How to Make an Electric Car Into a Long-Distance Vehicle

For whatever inscrutable reasons, our moonbat rulers have determined that we must be forced to drive unreliable, combustion-prone, excessively expensive electric cars, even if they are more harmful to the environment than proper cars, which California and New York have already moved to make illegal. If Democrats are not pried from power, EVs will be mandated at a national level. Since soon we may be forced not only to subsidize but even to drive EVs, it is nice to know that they actually can be used to drive long distances without having to stop constantly to recharge:

A man took his electric vehicle on a road trip and had an unconventional solution for driving 1,800 miles without stopping for a charge.

Matt Mikka explained he used a 400-cc gas generator in the back of his Tesla Model S.

Mikka says it’s “way faster than charging.” EVs are powered by fossil fuels anyway, since green energy foolishness cannot generate electricity on the scale required.

His solution isn’t perfect:

While Mikka made the 1,800-mile trip without plugging in at an electric vehicle charging station, he had to stop to allow the Tesla to charge on the side of the road. Mikka also said he had to drive at slower speeds in order to have enough energy to keep the Tesla charged.

Let’s stick with the internal combustion engine until something better comes along. If electric cars were an improvement, Democrats would not have to subsidize and mandate them.

On a tip from Steve T.
