Shoving the Vets Onto Subway Tracks Americans Won’t Shove

Democrat unwillingness to incarcerate criminals or cooperate with immigration enforcement makes for exciting times in New York City. Just waiting for a subway train can be the thrill of a lifetime.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested that New York authorities not release Bairon Posada-Hernandez, a Honduran illegal immigrant who has been deported four times with an extensive criminal record, who is now accused of shoving two men onto New York City subway tracks.

Good luck getting any cooperation out of NYC authorities under Zohran Mamdani.

The alleged attack occurred on Sunday, March 8 at the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street station in Manhattan. According to officials, a 30-year-old victim is in stable condition, while an 83-year-old Air Force veteran remains in critical condition. Posada-Hernandez was arrested on March 10 and charged with attempted murder.

That may not be a serious charge under pro-criminal Soros-appointed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.

Maybe Mamdani & Co. will surprise us by honoring an ICE detainer. But just to be on the safe side, stay away from NYC subway tracks. Better still, stay away from NYC.

The suspect also has a lengthy criminal history, with 15 prior charges including simple assault, domestic violence, obstruction of police, possession of a weapon, drug possession, and aggravated assault.

Mamdani Focuses on Looting and Depravity

To get his hands on more money to fund leftist social engineering, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is trying to extort Albany into raising state taxes.

Estate taxes are among those he wants higher. As Investing.com reports,

Mamdani is pushing to reduce the state’s estate tax exemption threshold by nearly 90%, from over $7 million to $750,000, while raising the top estate tax rate from 16% to 50%.

Only 12 states even have estate taxes, which are imposed on top of federal estate taxes. Mamdani’s proposed threshold would be the lowest of them, meaning the fewest people would escape having their inheritance raided.

Mamdani says raising local taxes to still more outrageous levels will slow the exodus from the degenerating city. Seriously:

Islamomoonbat Math Does Not Add Up in Fallen New York City

The New York Post reports:

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s math projecting a $5.4 billion budget deficit is coming under increased scrutiny — as his fiscal team no-showed the start of spending negotiations with the City Council for the first time in decades Wednesday.

Mamdani’s $127 billion budget is an unrestrained looting spree. He was elected not to govern responsibly but to seize wealth from the Americans who have not yet escaped New York and redistribute it to his fellow Third World colonists.

As there is only so much money he can get his hands on directly, Mamdani wants to take the looting spree statewide. He is holding the city hostage to force Albany to raise taxes even higher. If the state does not comply, he threatens a potentially disastrous rise in NYC property taxes in what Democrat insider Hank Sheinkopf describes as “an extortion technique to get the legislature to give him the money, or else.”

[T]he math whizzes in Mamdani’s Office of Management and Budget skipped their chance to defend the choices in the spending plan as the council’s finance committee kicked off its budget hearings.

Budget Director Sherif Soliman didn’t show up, nor did anyone else from his office.

Chaos at Khamenei Vigil in NYC

Terrorist dictator Khamenei will be remembered for murdering his own people, for murdering Americans, and for conspiring to murder millions more with nuclear weapons.

Washington Square Park is about a mile and a half from where the World Trade Center once stood.

Flyers for the pro-Khamenei event praised the dead tyrant for opposing the “criminal American regime.”

Letitia James Demands Sex Change Procedures for Children Resume

Arrested for Setting Someone on Fire After 131 Prior Arrests

It becomes ever more obvious that Americans will not be safe until the moonbats running the justice system in liberal bastions like New York are held accountable for the deeds of the sociopaths they set loose at the public’s throat.

Two people were arrested, including a parolee with a criminal record that includes 131 prior arrests, for setting a homeless man on fire as he slept at Penn Station, police said Wednesday.

One hundred thirty-one prior arrests. If only we had a 130 strikes law.

Damon Johnson, 47, was arrested Tuesday by officers with the Amtrak Police Department and charged with attempted murder and assault for the attack on Monday that left a 37-year-old man with second-degree burns on his arm and back, according to law enforcement. …

Video posted online shows the victim on his feet, with flames spreading across his arm, trying to fend off his attackers as they throw him to the ground. The victim can be seen struggling to remove his burning sweatshirt, the video shows. …

Johnson is currently on parole for a 2018 robbery, in which he slashed a student’s face before taking cash from his pockets, according to Mullan, who said the victim required more than 100 stitches.

His alleged accomplice Lyla Najjar is just getting started, with only five prior arrests.
