UN’s IPCC Admits Key Global Warming Assumptions Are Implausible

Amsterdam banned advertising for meat and fossil fuels just in time. The global warming hoax is running out of steam. Even the UN’s IPCC admits it is founded on balderdash.

Via the Daily Sceptic:

Activist climate scientists, journalists and Net Zero-obsessed politicians are in shock following an official admission from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that a set of key assumptions promoting a climate ‘crisis’ since 2011 are “implausible”. The notorious set of always-improbable RCP8.5 ‘pathway’ assumptions which fed into computer models trying to measure an unmeasurable climate are no more. Since around 2011, these ‘business as usual’ assumptions have produced outlandish claims of future climate catastrophe which have been lapped up by lap dog journalists and politicians. The influential writer Roger Pielke Jr. called RCP8.5’s demise, “the most significant development in climate research in decades”.

Yet as Stephen Green notes, the revelation that the planet is not doomed after all has gone virtually unreported. This is because the liberal media has been exaggerating the IPCC’s implausible assumptions to whip up hysteria among the gullible.

The Climate Cult is a house of cards constructed on loose sand that has just been dug away from beneath it.

Not that the media will stop shouting hysterical lies. But ever few people will listen to them.

Amsterdam Bans Advertising for Meat and Fossil Fuels

The global warming hoax is still alive and well in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, public advertising for meat and the fossil fuels that allow modern civilization to function has been banned in the name of propitiating left-wing weather gods.

Via Daily Caller:

The ban results from efforts by Anke Bakker, Amsterdam group leader for the Party for the Animals, the BBC reported. GreenLeft, another Dutch political party, also supported the legislation, according to CBS News.

The most militantly insane moonbats are calling the shots.

Fish product, air travel, and cruises are also affected.

Elsewhere in Holland,

The Hague, another Dutch city, became the first city worldwide to ban all advertisements for oil and gas as well as aviation and cruise ships, encouraged by a call for such bans by the U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, according to The Guardian.

The Dutch city of Haarlem became the first to ban all meat advertisements from spaces available to the public, The Guardian separately reported.

After banning advertising fails to perfect the weather, leftists will inevitably move on to banning meat and fuel themselves. The Dutch of the future will live on substandard diets as they shiver in the dark. The weather will remain unaffected.

Chicago Alderman Wants Walgreens to Face Charges for Having to Close Stores

It isn’t easy to run a business where moonbattery-induced decay has taken hold. Twitchy reports on some of Walgreens’ trials and travails:

Back in 2024, Walgreens announced that it was closing a fourth location in Boston in a high-crime area. Rep. Ayanna Pressley at the time called pharmacy closings “disruptive, life-threatening acts of racial and economic discrimination.” In 2025 in San Francisco, a Walgreens store manager was convicted of assaulting a shoplifter who stole shampoo. Just this January, a Senate candidate running as a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation to unseat Ed Markey expressed his desire for the government to seize the top 100 corporations, including CVS and Walgreens, and make them public property.

In Chicago, Democrat Alderman William Hall wants Walgreens to face charges for having to close stores due to rampant shoplifting by his constituents:

If Democrats prevail, running a business will be illegal. But crime won’t be.

Blue State Taxman Comes After Those Trying to Escape

You can check out of Hotel California any time you like — but the taxman might never let you leave.

From the Daily Mail:

Americans moving out of California say state bureaucrats are demanding they explain why they left, or risk being taxed as residents.

Some have received letters demanding various evidence of their departure…

Last year, California collected about $275 billion in personal income, sales and corporate taxes. But that does not suffice when Newsom et al. are paying indefinitely for bridges to nowhere, trains to nowhere, 911 emergency lines to nowhere, et cetera.

Officials evaluate a taxpayer’s ‘closest connections’ to determine residency, looking at where they spend their time, where they own or rent property and where their financial and personal ties are strongest. …

Maintaining significant ties to California – even after a move – can trigger further scrutiny.

New York is even worse:

Under the domicile test, officials assess where a person’s closest personal and professional ties are located.

If those ties remain in New York, the state can still treat someone as a resident even if their primary home is elsewhere…

At this point it would be advisable for those who do not wish to be looted to avoid setting foot in California, New York, or anywhere else Democrats have consolidated power.

Man Ejected From Ladies’ Restroom Sues

Moonbattery-induced civilizational decline has reached such an extreme that when a sexually warped man bullies his way into the ladies’ restroom, instead of being left black and blue as in any other time, he is likely to be showered with cash.

The obsequiously LGBT-compliant Daily Mail reports:

A non-binary actor has filed a lawsuit against a popular New York City hotel after a security guard allegedly accosted [him], before questioning [his] presence and ‘forcibly removing’ [him] from a women’s restroom.

Given the venue, a jury is likely to award him $millions.

Wesley Han, 30, filed the complaint against the SoHo Grand Hotel on Wednesday, alleging that the establishment was discriminatory, violated [his] civil rights and acted negligently, according to the suit.

The term “civil rights” now means the license of those favored by the liberal establishment to disrespect the rest of us.

‘Wesley was treated as though [he] were dangerous, predatory, or sexually deviant simply for using the restroom that corresponded with [his] gender expression and presentation that evening,’ the lawsuit said.

If this creepazoid is not sexually deviant, guess who is? That’s right: normal people.

Gavin Newsom’s 911 Emergency Line to Nowhere

Complementing Gavin Newsom’s extravagantly expensive Bridge to Nowhere and his still more extravagantly expensive Train to Nowhere, Californians now have a 911 Emergency Line to Nowhere.

Via City Journal:

During his first year in office, the governor confidently projected that he would replace the state’s emergency call system within three years, a goal that officials previously estimated would cost $132 million. But nearly seven years later, the state has spent more than $450 million on a regionalized “Next Generation” digital system that suffered such appalling failures and disruptions during its initial rollout that the Newsom administration scrapped it entirely.

Blackouts went on for as long as 12 hours.

Meantime, the old system is hanging on by a thread—and it’s only a matter of time, some believe, before it goes dark.

Now Newsom is starting over. The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services estimates it will take until 2030 to get the next attempt up and running. However,

Nobody believes that the new system will be completed by 2030. “They said that ten years ago,” one dispatcher told us.

Meanwhile, we hear stories like this:

In Oakland, the old system nearly left a police officer dead. In 2019, an off-duty Oakland cop named Danny Chor approached a woman who was vandalizing cars. During the confrontation, the woman stabbed him in the neck. Chor made multiple calls to 911 but could not connect. A nearby truck operator tried to help, but his call also failed. The bystander then called his employer, who was able to connect to the dispatchers directly. First responders brought Chor to the hospital in the back of a patrol car, fearing that he would not survive if they waited for the ambulance.

Now for the good news. The same presumably well-connected contractors who made a fortune creating the failed Next Gen system will continue to rake in taxpayer money on the next attempt. True, California will eventually run out of other people’s money under Newsom’s inept management, but if the liberal establishment manages to install him as President of the USA, he won’t have that problem, because he can always print more.
