Mamdani Will Effectively Legalize Minor Crime

Ever wonder what havoc would ensue if Black Lives Matter types took charge of the USA’s largest city? You are about to find out:

Democratic mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani and his comrades at the Democratic Socialists of America want to wipe out the enforcement of all misdemeanor offenses…

Misdemeanors in New York include theft of up to $1,000, drug possession, assault without a weapon, and drunk driving. These would be effectively legal.

“For all of the working class to achieve collective liberation we must constrain, diminish, and abolish the carceral forces of the state — from prisons and police themselves, to their manifestations in all forms throughout society,” according to the national party’s latest platform, adopted in 2021. …

The DSA has also pushed to slash arrests, gut prosecutors’ budgets, abolish cash bail and all forms of pre-trial detention, scrap electronic monitoring, and end imprisonment for parole violations.

The rabidly anti-cop Mamdani is on board:

Mamdani, a Queens assemblyman and member of the NYC chapter of the DSA and its endorsed mayoral candidate, has questioned the purpose of prisons and repeatedly called to roll back punishment on so-called “non-violent offenses” – both as an Albany lawmaker and in his Gotham mayoral campaign.

What is a nonviolent offense? Potentially, any offense:

“What violent crime is – is defined by the state,” [Madmani] said at a 2021 protest outside the Manhattan DA’s office to nix cash bail and shut down Rikers – a promise he’s still making. ” Violence is an artificial construction,” he said at the time.

Apply the broken windows theory to see where his policies will quickly lead.

If elected mayor, Mamdani can’t change state laws, but does have influence over how they’re enforced. He could force the NYPD to deprioritize certain arrests or pressure district attorneys not to prosecute certain cases – much like Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg did in his controversial “day one” memo telling staff to go soft on armed robberies and drug dealing.

Moonbattery has rotted NYC to the core. Mamdani is likely to win in a blowout. Any Americans left in the city are advised to get out immediately.

Zohran Mamdani Is No Strongman

Zohran Mamdani has made it clear that he would like to impose socialist tyranny. But there’s no need to worry about him becoming a strongman. Here’s how we know:

Mamdani, 33, climbed under the bench press bar loaded with a modest 135 pounds—a weight most high school athletes can rep with ease. What followed was pure comedy. The would-be mayor couldn’t even get the bar off the rack without help. With a crowd watching, he strained and shook as a spotter all but carried the load for him through two embarrassing “reps.”

“Mamscrawny” is now rivaling “Madmani” as a nickname.

Somehow he has managed to become an even more perfect embodiment of elitist liberalism.

Protecting Oklahoma Schools From Invasive Pests

Wise leaders protect their jurisdictions from invasive species likely to cause great damage. That’s why teachers from California and New York will have to pass a certification test indicating that they are not moonbats before they are trusted to teach in Oklahoma public schools.

USA Today is not pleased:

Regardless of the subject or grade they teach, they’ll have to show they know “the biological differences between females and males” and that they agree with the state’s American history standards, which includes elements of a conspiracy theory that the Democratic Party stole the 2020 presidential election from President Donald Trump, which fact checkers have said are false.

The worst thing USA Today could find in the Oklahoma curriculum that CA and NY teachers will have to agree to support is that children can be taught about threats to the integrity of elections that Democrats would rather not talk about.

Oklahoma is offering teaching bonuses that go up to $50,000 to attract teachers from across the nation…

But with children’s hearts, minds, and educations at stake, discretion must be exercised. On the Left Coast, the 2016 California Healthy Youth Act dictates that public school lessons must include indoctrination with perverted LGBT ideology. Children in uncorrupted states need to be protected from this mentality.

Nonprofit conservative media company Prager U is helping Oklahoma’s state department of education develop the test.

The juvenile moonbats who write for USA Today would not be likely to pass it:

The new curriculum also teaches the contested theory that COVID-19 emerged from a lab leak and removed a prior proposal for lessons about George Floyd’s murder and Black Lives Matter.

That Covid was created at the Wuhan Institute of Virology has not been seriously contested for years. George Floyd was not murdered. The pro-criminal, anti-American Black Lives Matter ideology that produced an ongoing epidemic of violent crime is conspicuously wicked.

Mamdani Not Welcome on Staten Island

On Wednesday, the Islamocommunist Zohran Mamdani ventured out of his liberal elite safe zone of Manhattan into the borderlands of America — namely, Staten Island. It did not go well:

“There’s the communist. You are not welcome, you Jew-hating piece of sh*t. You hate this country,” a protester yelled at Mamdani in a video shared on social media.

Mamdani was coming out of the Istanbul Bay Authentic Mediterranean Restaurant when a protester wearing a “Trump girl” T-shirt could be heard shouting, “Go back to where you came from. We don’t want you on Staten Island.”

She speaks for the rest of the country. The old New Yorker map of the USA comes to mind, consisting of Manhattan, the Pacific Ocean, and a tiny sliver of which liberal elitists like Mamdani are dimly aware in between.

In the future, Mamdani would be wise to limit foreign travel to his other safe space, Uganda.

NYC Taxpayers Forced to Finance Transsexual Shelter

Membership has its privileges. Membership in identity groups upon which the status of “oppressed” has been bestowed enjoy privileges the rest of us are forced to pay for. At the top of the Cultural Marxist Pyramid of Privilege perch the sexually deranged:

New York City has made a significant move in support of its transgender and gender-nonconforming residents by opening a city-funded shelter specifically tailored to their needs. Ace’s Place, located in Long Island City, Queens, is managed by the Bronx-based LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization Destination Tomorrow, as reported by Gothamist.

“Nonprofit” in this case means the profit is provided on a coercive basis by the government.

With an investment of $65 million pledged by the city for the operation of the shelter through 2030, Ace’s Place stands as the first city-funded initiative of its kind in the United States.

The idea is not merely to provide cost-free housing but to promote the dysfunctional transsexual lifestyle. Explains Destination Tomorrow CEO Sean Ebony Coleman:

“They’re in an environment that completely affirms who they are and how they see themselves.”

That is, they are egged on in their psychotic delusions at taxpayer expense for social engineering purposes. The tomorrow Coleman et al. intend as our destination will not be healthy or wholesome.

The shelter is not just about temporary refuge but is aimed at empowering residents, so they “get loved up on and get all of the things that you need to get right back out here and face this world,” as Coleman shared with the Advocate.

Good thing Zohran Mamdani will soon jack taxes even further into the stratosphere for those who have not escaped from New York. The money has to come from somewhere.

Zohran Mamdani v. Police

Two things can prevent maniacs like Shane Tamura from killing the innocent at will: (1) defensively armed citizens and (2) local police. Zohran Mamdani, the Democrat candidate for mayor of New York, opposes both.

Regarding guns, Mamdani wants a total ban, meaning only criminals would possess them.

Regarding the police:

“We don’t need an investigation to know that the NYPD is racist, anti-queer & a major threat to public safety. What we need is to #DefundTheNYPD. But your deal with [New York City mayor] uses budget tricks to keep as many cops as possible on the beat. NO to fake cuts – defund the police,” he posted on June 28, 2020.

Those who were New Yorkers in 2001 remember the reverence with which the NYPD was regarded for rushing into the World Trade Center after Muslims had flown planes into it. Many died trying to save others, oblivious to their own safety. This reverence is not shared by the Islamocommie Mamdani:

“All this misery. All for money. In the last budget, the City Council tried to make the NYPD reduce its overtime budget by half. They simply refused. There is no negotiating with an institution this wicked & corrupt. Defund it. Dismantle it. End the cycle of violence,” he wrote.

New York Ban on Natural Gas Upheld

Thanks to the blessed results of last November’s election, the rest of the country can breathe a sigh of relief. But deep blue states like New York remain stuck on tyrannical moonbattery. An impending ban on natural gas connections in new buildings has been upheld in court:

U.S. District Judge Glenn Suddaby of the Northern District of New York said the state’s prohibition on new gas infrastructure does not conflict with the federal Energy Policy and Conservation Act, rejecting preemption claims by opponents who sued to block the requirements from going into effect next year. …

The ruling stems from a 2023 lawsuit by a coalition of business groups and unions challenging New York’s regulations The groups argued the restrictions – set to go into effect Jan. 1 – are preempted by federal law and will hurt business revenues and profits, jeopardize jobs and hiring and training programs, and hamper development of the fossil fuel industry’s workforce.

They will also hamstring chefs and send the cost of heating homes through the stratosphere. But in the moonbat religion, clean and abundant natural gas is haram.

Greedy Taxes Drive the Productive Out of Northeast

The truism “Get woke, go broke” applies not only to companies that succumb to moonbattery but to whole regions — like New York and New Jersey, which have lost $142 billion in income in the past decade.

Stephen Moore reports:

From 2015 to 2024, New York has lost 2 million residents.

As a refugee from New York, I can attest that leftism was already making the once great state unlivable when I escaped back in 2006.

[T]he movers are taking a lot of personal income and purchasing power with them. From 2012 to 2022, New York has lost $111 billion in income while Jersey is down by more than $31 billion.

Because the income is lost forever — except for the rare cases when the exiles move back — these income losses accumulate year after year.

Not many will be moving back. That would be like getting over the Berlin Wall, then going back the other way.

High among the reasons to avoid Democrat rule is excessive taxation:

New York, New Jersey and California are the three biggest losers in the interstate migration sweepstakes, and they just happen to be the states with the highest state-local income tax add-ons. The big winner states like Florida and Texas have no income tax at all.

The highest income tax in the entire country is inflicted in New York City.

Now one of the leading candidates for mayor, Zohran Mamdani, wants to raise the tax on the rich by another 2 percentage points.

How many of the billionaires this silver spoon Stalinist demonizes will stick around to be looted?

Liberals are reducing their Northeast/California bicoastal power base to pockets of rust. The silver lining is that blue states can serve as a cautionary tale for the rest of the country.

Democrats might be able to prop up blue state populations through mass Third World immigration and by paying women to have babies out of wedlock. If they can replace enough of the productive citizens they are driving out, they might prevail in national elections. Then the other states will be forced to perpetually pay their bills.

Fortunately, the Founding Fathers avoided directly proportional democracy so as to prevent densely populated regions from enslaving the rest of the country. You can see why moonbats want to abolish the Electoral College and even the Senate.
