That didn’t take long. Mamdani took power on a platform of free everything for everybody less than a month ago. Already he has announced a “fiscal crisis” that will of course require jacking up taxes even higher:

This quote is especially ominous:

“It means recalibrating the relationship with the State.”

For a preview of the relationship he has in mind, refer to the Bolshevik seizure of power following the October Revolution. This resulted in hunger, terror, repression, and tens of millions of corpses. The USA will face the same fate if similar Democrats seize power at the national level.

To learn just how moonbatty moonbats can get, refer to the fresh new face of the Democratic Party. Daily Caller reports that Zohran Mamdani wants New Yorkers to read the homoerotic novel Heated Rivalry by Canadian author Rachel Reid:

Mamdani held the press conference to brief New Yorkers on the precautions they should take to prepare for the massive storm that hit the U.S. over the weekend. Mamdani called on residents to stay home to avoid the storm and occupy themselves by reading the popular romance novel accounting a secret gay relationship between two rival hockey players.

Urged Mamdani:

“The snow is coming down heavily across our city, and I can think of no better excuse for New Yorkers to stay home, take a long nap or take advantage of our public library’s offer of free access to ‘Heated Rivalry’ on e-book or audio book for anyone with a library card.”

As part of the social engineering implemented by every institution controlled by liberals, the unwholesome fiction is on offer leading up to Valentine’s Day.

Mamdani’s fellow Muslims would be more likely to throw the author off a rooftop than read Heated Rivalry. Moonbats are moonbats exclusively and insincere about any other professed beliefs.

Wisps of smoke may escape taxpayers’ ears as they watch Uganda-born Islamocommunist colonist Zohran Mamdani proclaim they will have to finance free childcare for anyone from anywhere who shows up in New York — including the illegal aliens Mamdani protects from deportation:

If the radicalized Democratic Party secures power at the federal level, the rest of the nation will soon be bailing out bankrupt New York. But no one will bail out the USA when they bankrupt that too.

Police Injured in Line of Duty Not Welcome in NYC Emergency Room

It isn’t just vicious rhetoric on social media. Being identified with a group leftists don’t like could interfere with receiving medical care.

The New York Post reports from New York City:

[T]hree plainclothes detectives showed up at NYU Langone/Cobble Hill hospital after a scuffle with a drug suspect – and things quickly got tense between the cops and hospital staff.

Staff gave them a hard time about their service weapons. But guns were probably not the source of the problem.

“[Hospital staff] were nasty to the officers in the waiting room, accused them of being ICE and suggested they go elsewhere,” one ticked off source familiar with the incident said.

As former mayor Eric Adams observes,

“A hospital that politicizes emergency care is no longer a hospital. It’s an activist institution pretending to practice medicine.”

Any institution that serves moonbattery serves it first before any other purpose.

NYC’s Chief Equity Officer Proclaims Equity Will Be Inflicted Ubiquitously

Any Caucasians who have not yet escaped from what was once New York City are advised to pack their bags. Behold Afua Atta-Mensah, Islamocommunist Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Chief Equity Officer and Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice:

To quote:

“The role of a chief equity officer is to be the City’s moral architect. It is about ensuring that every budget line, every housing development, and every city contract passes an equity test.”

“Equity” means they take it from whoever earned it and give it to someone who doesn’t deserve it, usually along racial lines. “Racial justice” means if you are white, they want to hurt you. What moonbats mean when they say “moral” is beyond comprehension.

The purpose of the current Democratic Party/mainstream media/Antifa war on ICE is to keep the immigration floodgates open so as to overwhelm the native population to the point that the last Americans are ruled by people like this. They will confiscate our property and literally enslave us via the welfare state.

Mamdani Housing Official Declares War on White, Middle-Class Homeowners

The sort of liberals who are now running our largest city hate America and plan to destroy it. Don’t take my word for it. Actual quote from Cea Weaver, Zohran Mamdani’s Director of the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants:

“White, middle-class homeowners are a huge problem for a renter justice movement.”

Seriously, she said that:

Weaver has also proclaimed that home ownership is a “weapon of white supremacy” — implying that it must be abolished out of hatred for her own race.

Deliberately engineered demographic transformation is allowing people like this to take power. This will not end well.

New York Democrats Are Eradicating Landlords

If your problems start to get you down, look at the bright side; at least you probably are not a landlord in New York City. The reason housing is in such short supply there is that the moonbats in charge have made life a living hell for those who provide it.

Via Fox News:

The process of eviction is far from a guarantee that tenants will be forced to leave their Gotham apartment to be replaced by someone who will actually provide the revenue an owner needs. Eviction cases often drag on for more than a year, thanks to the fact that tenants are guaranteed a city-paid attorney.

Even after a court order to leave, tenants can “ask the court for up to one year to move if you can show you can’t find a similar apartment in the same neighborhood.” In other words, tenants can live rent-free for another year.

What’s more, tenants facing eviction can receive so-called “one-shot deals” from the city that pay their back rent — and allow them to stay while they seek other housing, during which time they can continue not to pay rent. After that, they can move on to another apartment — and rinse and repeat.

Landlords’ expenses keep shooting up. Rent is not allowed to keep pace with them.

Some 960,000 Gotham apartments are rent-stabilized, meaning rents can increase only as much as a city agency, the Rent Guidelines Board, permits. During former Mayor Bill de Blasio’s time in office, the permitted increase for three years was zero. A similar rent freeze was the cornerstone of Democratic Socialist Mamdani’s campaign.

How are landlords expected to stay solvent? They are not expected to.

The state’s rent regulations even sharply limit increases for capital repairs — improvements made to bring dilapidated units up to housing codes.

Now imagine how bad it will get with Zohran Mamdani and his Director of the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants Cea Weaver in charge. Weaver has denounced home ownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” and has called for seizing private property.

The objective is to put an end to private housing in New York. Ever been to an urban housing project? If so, congratulations on getting out alive after seeing what Democrats plan to impose on all of us.

Given the context of current events, this is an open invitation to fraud.

Like Minnesota, New York is becoming a colony of the Third World, as evidenced by Mamdani’s sickening rise to power. Democrat politicians facilitate fraud not only to pander for votes, but because they regard it as another form of the wealth redistribution they so love. Welfare fraud is social justice.
