Don’t worry, liberals won’t ban the Bible outright. First, they will designate it as objectional material with trigger warnings— as at the University of Sheffield :
Students are warned that the Bible contains scenes of murder and violence, with the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, singled out, according to the [Mail on Sunday], for “graphic bodily injury and sexual violence”.
Note they target the New Testament. Evidently moonbats regard the Crucifixion as sexually titillating, which would be consistent with their embrace of depravity.
Next comes an NC-17 rating on the Bible. Only after that flies will they actually ban it.

In fairness to the English remnant of the Church of England, let’s hear what Archbishop of Canterbury and LGBT advocate Sarah Mullally has to say about protecting children from perverts who groom them for sexual exploitation:
When Sarah Mullally was questioned on how the Church would protect children from sexualisation & “queer theory”, she remained silent.
Today, she was appointed as Archbishop of Canterbury 👇 pic.twitter.com/Ek0k4XAAkv

That must be what people mean when they say, “The silence was deafening.” You can see why the church’s Christian contingent has broken off.
On a tip from David Kight.
The leftists who infiltrated and subverted the Church of England eroded it to the point of no longer being Christian. They tried to regender God. They defiled Canterbury Cathedral with leftist graffiti. Worst of all, they named pro-abortion LGBT advocate Sarah Mullally head of the church. Unsurprisingly, this historic church is now coming apart:
The unity of Church of England has been dealt a major blow to the denomination in a punishing reminder that theological treason has consequences, after a group representing nearly 40 million members—ten times the number of Anglicans in the UK—announced they are the real Anglican Communion and will no longer be in communion with their progressive counterpart, dividing the denomination in two…
The Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (Gafcon), which represents the conservative branch of the denomination, mainly in the developing world and Africa, has seen the writing on the wall and has been pushing back against the denomination, routinely castigating them for their abandonment of the scriptures and historic Anglican teaching.
Gafcon has announced that…
…they are NOT splitting off from the historic Anglican Church to form a new Anglican Communion, but rather that they ARE the true Anglican Communion and will be reordering themselves accordingly.
They also announced they will be replacing the Archbishop of Canterbury with their own appointed “first among equals,” declaring the current Archbishop, Sarah Mullally, an imposter and an illegitimate usurper.
The Church of England is no longer English. Its farcical remnants in the UK will wither and die. It cannot compete with the BBC and higher education among those who worship moonbattery.

Despite officially approving an LGBT takeover of St. Peter’s Basilica, the Catholic Church lags behind the hyperwoke Church of England in the March of Progress. Pope Leo could leap into the lead by bestowing blessings upon this:
A man urinated on the Altar of Confession of St. Peter’s Basilica on Friday before being taken away by security officers in the famous basilica, according to news reports.
The man climbed the altar and “urinated under the stunned gaze of hundreds of tourists,” according to the newspaper Corriere della Sera’s Rome edition.
This represents a natural escalation:
In February, a man desecrated the altar by climbing on top of it and throwing six candelabras that were on the altar to the ground.
In June 2023, meanwhile, a Polish man approached the high altar as the basilica was about to close, undressed, and climbed onto the altar. Photos posted online showed the words “Save children of Ukraine” written in marker on his back.
The sacred is under assault.

It goes beyond naming lefty Sarah Mullally to be the Historic First Female Archbishop of Canterbury. Moonbats have been systematically destroying the Church of England. They are not subtle about it:
The Church of England has allowed Canterbury Cathedral, its ancient mother church, to be vandalized by graffiti artists from “marginalized communities.” … The so-called “Hear Us” installation features graffiti messages such as “Are you there?” and “Is illness sin?” pasted on the walls, pillars, and floors of the 1,400-year-old cathedral.
Catholic countermoonbat JD Vance remarked on the irony of “honoring ‘marginalized communities’ by making a beautiful historical building really ugly.”
In contrast,
David Monteith, the openly homosexual Dean of Canterbury, defended the installation, claiming, “There is a rawness which is magnified by the graffiti style, which is disruptive.”
By “disrupt,” they mean destroy — which is all leftism is good for. Monteith advances this objective by holding his position while publicly embracing sin, as does the ostentatiously lesbian Archbishop of Wales Cherry Vann.
The Church of England is no longer a Christian denomination. It is a denomination of moonbattery. That is the fate of any institution that allows liberals to infiltrate and subvert it.
The oldest cathedral in England, Canterbury Cathedral, established in 597 AD by St. Augustine.
It was founded to reintroduce Christianity to the Anglo-Saxons.
Now, done up like this by a "Modern artist" who doesn't know what gender they are.

One reason for moonbats to get their education in a place like Berkeley is that it allows them to major in blasphemy. From New Ways Ministry:
Today’s reflection is from Ish Ruiz, Assistant Professor of Queer & Latinx Decolonial Theology at Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, California. He is the author of LGBTQ+ Educators in Catholic Schools: Embracing Synodality, Inclusivity, and Justice, and a co-editor of Cornerstones: Sacred Stories of LGBTQ+ Employees in Catholic Institutions.
The educator Ruiz reveals that he has borne a cross: not his temptation to indulge in sin but rather the failure of others to approve of it:
“Through therapy, spiritual direction, and a lot of dancing at gay bars, I realized that my queerness was not a cross. My real cross was the social intolerance I encountered in society and throughout my upbringing. The cross was exclusion fueled by narrow theology and rigid, outdated teaching. The cross was also the racism I felt, even within some queer spaces, as a brown, queer Puerto Rican.”
The poor guy has practically endured crucifixion. This qualifies him to preach moonbattery under a vanishingly thin veneer of Christianity — the best strategy leftists have come up with yet to eradicate faith.
The moonbattery quickly merges into straight forward blasphemy:
“I also realized that my queerness is a gift from Jesus that allowed me to bear those crosses of intolerance and oppression.”
The immoral behavior comprising his queerness is adamantly condemned throughout the Bible.
“Jesus is queer. Not necessarily in the sense of sexual attraction or identity, though perhaps he was queer in that way (but who knows?).”
Moonbattery isn’t the only thing Ruiz worships. He also worships his self-pity over imagining himself to be oppressed:
“Jesus was queer in the sense that He knows what it is like to live differently, to be misunderstood, to be marginalized [yadda yadda yadda]. [M]y queerness is the Spirit’s gift that helps me endure and even transform the suffering caused by exclusion, racism, and shame.”
If only moonbats were capable of shame.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan has been steering clear of politics if he didn’t know who Charlie Kirk was. He knows now — as does everyone. Cardinal Dolan compares him to Saint Paul:
Cardinal Dolan says he spent the past week studying Charlie Kirk’s life, and the more he learned, the more he saw him as a modern-day Saint Paul.
A fearless missionary, a passionate evangelist, and a true hero.

Charlie Kirk didn’t die a martyr only to the conservative cause and free speech. He is a Christian martyr. He was killed because he evangelized for good.
