Andrew Cuomo’s Threatening Diatribe Against Trump

Enraged by pressure from Trump on local politicians to restore law and order in “anarchist jurisdictions” like New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo jumped the shark:

“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” the Democrat said…

Cuomo has already declared that people who are pro-life, who support the constitutional right of self-defense, or who don’t embrace the LGBT agenda are not welcome in his state. Now we see that not even the President is welcome — despite being a New Yorker.

“He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him.”

Three ways to interpret Cuomo’s remarks are: (1) he is threatening the President with violence, which is a violation of federal law; (2) he is encouraging maniacs to attempt an assassination; or (3) he admits that local authorities are so incapable of maintaining order in New York, they can’t even guarantee the President’s safety, though foreign countries around the world manage to do it.

None of these interpretations are flattering to Andrew Cuomo.

Cuomo demonstrated how Democrats will bring the country together by denouncing the President as “a clown” and “a tabloid cartoon” whose sister is disgraced by him. Yet we are expected to hate Trump for being nasty and divisive.

The governor also claimed Trump’s “negligence” is the reason New York state suffered the highest COVID-19 death toll. The governor’s critics blame his Health Department’s mandate that forbade nursing homes from turning away COVID-19-positive patients, potentially leading to at least 6,500 deaths.

What Cuomo lacks in competence, he makes up for through projection.

Coming Attractions

Hollywood doesn’t produce much of interest anymore, but that’s all right. There will be plenty of exciting entertainment soon if the radical left manages to take power behind Joe Biden:

Starting next January 20, we may acquire new insight into the Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”

Watch Prominent Democrats Call for Violence

The mob has predictably moved on from burning down businesses to murdering those they suspect of resisting their agenda. Local Democrats have allowed the riots to happen. Nationally prominent Democrats and their allies in the media and entertainment industry have incited the riots and have encouraged political violence in general. How did they think it would end?

Here’s how they thought it would end: with them in power and America afraid.

NPR Publishes Defense of Looting

Coercively subsidized NPR gives us more than liberal spin for our tax dollar. It provides validation for the farthest extremes of the lunatic left. Cities throughout the country have been engulfed in riots for months. Meanwhile, NPR effectively validates looting:

Writer Vicky Osterweil’s book, In Defense of Looting, came out on Tuesday. When she finished it, back in April, she wrote (rather presciently) that “a new energy of resistance is building across the country.” Now, as protests and riots continue to grip cities, she argues that looting is a powerful tool to bring about real, lasting change in society. The rioters who smash windows and take items from stores, she says, are engaging in a powerful tactic that questions the justice of “law and order,” and the distribution of property and wealth in an unequal society.

Reportedly, Vicky Osterweil is actually a man, formerly known as Willie Osterweil. Be forewarned that the following excerpts from NPR’s interview with Osterweil offer a disturbing glimpse into an abyss of malign lunacy.

Osterweil starts by defining the word “looting”:

“When I use the word looting, I mean the mass expropriation of property, mass shoplifting during a moment of upheaval or riot. That’s the thing I’m defending.”

Unsurprisingly, even to call looting “looting” is racist:

“Looting is a highly racialized word from its very inception in the English language.”

Here’s why looting is good:

“It tends to be an attack on a business, a commercial space, maybe a government building—taking those things that would otherwise be commodified and controlled and sharing them for free.”

In utopia, we will gather the fancy sneakers and jumbo televisions that grow freely in the fields, and share them benevolently amongst each other.

COVID-19 comes in handy for leftists once again:

“[Looting] gets people what they need for free immediately, which means that they are capable of living and reproducing their lives without having to rely on jobs or a wage—which, during COVID times, is widely unreliable or, particularly in these communities is often not available, or it comes at great risk.”

In contrast, meeting your basic needs by taking part in a violent mob as it loots high-end stores on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile is risk-free.

“[Looting] also attacks the very way in which food and things are distributed. It attacks the idea of property, and it attacks the idea that in order for someone to have a roof over their head or have a meal ticket, they have to work for a boss, in order to buy things that people just like them somewhere else in the world had to make under the same conditions. It points to the way in which that’s unjust. And the reason that the world is organized that way, obviously, is for the profit of the people who own the stores and the factories. So you get to the heart of that property relation, and demonstrate that without police and without state oppression, we can have things for free.”

Working for a living is oppression. Having to pay for your purchases is unjust. Without police oppression, everyone could have everything they want for free, and no one would have to work.

Who would manufacture products and provide services in world where no one has to work? Why would stores restock shelves knowing that the goods would be stolen? Being a left-wing intellectual means never having to think things through that far.

Another reason Osterweil likes the ongoing mayhem is that it is being inflicted by or in the name of blacks. In the “antiracist” scheme, everything boils down to blacks good whites bad:

“Importantly, I think especially when it’s in the context of a Black uprising like the one we’re living through now, it also attacks the history of whiteness and white supremacy. The very basis of property in the U.S. is derived through whiteness and through Black oppression, through the history of slavery and settler domination of the country. Looting strikes at the heart of property, of whiteness and of the police. It gets to the very root of the way those three things are interconnected. And also it provides people with an imaginative sense of freedom and pleasure and helps them imagine a world that could be. And I think that’s a part of it that doesn’t really get talked about—that riots and looting are experienced as sort of joyous and liberatory.”

America, white people, property rights — they are all the same thing, which should be rejected in favor of the liberatory joy that can be experienced by stealing or destroying what belongs to someone else.

Some liberals still understand that looting is wrong. That’s because they are racists who hate the poor. Osterweil explains:

“[T]here’s also another factor, which is anti-Blackness and contempt for poor people who want to live a better life, which looting immediately provides. … It’s just money. It’s just property. It’s not actually hurting any people.”

Actually, in addition to the many lives ruined by the Black Lives Matter riots, a rising number of people have been killed.

How wiping out local businesses makes for a better life beyond the immediate gratification of the stolen goods is left unexplained.

Regarding the small businesses that are destroyed, many of them owned by the minorities who are supposedly being championed by the rioters,

“It’s actually a Republican myth that has, over the last 20 years, really crawled into even leftist discourse: that the small business owner must be respected, that the small business owner creates jobs and is part of the community. But that’s actually a right-wing myth.”

To comply with Osterweil’s ideology, which must be correct or it would not be showcased by NPR, you have to believe that small business owners must not be respected, they do not create jobs, and they are not part of the community.

Osterweil then denounces businesses that cannot recover after being looted and/or burned down, as if failing to reopen could only be interpreted as an act of malice.

The interview reaches a climax with this open endorsement of political violence:

“Ultimately, what nonviolence ends up meaning is that the activist doesn’t do anything that makes them feel violent. And I think getting free is messier than that. We have to be willing to do things that scare us and that we wouldn’t do in normal, ‘peaceful’ times, because we need to get free.”

In the olden days, people who are conspicuously malevolent and insane were locked up in rubber rooms. Now they are provided a megaphone at taxpayer expense so that they can incite other maniacs to riot.

Rand Paul Set Upon by Leftist Mob Near White House

In 2017, a leftist attacked Senator Rand Paul as he mowed his lawn, breaking five of his ribs. But that was just an isolated incident. Now Paul has been attacked again — a block away from the White House at the conclusion of the Republican National Convention. This time it looks like he escaped unharmed, yet the incident was more alarming in its implications. An entire mob came after him, having been weaponized by the liberal establishment through its relentless promotion of Black Lives Matter.

Senator Paul reports on the experience:

“It was horrific….right as we got to the policeman, fortunately or I don’t we would have survived, we got to the policeman and I don’t think the policeman recognized me and as I came closer the crowd was shouting my name and it doubled to 60 and it double again to 120,” Paul described. “I can’t tell you how I’m not sure we would have made it. They were attempting to push the police over to get to me…you’ve seen the pictures of what they do to you. If the police are not there, if you defund the police, if we become Portland, if America becomes Portland, what’s going to happen is people are going to be pummeled and kicked in the head and left senseless on the curb. That would have happened to us I promise you, had we not had the D.C. police to support us…Thank God for the police. Had we not gotten to the police I truly believe that the police saved our lives and we would not be here today or we would be in a hospital today if the police had not been there.”

“We can’t walk down the street safely in D.C. now, that’s how bad it is,” he continued. “I don’t hear Joe Biden or Kamala Harris saying one thing about the violence. This mob is their voters. This is the New Democrat party.”

Do you want to live in a country where opposition politicians are torn limb from limb in the streets? Where the vicious, mindless mob rules? Then by all means vote for the Party of the Mob, because that’s where Democrats are taking us.

Even the most civilized countries have succumbed to the savagery and tyranny of the mob. If it could happen to France in 1789, it could happen to the USA in 2020. By every indication, it is already happening.

Paul wasn’t the only one attacked by politically weaponized savages at the conclusion of the convention. The mob apparently targeted any Republicans it could find.

The campfire has been dwindling. The wolves are closing in. If the Party of the Mob prevails in November, the American Reign of Terror can properly commence.

Maniac Fires on Trump Supporters

Why do you see more Black Lives Matter signs than Thin Blue Line flags? Is it because more people support rioting by militantly racist, explicitly anti-American maniacs than support law enforcement? No, or American civilization would have already collapsed. The real reason is that terrorism from BLM supporters has created a climate of fear. Put out a Black Lives Matter sign and maybe the mob won’t burn your house down. Support the heroes of law enforcement and you are asking for trouble. The prevailing reign of leftist terror was on naked display in Fort Mill, South Carolina on Monday:

A Charlotte man is charged with firing a gun near an Interstate 77 overpass in Fort Mill, where dozens of supporters of President Donald Trump were gathered Monday.

The accused assailant is 23-year-old Marquise Damarius Asomani.

The crowd, which included children, was waving flags on the Sutton Road overpass. Others were driving in their cars back and forth across the bridge with Trump flags flying from their windows.

Thanks to the liberal establishment’s avid fostering of Black Lives Matter terrorism, we now live in a country where you risk your life by openly supporting your own president.

Witnesses told Channel 9′s South Carolina bureau reporter Greg Suskin someone in a red car screamed profanities before opening fire on the group as they drove along Sutton Road.

Fortunately, no one was hit, and a state trooper was close enough to hear the shots and give chase.

Imagine what it will be like out there if progressives achieve their goal of defunding the police. Instead of driving away, mostly peaceful maniacs will keep shooting until the last body has stopped twitching.

Democrats Praise and Encourage Rioting as It Spins Out of Control

In her first appearance after officially becoming the Democrats’ VP candidate, Kamala Harris effusively praised Black Lives Matter/Antifa rioters:

“[W]e are experiencing a moral reckoning with racism and systemic injustice that has brought a new coalition of conscience to the streets of our country demanding change.”

Harris continued: “To everyone keeping up the fight, you are doing something great! You are the heroes of our time.”

Other Democratic officeholders go farther, explicitly inciting still more riots. Shouts Rep Ayanna Pressley (D-MA),

“You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there’s unrest in our lives.”

In the context of the past 2+ months, “unrest in the streets” means mayhem. It means this:

Chicago police officers and violent rioters collided on Saturday as riots broke out in the Windy City. According to Chicago Police, at least 24 people were arrested during the protests that escalated into violence. …

During the riots, two civilians were injured and 17 police officers were treated for injuries. …

Brown said one of the cops injured was an officer who was “beaten in the head several times with a skateboard.” …

The situation became so uncontrollable that the city was forced to raise the area bridges to limit access. The same defensive tactic was implemented by the city last Sunday during the riots and widespread looting.

Also from this past weekend:

Eighteen people were arrested late Sunday in Seattle when an anti-police protest descended into a riot, with members from the group throwing rocks and explosives at law enforcement officers, authorities said Monday.

Protesters marched on the Seattle Police Officer Guild.

Sometime after 10 p.m., demonstrators detonated a “large explosive” and tried to break the window of a police car, authorities said. …

“Multiple explosives were thrown toward officers,” the press release stated. “Several officers were struck by explosives and injured.” …

Three officers were hurt, and one was taken to an area hospital for their injuries, police said.

The anarchy has been too widespread and has been going on for too long for Democrats to count on the media to ignore it or spin at as a few agitators “hijacking” peaceful protests. Anyone who joins up with one of these mobs knows they will likely be taking part in a riot.

Then we have John Thompson, the Minnesota candidate for State Representative, who has been endorsed by Democratic Governor Tim Walz, and who during an obscenity-laced racist tirade suggested burning down the town of Hugo.

Until we hear otherwise is clear terms, this is what the Democratic Party stands for.

Maybe voters can be intimidated into rewarding this terror. Then again, maybe they will vote for people who will make the terror stop.

Who is going to vote for more of these peaceful protests?
