Zuckerberg would drop another $100 million on his “safe elections” agenda before the pivotal November presidential election.

As a Founding Father of progressivism observed,

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

If the Democrats manage to push HR1 across the finish line, the USA has had its last free and fair election. Then every election can be decided by liberal oligarchs like Zuckerberg behind the scenes before a vote is ever cast.

As mentioned earlier, today’s Democrats do not plan to relinquish power once they have gotten their hands on it. As also mentioned earlier, if you like the mess they made of the 2020 election, you will love what they plan to inflict with House bill HR1 and its companion Senate bill S1.

Former Justice Department lawyer J. Christian Adams sums up just how much damage Democrats plan to inflict on the American electoral system:

They are named H.R.1 and S.1 for a reason. The bills are the top priority of the newly empowered Democrats in Congress.

No more registering to vote. Ballots will be mailed out automatically to addresses generated by the bloated and incompetent federal bureaucracy. Excess ballots will be sent all over the place.

States also would be blocked by H.R.1 from signature verification procedures.

You say it is unconstitutional to deny states the right to run elections? No worries:

H.R.1 rigs the system for any lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the law. All lawsuits can only be filed in one court – federal court in the District of Columbia.

Clearing dead people off the rolls would not benefit the Democratic Party, so:

It prohibits states from conducting list maintenance on the voter rolls.

You need ID for everything else, but after Biden signs this bill, requiring it for voting will be abolished by federal law.

The power grab goes beyond blatantly encouraging and facilitating fraud. It lays the groundwork to disenfranchise states that vote the wrong way:

“Congress can reduce a state’s representation in Congress when the right to vote is denied.” Without qualification or definition, Congress could rely on this sentence unilaterally to cut the number of House members from any state it claims is denying the right to vote.

Similar phony claims are already common. Democrats often use them to deflect investigations into voter fraud. If HR1/S1 passes, investigating voter fraud might get you thrown in jail:

It criminalizes anyone who uses state challenge laws to question the eligibility of registrants wrongly. The penalty is up to one year in prison per instance.

The power grab unsurprisingly encroaches on free speech:

It criminalizes publishing “false statements” about qualifications to vote and “false statements” about which groups have endorsed which candidates.

If making what the authorities determine is a “false statement” about an election can get you thrown in jail, there is a good chance that the election is a charade and that you do not live in a free country.

The bill does away with election day:

Nationwide, states must accept mail ballots on Election Day plus 10 days later.

Al Franken and more recently Joe Biden can tell you how valuable it is to be able to keep counting votes until you get the desired result.

And of course, unlimited ballot harvesting — having a third party “help” to fill in and gather up ballots, then drop them off at a polling station or other designated station — is guaranteed.

If this abomination is imposed, America will officially become a single-party banana republic. Elections will be taken no more seriously than they are in Venezuela.

If they didn’t think the game is over, Time Magazine — the flagship magazine of the liberal establishment — would not run a nearly 7,000-word piece detailing the left-wing cabal that ensured Biden would win the 2020 election.

The piece, written by Molly Ball, is entitled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.” It is written from the point of view of those who seized power, but it is easy enough to unspin it, although occasional translations into plain English are provided below for the reader’s convenience:

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time.

“Voter suppression” refers to attempts to impede election fraud. Voting by mail is notoriously prone to election fraud.

They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.

“Disinformation” and “smears” are references to facts and opinions that might detract from Biden’s election effort. For example, when the New York Post broke a bombshell story right before the election that implicated Biden in influence peddling to our communist Chinese enemies, Facebook restricted access to it, and Twitter went still further, actually locking the account of America’s oldest continuously published newspaper. Despite being denounced as “disinformation” by the liberal establishment, the NY Post story turned out to be true.

They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction.

“Public-awareness campaign” means “propaganda barrage.” Regarding conspiracy theories, Ball admits that Trump was right regarding his suspicion of an “an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

…sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.

However, the fever dream turns out to be real.

The mastermind of the plot was Mike Podhorzer, senior adviser to the president of the AFL-CIO. Where corruption and leftism intersect, there you find Big Unions.

Podhorzer began working from his laptop at his kitchen table, holding back-to-back Zoom meetings for hours a day with his network of contacts across the progressive universe: the labor movement; the institutional left, like Planned Parenthood and Greenpeace; resistance groups like Indivisible and MoveOn; progressive data geeks and strategists, representatives of donors and foundations, state-level grassroots organizers, racial-justice activists and others.

In other words, he brought together many factions of the radical Left.

Protecting the election would require an effort of unprecedented scale. As 2020 progressed, it stretched to Congress, Silicon Valley and the nation’s statehouses.

“Protecting” means “winning by any means necessary.”

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative chipped in $300 million.

CZI is owned by Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan.

Laura Quinn, a veteran progressive operative … piloted a nameless, secret project, which she has never before publicly discussed, that tracked disinformation online and tried to figure out how to combat it.

Quinn found that it is ineffective to counter “disinformation” with rational argument; that just draws attention to facts you don’t want people to know about.

The solution, she concluded, was to pressure platforms to enforce their rules, both by removing content or accounts that spread disinformation and by more aggressively policing…

Enforcement of these vague rules was on a conspicuously selective basis.

In November 2019, Mark Zuckerberg invited nine civil rights leaders to dinner at his home, where they warned him about the danger of the election-related falsehoods that were already spreading unchecked. “It took pushing, urging, conversations, brainstorming, all of that to get to a place where we ended up with more rigorous rules and enforcement,” says Vanita Gupta, president and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, who attended the dinner and also met with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and others. (Gupta has been nominated for Associate Attorney General by President Biden.)

A woman who took a leadership role in suppressing information prior to the election will be working at a high level in the Justice Department. The next election won’t be any cleaner.

But then, Time wouldn’t be admitting the election was essentially rigged if the ruling oligarchy were not confident that future elections will be rigged still more securely.

The avowed Marxists of Black Lives Matter took time off from their many riots to join the cabal. We all know about the deep reverence communists have for free and fair elections.

Many [Black Lives Matter] organizers were part of Podhorzer’s network, from the activists in battleground states who partnered with the Democracy Defense Coalition to organizations with leading roles in the Movement for Black Lives. …

Black organizers also recruited thousands of poll workers to ensure polling places would stay open in their communities.

This calls to mind the 2008 election, when uniformed New Black Panther thugs wielding batons attempted to frighten Caucasians away from polling places. Charges were dropped by Obama’s Justice Department.

If Trump had prevailed following election day, the cabal was prepared to go to Plan B: street violence.

More than 150 liberal groups, from the Women’s March to the Sierra Club to Color of Change, from Democrats.com to the Democratic Socialists of America, joined the “Protect the Results” coalition. The group’s now defunct website had a map listing 400 planned postelection demonstrations, to be activated via text message as soon as Nov. 4.

The liberal establishment utilizes these maniacal moonbats as necessary, but even otherwise respectable people were involved.

About a week before Election Day, Podhorzer received an unexpected message: the U.S. Chamber of Commerce wanted to talk.

Businessmen sensibly wanted to avoid another wave of the leftist rioting that caused $2 billion in damage last year. Looks like some were willing to collaborate with leftists to ensure peace at any price.

“With tensions running high, there was a lot of concern about unrest around the election, or a breakdown in our normal way we handle contentious elections,” says Neil Bradley, the Chamber’s executive vice president and chief policy officer.

The Capitol Riot was the exception that proves the rule: leftists riot, not conservatives.

Virtually the entire establishment pitched in:

Fox News surprised everyone by calling Arizona for Biden. The public-awareness campaign had worked: TV anchors were bending over backward to counsel caution and frame the vote count accurately.

Fox News bent over backward, all right. It obviously called Arizona prematurely, to Biden’s benefit. Its viewership cratered afterward and may never fully recover.

Here’s why there were no leftist riots on election night, when it seemed likely that Trump would win:

“We wanted to be mindful of when was the right time to call for moving masses of people into the street,” [Angela Peoples of the Democracy Defense Coalition] says. As much as they were eager to mount a show of strength, mobilizing immediately could backfire…

So the word went out: stand down.

Let that sink in. Time Magazine just admitted that the only reason the people who installed Biden did not flood the streets with rioters on election night is that they thought it might backfire.
