Gates Are Closing on Escaping South Africans

After leftists fundamentally transform a country, people must be prevented from escaping. South Africa is no exception.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, a U.S.-affiliated refugee processing center in Johannesburg was raided by South African officials wearing khaki uniforms. The facility had been operating quietly, processing asylum applications from white South Africans — many of them Afrikaner farmers — under provisions authorized by executive order. The raid was calculated, hostile, and executed while U.S. immigration agents were on site.

These agents were forced to flee.

The context:

Earlier this year, President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order directing the United States to open accelerated asylum pathways for white South African farmers and the Afrikaner community, citing their persecution under discriminatory policies by the South African government.

An eyewitness reports that refugees attempting to escape the Rainbow Utopia were ominously video-recorded.

The officials mocked and intimidated the refugee applicants, saying things like, “Ah, shame. So many whiteies who were trying to run away to America.” The atmosphere was tense and very intimidating.

It has become common for whites not to be allowed out of the country. Given that the people it has been handed over to loudly hate Caucasians, who have supposedly been keeping them down, why won’t the South African regime let them leave?

Because white South Africans now make up only about 5-7 % of the South African population, yet the country’s tax burden is carried by a very small slice of income earners. According to the 2025 tax data, roughly 1.5 % of the population pays more than 60 % of personal income tax, and a narrow group of individuals shoulders most of the tax load — a structure that makes any disruptions among these contributors deeply consequential.

[Whites] are hated, vilified, and marginalized, yet they are too economically valuable to release.

Cyril Ramaphosa may be bright enough to learn a lesson from Zimbabwe, which Robert Mugabe managed to transform from the Breadbasket of Africa (when it was Rhodesia) into a starving basket case when white farmers left after their land had been violently expropriated.

It remains to be seen whether the USA will learn a lesson from South Africa, which we are on track to follow down the tubes after undergoing demographic transformation by way of mass immigration and the welfare state.

California Court to Decide Whether Moonbattery Is Mental Illness

The correlation between moonbattery and mental illness is well established. But is it clinically accurate to say that moonbattery actually is a manifestation of mental illness? The question has legal ramifications.

…a 28-year-old Indian-American leftist activist who identifies as “non-binary”. “They” were born and raised in Bakersfield, California and worked as an Economic Development Coordinator for the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment (CRPE), a nonprofit environmental justice organization that focuses on “supporting low-income and marginalized communities.” In her job, Patel “highlighted intersectionality within environmental justice” and “collective liberation for oppressed communities”. Patel reportedly volunteered for the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign as well.

A real moonbat, all right — and like all other moonbats, crazy as a sprayed roach:

In April 2024, Patel appeared at a city council meeting in Bakersfield, California. She stepped up to the microphone and delivered a furious speech about Gaza, metal detectors, oppressors, and revolution. She concluded her remarks with a blunt threat to the elected officials, “We’ll see you at your house, we’ll murder you.”

That’s against the law:

Prosecutors charged her under California Penal Code § 422, which criminalizes willful threats to commit acts that could result in death or great bodily injury, i.e. “terrorism”.

Patel’s lawyers want to refer the case to California’s mental health diversion program — that is, get her off with the insanity defense.

The case has broad implications.

Leftist activists like Patel increasingly act as though they can intimidate, or openly threaten, government officials and conservatives without fear of consequence, particularly when they believe their views are protected by alignment with the media and a dominant political party. Accountability is simply not expected.

Handing out Get Out of Jail Free cards in the name of the insanity defense would make unaccountability official. Presumably this would apply not only to threats but actual violence, which has always been a hallmark of leftism, as Charlie Kirk’s assassination reminds us. But at least it would also make official that leftists are insane.

Neighborhood Crime Watch Signs Removed for Being Racist

Not only is it racist to incarcerate criminals, it is racist even to suggest you don’t want them casing your neighborhood.

MLive reports from Ann Arbor, Michigan, via Instapundit:

City Council voted 10-0 Monday night, Dec. 15, to direct city staff to remove all neighborhood watch signs in the city by July 15 as the city strives to be more welcoming and inclusive.

A City Council resolution denounces neighborhood watch programs:

“These programs were often rooted in assumptions about who did and did not ‘belong’ in a neighborhood, reinforcing race-based hyper-vigilance and suspicion particularly toward Black, Brown, and other marginalized residents and visitors,” it states.

“This dynamic encouraged informal surveillance practices that disproportionately targeted people of color and contributed to patterns of exclusion under the guise of public safety.”

Those burglarized or as sometimes happens raped and murdered in their home can be regarded as necessary sacrifices in the noble cause of combatting patterns of exclusion.

Transsexual Bully Out-Grinches Grinch

Christmas is like the rest of the year in that it is a time for transsexual bullies to remind everyone else that under moonbattery they are at the top of the pecking order. Christmas cards must meet with their approval. This one didn’t:

British supermarket Sainsbury’s is frantically pulling a humorous Christmas card from its shelves after a single woke campaigner branded it “transphobic”.

The moonbat martinet is one Sophie Molly.

Molly, a transgender ‘journalist,’ whinged on BlueCry after spotting the card at a branch of the supermarket in Aberdeen.

“Please do better Sainsbury’s,” snarled Molly, who then complained to Pink News that the card “belittles the identity of trans and non-binary people.”

The obsequious reaction was what we have come to expect.

Jennie Rutter, the creative director of the card’s publisher Emotional Rescue, groveled to Pink News:

“It was in no way our intention to cause anyone in the trans community offence. We will remove this design from our range immediately.”

The illustration was created by Paper Salad, whose operations director Jack Wilson apologized and whimpered:

“We have removed the design from sale and destroyed all stock with immediate effect.”

Devout reverence for kooks who pretend to be members of the opposite sex must be rigidly maintained in all corners of life.

A Law-Breaker New York Liberals Are Eager to Punish

He promises to close Riker’s Island, but even the pro-criminal Zohrah Mamdani had better keep a few jail cells available, so that his fellow liberals have a place to throw people like 67-year-old Charles Foehner, soon to begin serving a 4-year sentence.

The New York Post reports:

While there are many violent criminals with rap sheets the length of a CVS receipt walking our streets, Queens DA Melinda Katz decided to throw the book at this senior citizen, after he pleaded guilty to owning unlicensed guns.

This regular, conscientious guy came to the attention of the authorities after he came back from the store to find…

…an unhinged man banging on the door of his building. It was Cody Gonzalez, who then menacingly approached Foehner, demanding a cigarette and his phone.

His neighborhood having gone to hell like most of New York City, Foehner had taken to carrying a revolver to defend his life from the sociopathic scum that rules the streets.

“He kept coming closer and clearly he was going to attack me.” Foehner said he pulled out his gun and pointed it at the ground. But Gonzalez didn’t stop. He motioned toward Foehner’s neck with an object and the senior’s instincts kicked in. Foehner shot the man dead. The ordeal was caught on security camera. …

He called 911 and cooperated with authorities.

It isn’t hard to discern the good guy from the bad guy.

Gonzalez had at least 15 priors dating back to 2004 and a history of mental illness. Conversely, Foehner had no criminal history. But he is a lifelong gun enthusiast and a doomsday prepper, who had amassed a stockpile of approximately 26 weapons that the police found. Only a few were licensed.

Licensing requirements in New York, where the Second Amendment is not respected, are punitively onerous.

Even NYC authorities had to admit that shooting Gonzalez was justified…

…but the DA threw the book at him for criminal weapons possession.

For context, consider the case of David Mazariegos…

…who beat Nicola Tanzi to death in October after he kindly held a door open for him in the subway. Despite having two open felony cases, Mazariegos was given a taxpayer-funded art “diversion” program for repeat criminals.

Foehner is not sure he will survive his incarceration. His wife gets punished too:

Foehner’s Social Security benefits will stop while he’s in jail, and his wife of 20 years was just laid off from her job at a publishing company after 12 years.

His only hope is a pardon from Kathy Hochul. Fat chance. But maybe she’ll let him get euthanized.

Students Learn About Sexual Depravity but Not How to Read or Do Math

No wonder kids are not learning to read or do math. There is only so much time in a school day, and public schools have other priorities.

San Diego Unified School District teaches young children about dozens of novel sexual orientations and gender identities, justifying the lessons as age-appropriate because kids “as early as kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades” are “[n]ame-calling and using anti-gay and anti-trans slurs,” according to a report by parents’ rights group Defending Education.

Normally kindergarteners would have no idea what it means to call someone “gay,” other than that it’s bad. Teachers are seeing to that, with help from child-focused LGBT activists.

“At a very young age, children have already been introduced to information about LGBTQIA+ people, which is often based on misinformation and negative stereotypes,” says the FAQ guide for educators and families from the district’s Equity and Belonging website, which uses LGBTQ activist materials.

These materials include slides defining nine different genders and 28 sexual orientations. You can’t expect little kids to fit all that in their heads and still have room for multiplication tables.

Meanwhile, as reported last May by the Manhattan Institute:

For over 50 years, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), the Nation’s Report Card, has measured student achievement in reading and math across the United States. The recently released 2024 results confirm a long-term crisis in education, with student performance stagnating or declining despite decades of federal spending and education reform initiatives.

The standard Democrat solution of throwing other people’s money at the problem is not helping:

Even as national per-pupil spending has exceeded $17,000 on average per student, reading proficiency has remained unchanged, and math scores are at their lowest in two decades. …

Student proficiency levels have stagnated or declined since the early 1990s, with fourth- and eighth-grade reading proficiency at an average of 30%–31%. Math proficiency for both grades peaked in 2013 (42% for fourth grade and 35% for eighth grade) but has declined to 39% (fourth grade) and 28% (eighth grade).

Social engineers are striving to create a generation of depraved left-wing idiots certain to vote for Democrats. This will cancel the future unless control of education can be wrested away from moonbats.

Euthanasia in New York

As goes Canada, so will follow the USA under Democrat rule. Government-sanctioned euthanasia demonstrates Canadian moonbattery at its most alarming. Last year it killed 16,499 Canadians, presumably mostly useless eaters. Death by chemical drowning may be offered in Canada as therapy for such ills as poverty, mental illness, and needing a wheelchair lift. Across the Niagara River, deep blue New York’s Governor Kathy Hochul hurries along behind.

The New York Post reports:

Hochul announced Wednesday she’ll sign a controversial doctor-assisted suicide bill…

Many religious leaders and disability advocates quickly condemned Hochul’s decision to approve the Medical Aid in Dying Act, while the governor cast it as civil rights issue on par with gay marriage.

In terms of long-term destructiveness, Hochul’s comparison is apt.

Her spin reads like black comedy:

“The Medical Aid in Dying Act will afford terminally ill New Yorkers the right to spend their final days not under sterile hospital lights but with sunlight streaming through their bedroom window,” Hochul wrote in a Times Union op-ed outlining her decision.

“The right to spend their final days not hearing the droning hum of hospital machines but instead the laughter of their grandkids echoing in the next room.”

Sounds delightful.

As for actual consequences,

When enacted, the law will put oversight of literal life-and-death decisions under the state’s Department of Health – an agency that presided over a scandal-plagued Medicaid homecare program and went along with former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s disastrous COVID nursing home order.

The Democrat Cuomo Administration killed thousands of nursing home residents by exposing them to Covid. These are not people you want in charge of whether you live or die.
