The City of Angels? More like the City of Rats.

From the Yelp Infestation Index:

Los Angeles earned the unenviable title of America’s #1 rodent hotspot, with more Yelp searches for rodent services than any other city.

Taking #2 in the rodent rankings is San Francisco… New York City lands at #3, which is hardly surprising…

No, it sure isn’t.

These findings help explain how vermin get elected to rule over jurisdictions like Los Angeles, where the mayor is an actual communist, and San Francisco, where Gavin Newsom and Willie Brown have been mayor. Democrats must be registering rats to vote. The strategy should work well for Islamocommunist Zohran Mamdani, who has been endorsed for mayor of New York by rats like Hakeem Jeffries and Kathy Hochul.

If rats are more prevalent where ultraleft politics prevail, it could be because they thrive on filth and decay, both of which are inevitable products of moonbattery.

Wrist Slap, No Deportation for African Who Raped Swedish Child

The moonbats presiding over the death of Europe go to absurd lengths to side with imported Africans against the women and children they rape. The case of an Eritrean refugee convicted of raping 16-year-old Meya Åberg in Sweden is typical:

Yazied Mohamed allegedly sexually assaulted the teenager on Sept. 1, 2024, while she was walking home from her shift at McDonald’s after missing the bus, according to La Derecha Diario.

For this contribution to Sweden’s multicultural tapestry, the colonist received the customary wrist slap.

Mohamed was sentenced to three years in prison, but the Alto Norrland Court of Appeals reportedly ruled the rape “did not last long enough” to be classified as an “exceptionally serious crime,” so it did not necessitate deportation.

Nothing exceptionally serious about raping children if migrants do it. Just ask the UN:

The court was referring to a United Nations (UN) 1951 rule on the status of refugees, which states that Mohamed and other refugees have their status protected except in extreme cases. The court ruled there was no current threat to public order, and Mohamed will stay in Sweden following his sentence…

If Mohamed were to receive the sentence he has coming, there would be nothing to deport but his ashes.

Europe has seen a steady flow of similar stories, where some migrants receive minor punishments after sexually assaulting women and girls.

A 2018 report from a Swedish public broadcaster found that 58% of all rapes or attempted rapes in Sweden were committed by foreigners.

What a society tolerates, a society deserves. But Meya Åberg doesn’t deserve it.

Yet archeologists centuries in the future will be able to find out by examining their bones, because biological facts are impervious to moonbat ideology — although freedom of speech is not, as Emanuel Brünisholz of Switzerland found out the hard way:

Brünisholz is reportedly about to start a 10-day prison stint due to his voicing skepticism about claims that skeletons are transgender.

Liberals probably believe skeletons can be polysexual too — a scary thought right before Halloween.

In 2022, he responded to a Facebook post by Swiss National Council member Andreas Glarner on the controversy. …

The wind-instrument repairman thought that such claims were unfounded and posted a comment that said, “If you dig up LGBTQI people after 200 years, you’ll only find men and women based on their skeletons. Everything else is a mental illness promoted through the curriculum.”

For this factual observation, Brünisholz was charged with “hate speech” and “public belittling” offending legally favored sexual deviants.

He was convicted and fined 500 Swiss Francs.

Brünisholz commendably refused to pay on principle, so he will serve time as a political prisoner in a supposedly free country.

Profiles in Gerontocracy: Eleanor Holmes Norton

How senile can moonbats get before even other Democrats acknowledge they are unfit to rule over us? Joe Biden gave us an idea. So does DC’s congressional delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton:

Norton, 88, was duped by multiple suspects Thursday who went to her Washington, DC, home claiming to be HVAC workers, according to an internal police report obtained by NBC News4.

The swindlers charged $4,362 to the Democratic congresswoman’s credit card without performing any work.

If that’s how easily she is parted from her own money, imagine how easily she would be parted from ours.

Norton’s “caretaker/power of attorney was not at residence” at the time the group showed up, which was just after 3:30 p.m., the report states, noting that it was Norton’s “caretaker” who called DC police after noticing the unscheduled arrival at the congresswoman’s home.

You can see why she needs a caretaker. According to the police report, the 88-year-old Democrat suffers from dementia.

The congresswoman is described as being “unable to function independently,” leaning on aides, close friends and family members for help, the [New York Times] reported, noting that she rarely attends House Oversight Committee meetings and appears at times not to recognize people she has known for years.

And yet:

Norton (D-DC) told Axios last month that she has no plans to leave Congress despite the mounting concerns about her mental acuity.

“Of course,” she responded, when asked if she was running for re-election.

Anyone doubt she will win in DC?

Good thing she can’t vote on the final passage of bills. Unfortunately, the moment Democrats have the leverage to push it through, they will make the District of Columbia a state, as supported by Joe Biden. Eleanor Holmes Norton will become a regular congressmember, and two more of similar quality will be senators.

But now that Trump is building a privately funded ballroom in the remote East Wing, they have discovered a reverence for American heritage so intense that altering the White House even to make improvements sends them into a hebephrenic rage. In response to their newfound patriotism, the Trump Administration has released a timeline celebrating the history of the White House.

The White House website as of Thursday includes a “major events timeline” of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., stretching back to 1791, when plans for the iconic building were first mapped out. The timeline includes a series of benchmarks such as the addition of the north portico from 1829 to 1830, and the addition of the Oval Office in 1909 under the Taft administration and the “total reconstruction” of the White House interior under the Truman administration.
