Maine Governor Janet Mills shouldn’t take it too hard that Trump kicks her in the pants and her constituents boo her off the stage. At least the local NBC affiliate joins her on board the LGBT agenda. They even have a drag queen doing the weather:

Moonbattery is a totalitarian ideology. There is to be no escape from it anywhere. Even the weather report is an opportunity to socially engineer by mainstreaming depravity.

Mills was in her hometown of Farmington on Saturday to announce the winners of Maine’s annual moose hunt permit lottery…

The booing began as Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Commissioner Judy Camuso introduced the Democratic governor to the podium to start reading off names of the more than 4,000 hunters who will have the chance to hunt moose during the 2025 season that begins in September.

The audience was less focused on moose hunting than on her policy of subjecting girls to injury and ruining their sports.

“We have daughters!” objected a constituent. When Mills retorted that she has five daughters (actually stepdaughters), she was challenged to stand up for them. But that would mean standing up to the Alphabet People, who perch triumphantly at the apex of the Cultural Marxist pyramid of phony oppression and therefore must not be challenged.

This isn’t her first smackdown recently. Mills probably couldn’t sit for a week after the kick in the pants Trump gave her at a Governors Working Session for defying his executive order that protects female sports.

BBC Panics Over Warm Weather

As it declines under leftist rule, Britain has its share of problems these days, but at least excessive heat isn’t one of them — unless you believe the BBC:

A temperature of 33.2C was recorded on Saturday afternoon in Charlwood, near Gatwick, beating the previous 2025 record set earlier this week.

33.2°C is less than 92°F. Here in Phoenix, we would call that a pleasant day in autumn.

But at least their anchor seems to understand that only women get pregnant. Maybe there is hope for the BBC yet.

Bloomberg Buys Bureaucrats to Impose Green Lunacy

They say personnel is policy. Ultramoonbat Michael Bloomberg demonstrates the principle:

The New York University State Energy & Environmental Impact Center’s fellowship—which Bloomberg’s eponymous philanthropic nonprofit provided two seed grants worth $5.6 million in 2017—has long placed and paid the salaries of officials in at least 10 state attorney general offices nationwide. Over the past two years, internal emails obtained by the Free Beacon show, the program has expanded to state-level public service commissions, often-overlooked agencies that regulate utility companies and permit energy infrastructure like pipelines and power plants. The commissions also implement state renewable energy standards that force power providers to generate electricity through pricier green sources.

Bloomberg might have been inspired by his fellow leftist zillionaire George Soros, who purchased higher crime rates throughout the country by installing left-wing district attorneys who side with criminals against their victims.

The center’s work in attorney general offices, where Bloomberg-funded fellows have participated in litigation accusing the fossil fuel industry of causing global warming, has prompted conflict-of-interest concerns over the use of private funding to drive public lawsuits. Its work in state regulatory agencies, on the other hand, is a new development—one that suggests the center and its funders seek to play a more active role pushing green energy development at the local level.

The purpose is to deprive us of electricity on behalf of their deranged ideology. But with a net worth of $106 billion, Bloomberg himself will stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Look who Bloomberg’s fellowship managed to place on the Louisiana Public Service Commission:

Rula Thabata, a DEI activist, former policy fellow at a Muslim advocacy group, and recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. A job posting for the role echoed the 2023 contract, stating that the [NYU] fellow would be sponsored by the NYU impact center and handle regulatory matters related to the “clean energy future, climate change, [and] energy justice.”

“Energy justice” means only plutocrats like Bloomberg can afford energy.

Nothing could be sicker, following the nightmarish terror atrocities of October 7, than theatrically expressing support for those who inflicted it. Yet this story gets even more twisted:

Just as no one hates whites more than white liberals, no one hates Jews like a self-hating Jew.

Nixon noted Mozes … was “partially inspired” to join the protest because she’s the grand-daughter of Holocaust survivors.

Roadkill Memorials

Considering the evil their ideology allows to blossom, you might imagine liberals have hearts of stone, but they can be very sympathetic. Unfortunately, their sympathy is strangely misplaced. They won’t shed a tear for the 73 million children killed each year by abortion. But they do memorialize roadkill:

In her “Roadside Memorial Project,” the Kentucky-based artist and activist L. A. Watson has been creating reflective silhouettes of animals, which she installs among the grass in the verges of roads in her home state wherever an animal of that species has been run over. They function both as a warning sign to drivers and as a memorial to the dead individual in question. …

In a similar project, the eco-artist Brian D. Collier builds roadside shrines for animals, complete with the date of death and a color picture of the deceased, akin to the ones we sometimes see erected along the road for people who have lost their lives in traffic accidents.

Bram Koese of Holland goes farther, having enlisted 25 assistants to help out in his roadkill memorial activities:

Together they assembled not one but 642 roadside shrines. … Each cross would come to represent a separate roadkill exactly at the spot where it had taken place. The name of the species and the date of its demise were stenciled on the crossbeam, and a picture of the live animal was placed next to a QR code that led to the record on the Observation International website, where a photo of the animal in its flattened state could be viewed.

Just in case Dutch motorists cannot find a better use for their time.

If anyone tried doing the same for aborted children in the Netherlands, they might be thrown in prison.
