The point of spending vast fortunes on a powerful military is to put yourself in a position where you don’t have to use it because your adversaries take you seriously enough not to create any trouble. Letting Biden’s handlers take control defeats this purpose:

At least the eagle isn’t comprised of rainbow stripes to promote the LGBT agenda.

This and everything else coming out of the politicized Pentagon sends a message to Beijing: Time to move.

Video reviewed by Fox News showed that Harris did not salute the honor guard on Monday nor during earlier trips on March 15 and 16. She did not appear to salute when disembarking Air Force One with Biden on March 19 either.

Recent vice presidents have maintained the practice of saluting the honor guard while entering and exiting Air Force Two.

Although Joe Biden is technically still alive (despite his zombie-like performance at the press conference today), Harris has effectively already been named copresident. All federal agencies have been told to refer to it as the “Biden-Harris Administration” in official communications.

She may have to improve her rapport with the servicemembers, considering that if the Democrat agenda gets any more radical, she will be relying on them to keep the population in line.

The corrosion of wokeness can reduce anything to a laughing stock — even the world’s greatest military:

Schlichter notes that we haven’t conclusively won a war (despite fighting in far too many) since Desert Storm in 1990.

He further notes that the mighty US military, which under Biden’s handlers now fights on behalf of leftist politics rather than America’s interests, has been defeated in the war it launched against Tucker Carlson.

The communist Chinese aren’t focused on diversity, inclusion, critical race theory, or any other toxic nonsense excreted by the cultural Marxists infesting American universities. They are focused on building an efficient fighting force that will allow them to replace the USA as the global hegemon.

The ChiComs already have the largest navy. The lame joke we are asked to regard as “Commander in Chief” is not helping matters by alienating Russia, which like India will be critical in keeping China contained.

The alternative to containing China is fighting it with a military that has abandoned fitness standards in the name of inclusion and that has been reduced by moonbattery to a focus on catering to transsexuals.

The military’s mission used to be national security, but not anymore, now that it is a social engineering laboratory. Whereas it used to destroy America’s enemies, now it destroys barriers to equity — like fitness standards.

The difference between men and women is merely a patriarchal social construct, according to the dogma of our ruling class. And yet:

A study from the Pentagon noted that at least 65% of female soldiers were failing the military’s Army Combat Fitness Test. At least 90% of male soldiers passed the test. …

An unnamed Army official told Military.com that it is imperative to “figure out a way to make it fair to both genders.”

The point of the military is not to be “fair.” The point is to be effective, even against adversaries who couldn’t care less about how self-satisfied the Pentagon is about its inclusivity initiatives.

No worries; the brass has found away to evade biological reality:

Military.com reported, “The proposed solution involves the creation of ‘gender-specific’ percentile bands broken into levels such as Top 1%, Top 10%, Top 25%, and Top 50%, according to an Army briefing slide circulating on social media.”

It’s Affirmative Action for combat soldiers. Men who are fit will be flunked so as to make space for women who are not fit.

An added benefit is that fashionably deranged men who sign up just to get the taxpayers to finance their sex change operations can probably qualify for lower standards by identifying as female.

“All they are going to see for evaluation is which percentile the soldier falls into,” the official said. “The gender identity will not be included in that information.”

However, gender identity is likely to reassert itself under combat conditions.

The US Army’s first female infantry officer is Captain Kristen Griest. Last month she said the gender-neutral test should be scored the same way, regardless of gender.

“The entire purpose of creating a gender-neutral test was to acknowledge the reality that each job has objective physical standards to which all soldiers should be held, regardless of gender,” she said at the time. “The intent was not to ensure that women and men will have an equal likelihood of meeting those standards. Rather, it is incumbent upon women who volunteer for the combat arms profession to ensure they are fully capable and qualified for it. To not require women to meet equal standards in combat arms will not only undermine their credibility, but also place those women, their teammates, and the mission at risk.”

Sounds sensible — too sensible not to be thrown out the window under Commander in Chief Joe Biden.

Maybe he can persuade his ChiCom friends to sign an agreement not to fight too hard against female infantry.

The consequences of having a Commander in Chief who is a figurehead for radical leftists could be devastating for the US military, which plans to go on standby so that the ranks can be purged of those whose views clash with woke ideology.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told top Pentagon leaders Wednesday that he will direct a military-wide stand down to address extremism within the ranks, according to his top spokesman.

As we have learned over the past month, “extremism” encompasses any viewpoint to the right of the liberal media/Biden Administration.

Austin spoke frankly with the acting service secretaries and uniformed service chiefs about his concerns about extremism in the military, including white supremacism, said [Pentagon spokesman John] Kirby, who attended the meeting. The new defense secretary, who is the first Black leader of the Defense Department, wants the service leaders to better grasp how pervasive the issue is within their formations and work with leaders to stamp it out, Kirby said.

“White supremacism” can be translated to mean, “not on board with critical race theory.” If you are white and do not feel that you deserve to be discriminated against for the sake of equity, you are a white supremacist.

The leaders concurred with Austin’s belief the issue was problematic and perhaps more pervasive than past Pentagon officials have known, Kirby said.

The leaders probably concurred with this because the top levels of the officer corps were purged under Obama. Now the brass is more interested in inflicting social justice and environmentalist posturing than it is in winning wars.

The time has come to purge the enlisted ranks too. Our rulers do not want to risk troops getting ideologically squishy when ordered to fire on American citizens for refusing to turn in their firearms. Just ask Rep Steve Cohen (D-TN), who frets that the military is infested with people who probably voted for Trump because they are white men.

The 2021 National Defense Authorization Act, which sets annual Pentagon policy and spending priorities, contained measures meant to help the department address the issue, including the creation of a new position within the department’s inspector general’s office — the deputy inspector general for diversity and inclusion and supremacist, extremism and criminal gang activity. Congress also charged the inspector general with establishing a “mechanism to track and report” extremist or gang activity in the military.

Better not get caught with a MAGA hat in your footlocker. Supporting a recent president could be viewed as gang activity.

Ironically, the same wokesters who are on the warpath against so-called extremists use the military as a social engineering laboratory to advance an agenda that really is extreme, as Biden demonstrated with an executive order imposing the transsexual agenda on the military.

A Chinese military drill was announced as an American aircraft carrier group entered the contested South China Sea. …

This is on top of the news that the US has sent a military convoy into Syria and Iran is holding its fifth military drill in 2 weeks.

I suspect these nations will benefit more from the stand down than our country and the men and women serving in our armed forces.

The Trump policy of avoiding senseless wars has been rejected. Yet the military will be too busy conducting ideological witch hunts and imposing the LGBT wish list to fight effectively. The Titanic is closing in on an iceberg.
