Gavin Newsom Wastes Money to Save Money

DOGE was such a great idea that even California’s moonbat governor Gavin Newsom is trying to imitate it. As usual, Newsom is failing.

The New York Post reports:

Newsom — who signed an executive order to cut spending in the state, à la Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency is hitting roadblocks with the plan amid a multibillion-dollar state budget deficit.

The erstwhile Golden State handed Boston Consulting Group as much as $20 million to help it trim $2 billion in spending — a seemingly easy task amid the blizzard of waste that characterizes California under Democrat rule.

But the group — which hired former Newsom cabinet Secretary and Department of Finance Director Ana J. Matosantos — is now expected to only find $810 million in savings, according to legislative analysts.

That number may even go down later in May, analysts added, as indicated by the Newsom administration.

Regarding cuts that actually get made, expect the savings to go down to zero — or rather, to negative $20 million, after the firm has been paid.

Lawyers are supposed to uphold the law. But under liberal rule, this does not apply to laws that impede Democrat objectives. In Colorado, lawyers must pledge not to cooperate with federal immigration law enforcement in order to log in to the state’s e-filing system.

By obstructing the enforcement of federal laws intended to defend the country from foreign invasion, Colorado is effectively at war with the United States.

Activist Author of Unsavory Children’s Book Busted for Kiddie Porn

Liberals are exceedingly aggressive about pushing sexual perversion in our faces and trying to bully us into accepting it. This may reflect personal inclinations. Consider moonbat activist Zachary Elisha Robertson of Bellingham, Washington, who was arrested March 10 on felony child pornography charges.

PNW Daily reports:

As of March 29, 2026, Robertson’s self-published children’s book, Norma Normal, remains for sale online. The promotional website also remains active. Robertson published the book in 2020.

It follows a child who “lives naked” in nature.

Robertson is described as a local activist “known for organizing Bellingham’s chapter of the World Naked Bike Ride.”

He says the kiddie porn was research for his unsavory book. However:

Robertson’s wife called police after coming home and finding him on the couch with a laptop open and a blanket over his lap. She reported seeing movement beneath the blanket and believed he was touching himself. She confronted him. Robertson quickly closed the laptop and tried to hide it. She opened it and found thumbnail images, including one larger image showing multiple fully nude girls she estimated were between 7 and 10 years old.

What’s the problem? Love is love, we are told.

Liberal White Women Block Black Nightclub

No one is safe from liberal white women — not even the blacks they piously worship.

The Daily Mail reports:

A black Kansas City businessman has been forced to scrap his plans to open a new nightclub after a local football fan club comprised mainly of liberal white women complained that the name was ‘racist.’

By “football,” they mean “soccer.”

Casio McCombs said this week he was ‘deeply disappointed’ that his plans to open a club named Sundown HiFi were halted due to outcry from KC Blue Crew, a supporters club for women’s soccer team KC Current.

Here’s why the word “sundown” has been struck from the Newspeak Dictionary and is no longer permissible, despite McCombs regarding it as essential to the project:

The ‘sundown’ name was deemed by the group to be a reference to a ‘sundown town’, a 19th Century term for all-white communities that would practice racial segregation and terrorize any black people unfortunate enough to find themselves on its streets after dark.

Liberals live in an alternative world based on a sinister version of the century before last.

The nightclub was set to be opened on a development site named Current Landing located next to the CPKC Stadium, leading the women’s group to issue a statement arguing the ‘sundown’ name would tarnish the sports area. …

In the KC Blue Crew statement calling for the development of the nightclub not to go forward, the group did not note that the SunDown HiFi club was being led by a black businessman.

Of course not. That would draw attention to how absurd they are.

At least 1,400 Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens

Two maniacal moonbats manage to get themselves killed by attacking ICE officers and Democrats will not shut up about them. In contrast, they have nothing to say about Americans killed by the illegal aliens they have let into the country to displace us — and there have been many.

At least 1,411 people have been killed by illegal migrants, nearly all of whom have been killed during the last 25 years, according to a list assembled by a grassroots group that opposes mass migration.

“The reason we put the list out is that a lot of people don’t realize how large the scale actually is — they usually just hear a blurb about the latest [victim],” Bill Gheen, founder of the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) grassroots group, told Breitbart News.

The 1,411 figure is likely the tip of the iceberg, because the illegal alien status of killers cannot always be confirmed. Media and government are often unhelpful in this regard. The government keeps track of how many Americans are killed by cows, by falls from ladders, by lightning, et cetera — but not by migrants, for political reasons.

Democrat Greed Drives Exodus From Blue States

In case anyone didn’t understand, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon explains why even many liberals want out of states run by liberals. Via Realtor.com:

Dimon said that high taxes and a declining quality of life are key factors pushing residents and businesses out of Democratic-led states.

“I tell people everyone’s got to compete, including cities, and for a city to compete, of course it’s quality of life. It’s your subways. It’s your hospitals,” Dimon said. “But it’s also individual taxes, state taxes, corporate taxes, and it drives people out.”

Washington State is a case in point. Via Seattle Red:

Washington lost half a billion dollars in adjusted gross income to out-migration between 2022 and 2023, right as the state’s capital gains tax was being implemented…

The capital gains tax was supposed to be the line. Democrats held it. Then they passed a 9.9 percent income tax on earnings over one million dollars anyway, and the departure announcements started stacking up within hours.

Even woke Starbucks founder Howard Schultz has bailed out for Florida.

Adam Wright, Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Pacific Rim Land, Inc., posted on LinkedIn that the entire revenue projection for the income tax rests on an assumption already collapsing in real time. When high earners leave, Wright noted, they do not just take their tax payments with them. They take businesses, investments, and jobs.

From the Democrat viewpoint, this is not a bug but a feature. By driving out not only the most productive citizens but also opportunities for others to succeed, they can send a jurisdiction into the Democrat Death Spiral, by which ever more liberal government increasingly drives out everyone but welfare-dependent losers likely to vote for ever more liberal government, creating single party rule.

This maelstrom of moonbattery laid waste to our former wealthiest city Detroit. It is currently destroying cities like Chicago and whole states like California and New York.
