Charlie Kirk, Trump, and Jesus Forbidden to Children as Role Models

There are few higher honors than to be forbidden to children as a role model by the moonbats who dominate public schools even in places like rural Kansas.

KWCH reports from Eureka:

The controversy began in late October with a Marshall Elementary School guidance counselor assigning sixth-grade students to an assignment called “Find Your Voice” in which students were instructed to identify their role models. A student designated as “a student-led teacher” called out classmates and wrote responses on a board.

Evidently the 11–12-year-olds were not expected to find their voices so much as echo the voices of their woke indoctrinators.

The American Center for Law & Justice explains what happened:

“When a student identified Charlie Kirk as a role model, [the guidance counselor] got very uncomfortable and refused to allow this name to be written on the board, yelling that he was “not a hero,” and that he was not a role model. The student teacher had already started writing Charlie Kirk’s name on the board, and was ordered by [the guidance counselor] to remove it. When another student selected President Donald J. Trump as a role model, [the guidance counselor] reiterated her prohibition even more angrily, stating that students could not write political or religious figures on the board, and in fact excluded political and religious topics altogether. However, [the guidance counselor] permitted other controversial figures to be listed as heroes.”

No doubt Stalin and Satan would receive exceptions.

Not Jesus Christ though:

12 News spoke with a Eureka parent of a sixth-grade student who recalled that another student wrote “Jesus,” and that this also was not allowed as part of the role-model-naming activity.

Disgruntled children were told to complain to teachers or the principal rather than their parents.

University Researcher Calls for Assassination of Conservatives

A guy calling himself Mara Maughan at the University of Washington gives an idea of the insane and malevolent rot that has been festering inside our lavishly subsidized institutions of higher learning.

Via Fox News:

Maughan, who uses she/they pronouns according to her [sic] bio on the UW Fuller Labs website, is labeled as an RSE1 under the Department of Microbiology’s “research and lab staff.”

“May there be tyler robinsons for you all,” Maughan posted on Facebook in a comment directed at Educational Freedom Institute Executive Director Corey DeAngelis.

Maughan “appears to identify as transgender,” which makes his bloodthirsty statement all the more alarming, in light of the names piling up in the Transsexual Violence Hall of Horrors.

As DeAngelis observes:

“This kind of violent rhetoric from Mara Maughan and far too many others on the left — wishing for assassins to target conservatives like me and my family — absolutely concerns me, as it not only normalizes political violence but fuels a dangerous environment where radical ideologies in academia and beyond threaten our freedoms and safety without accountability.”

The assassination of Charlie Kirk for being a decent man who civilly argued back against moonbattery did not alert liberals to pull back from the abyss. On the contrary, it has inspired some of them to rush forward.

DEI Forced Harvard to Teach Remedial Math

Harvard is not cheap. Attending as an undergraduate costs $86,926 per year. On top of that, Harvard vacuums up staggering sums of taxpayer money, despite receiving $billions per year in donations and sitting on an endowment of $57 billion. But at least the students are learning something besides LGBTism, Critical Race Theory, and how to hate America.

The New York Post reported last spring:

The school’s math department is providing a new scaled-back math class for freshmen who are apparently arriving on campus lacking “foundational skills” in high school math basics like geometry and algebra.

Why is it that students at America’s most prestigious university need to take high school level math courses? DEI is why.

Had these students studied for the SATs — which, according to the College Board website, tests them on four “areas of math that play the biggest role in college and career success: algebra, advanced math, problem solving . . . and geometry” — they wouldn’t need Math MA.

Math MA is what they call the remedial course.

Instead, many of them probably bombed on the math SAT or skipped the whole thing altogether, taking advantage of the fact that Harvard scrapped the standardized testing requirement during the pandemic.

As with a lot of moonbattery that was pushed through on the pretext of Covid, the lack of an SAT requirement outlived the virus.

Harvard was capitulating to the pressure of those who insisted standardized testing is a vestige of racism and argued that scrapping the process altogether would advance equity.

You don’t need to know math if you claim membership in an identity group lucky enough to be “marginalized.”

You probably don’t need to pay the full tuition either. No doubt taxpayers end up picking up much of the tab for DEI students.

Harvard hauls in its mountains of money by banking on its prestige — which it has been frittering away for the sake of moonbattery. The school was forced into a course correction:

To Harvard’s credit, the school announced in April last year that it is finally bringing back standardized testing requirements for the class of 2031.

However,

While Harvard has seen the light, elite colleges like Columbia, Princeton, Vanderbilt and Duke are still clinging to their test-optional policies.

Let’s hope these other pricey schools offer remedial math too.

Students Learn About Sexual Depravity but Not How to Read or Do Math

No wonder kids are not learning to read or do math. There is only so much time in a school day, and public schools have other priorities.

Via Just the News:

San Diego Unified School District teaches young children about dozens of novel sexual orientations and gender identities, justifying the lessons as age-appropriate because kids “as early as kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades” are “[n]ame-calling and using anti-gay and anti-trans slurs,” according to a report by parents’ rights group Defending Education.

Normally kindergarteners would have no idea what it means to call someone “gay,” other than that it’s bad. Teachers are seeing to that, with help from child-focused LGBT activists.

“At a very young age, children have already been introduced to information about LGBTQIA+ people, which is often based on misinformation and negative stereotypes,” says the FAQ guide for educators and families from the district’s Equity and Belonging website, which uses LGBTQ activist materials.

These materials include slides defining nine different genders and 28 sexual orientations. You can’t expect little kids to fit all that in their heads and still have room for multiplication tables.

Meanwhile, as reported last May by the Manhattan Institute:

For over 50 years, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), the Nation’s Report Card, has measured student achievement in reading and math across the United States. The recently released 2024 results confirm a long-term crisis in education, with student performance stagnating or declining despite decades of federal spending and education reform initiatives.

The standard Democrat solution of throwing other people’s money at the problem is not helping:

Even as national per-pupil spending has exceeded $17,000 on average per student, reading proficiency has remained unchanged, and math scores are at their lowest in two decades. …

Student proficiency levels have stagnated or declined since the early 1990s, with fourth- and eighth-grade reading proficiency at an average of 30%–31%. Math proficiency for both grades peaked in 2013 (42% for fourth grade and 35% for eighth grade) but has declined to 39% (fourth grade) and 28% (eighth grade).

Social engineers are striving to create a generation of depraved left-wing idiots certain to vote for Democrats. This will cancel the future unless control of education can be wrested away from moonbats.

National Education Association Promotes Teaching Alien Language

As we go about our daily lives, termites keep busy in the darkness, eating away at the foundations of our homes until they have been destroyed from within and are ready to collapse. Similar work is performed by teachers unions.

The New York Post reports on the “neopronouns” and “xeopronouns” the National Education Association pushed at a recent indoctrination session entitled “Advancing LGBTQ+ Justice”:

Neopronouns are “new” “pronouns” such as “xe/xem/xyr,” and other letters randomly shoved together.

Xeopronouns are for “conceptual identities” such as “cat/cats/catself.”

Because if a boy can identify as a girl, a girl can identify as a cat.

The alien language that the NEA’s 3 million members are teaching kids to speak may soon feature a different name for the USA:

The NEA is not entirely sure this whole “America” thing is going to stick, so they refer to it as “what we know as the United States of America” and “what we now call the United States of America” in multiple slides.

Maybe public school teachers will start referring to our country as “Turtle Island,” to keep pace with their comrades in Turtle Island Liberation Front.

Meanwhile,

The latest National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as the nation’s report card, showed students have not recovered to pre-pandemic levels in math, reading and science.

Perhaps less time spent parsing the differences among “gender fluid,” “genderqueer” and “agender,” as one NEA slide attempted, is in order.

Education is no longer about education. It has been subverted by moonbats, so it is about moonbattery.

To get an idea of who is molding the next generation, let’s have another look at Becky Pringle, president of our largest teachers union:

Speaking Well of ICE in Minnesota High School Could Result in Suspension

In moonbat-ruled Minnesota, speaking positively about the heroes who defend our country from foreign invasion is not just frowned upon — it is forbidden.

Via Post Millennial:

Edina High School principal Paul Paetzel informed parents in an email that the school would impose discipline for language in support of ICE.

Edina is a suburb of the Somalian colony Minneapolis.

The email proclaims that “referencing ICE in ways that cause fear or humiliation is a serious offense.” To cause “fear or humiliation” is to be viewed as offensive by foreign invaders who are championed by Democrats for demographic reasons.

Proclaims Paetzel:

“If this type of behavior occurs, we will honor the discipline policy and move forward with consequences up to and including suspension.”

Good thing they don’t have gulags yet in Minnesota or students who have anything nice to say about ICE would really be in trouble.

Imagine what these kids are being taught in class regarding their nation’s right to preserve itself.

For context:

On Friday, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin announced that ICE had carried out more than 400 arrests since the start of Operation Metro Surge, which included “pedophiles, rapists, and violent thugs.”

No one needs to wonder whose side liberal authorities are on.

As McLaughlin observes,

“Tim Walz and Jacob Frey failed to protect the people of Minnesota. They let these monsters and child predators roam free. Thanks to our brave law enforcement, Minnesota is safer with these thugs off their streets. Instead of thanking our law enforcement for removing criminals from their communities, Tim Walz and Jacob Frey continue to demonize our brave law enforcement.”

To dispute this demonization is thoughtcrime.

Originally Christian Amherst Pushes Blasphemy and Depravity

Originally Christian colleges indicate what is at stake when moonbattery is allowed to infiltrate and subvert institutions. Amherst College is a case in point.

Via Washington Free Beacon:

Amherst College was founded over two centuries ago to prepare young Christian men for the ministry. Today, however, the prestigious college has become a hotbed of administratively sanctioned sex performances and “sexual skills” programs, with a focus on “queer” and transgender students and on free-sex practices such as polyamory.

School-sanctioned sex events are graphic. They don’t have much to do with education, but plenty to do with Christianity when they are blasphemous.

Every year, first-year students are instructed, as a part of orientation, to attend an event—dubbed “Voices of the Class”—in which they are familiarized with Amherst’s “code of conduct” through a theatrical performance…

The event takes place in Johnson Chapel, which Amherst calls its “most important building,” and is used for worship services…

Here’s how the event unfolded last August 31:

On the chapel’s chancel, students performed mock sex acts including oral sex, masturbation, and group sex. A young woman bent over while another student pretended to penetrate her from behind.

Even if students prepare the script, the educrats running Amherst are responsible:

The school funds the performance, and Amherst administrators work closely with the student performers, offering feedback and approving the script.

Let’s see if we can get some feedback from this originally Christian school’s chaplain:

The Center for Religious and Spiritual life—which has a Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and interfaith and humanist chaplain—declined to comment on the use of Johnson Chapel for the performance. Amherst does not have a Christian chaplain.

The desecration of Johnson Chapel is only the beginning of the perverted sexual indoctrination students are subjected to. Click through for more.

Blasphemy and depraved social engineering don’t come cheap at Amherst, where tuition plus room and board come to over $93,000.

Elsewhere in Massachusetts, Harvard was also founded for the purpose of educating clergy. All Ivy League schools were established by Christians.

What they have done to Christian schools, leftists are in the process of inflicting on churches. See the United Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican, and even Catholic churches for alarming examples.
