We knew from early on that Covid is no more of a risk to kids than the flu. In contrast, Covid hysteria has been devastating for them. It has produced an epidemic of mental illness that could dwarf Covid in terms of long-term impact:

• Schools around the country are reporting an increase in student violence, some targeting teachers.

• Educators told Insider it’s likely linked to mental health issues that worsened over the pandemic.

• One counselor said students are showing symptoms of PTSD with depression rates “through the roof.”

Doom and gloom propaganda, senseless restrictions, social isolation, and dehumanizing, suffocating masks have consequences for vulnerable children:

“The number of suicide threats in my own school has skyrocketed since COVID,” Amy Riley, a school counselor at Mercer County Intermediate School in Kentucky, told state lawmakers on Tuesday. “Just this morning, I had to do a suicide risk assessment on a 9-year-old in my school before I came to this hearing today.”

Riley told Insider that she’s assessed 26 students ages eight through 10 for suicide risk since May, many of whom were then hospitalized or enrolled in therapy.

Before the pandemic, she said she would only have one or two suicide assessments a month. Now she sees two or three students every day.

Regarding the outbursts of violence from students, being forced to wear Covid obedience muzzles has had a similar effect on airline passengers — providing the Biden Administration with yet another pretext for authoritarianism.

Wait until they start inflicting unnecessary and insufficiently tested Covid vaccines on kids — as in California. Then the real damage to children may begin.

It isn’t enough to require hospital workers to take a vaccine regardless of whether it makes sense for them. Even their spouses must be vaxxed. The Blaze reports from Louisiana:

Ochsner Health, the largest hospital system in the state, in August mandated that all of its employees get vaccinated or lose their jobs. Now, the company sent a notice to employees informing them that a health insurance surcharge of $100 per pay period will be inflicted on any employee with an unvaccinated domestic partner or spouse who is covered under the company health insurance plan, a letter sent to employees stated.

Leftist congresscritter Ted Lieu (D-CA), never one of the brightest bulbs on the tree, takes this opportunity to inadvertently make the case for rejecting socialized medicine:

This is not about health, or no one would twist arms to make those with natural immunity get the vaccine. Coercion is an end in itself for people of a certain political persuasion. Squeezing out extra money is the main point for others.
