Whatever happens in the Senate race in Texas, at least we will be rid of establishment RINO John Cornyn.

Cornyn will be best remembered for imposing on us a second federal holiday devoted to wallowing in white guilt, this one inspired by the George Floyd race riots. Or he might be remembered for helping Democrats kill free and fair elections, conceivably out of spite after losing in the primaries to Ken Paxton in a blowout.

Maybe if Cornyn helps Democrats cheat their way to power — which they will try to make permanent by institutionalizing election fraud, packing the Supreme Court, creating new states, etc. — they will name a post office after him. Otherwise, we will only have Juneteenth and his white flag on the SAVE Act to remember him by.

MTG denies the unconfirmed allegation and says she is just on vacation. But there is no denying that horseshoe right kingpin Tucker Carlson announced plans to buy a house in Qatar. Qatarlson, as he is sometimes called, has compared the West unfavorably to Muslim countries and vehemently sides with Iran against the USA.

Democrats appear to share his sympathies regarding the struggle to prevent Iran from attacking us with nuclear weapons. They have undercut the war effort at every turn. At this point, supporting the Democratic Party is hardly patriotic — and yet Copilot curates this:

Far-right commentator Nick Fuentes has declared himself a ‘non-woke moderate Democrat,’ urged followers to vote for Democrats, and called for Donald Trump’s impeachment. The shift follows his March 2026 break with Trump over strikes on Iran and alleged mishandling of Jeffrey Epstein records, which he framed as a betrayal of America First principles.

Carlson and Greene have also denounced Trump regarding Epstein. If there were any meaningful connection between them, we would know about it by now. Tying people to Epstein is a convenient means of attacking opponents.

Tucker Carlson’s response to addressing the Iranian threat is what we have come to expect regarding anything that benefits Israel. With his usual subtle nuance, he describes the long-overdue move on Iran as “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

Elsewhere on the horseshoe right, Megan Kelly backs the narrative that the Jews put Trump up to it:

In case anyone honestly does not understand why we would finally confront a regime that has been at war with us since 1979, the White House presents a partial list of reasons:

• November 1979: Iranian students, backed by the regime, seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran — taking 66 Americans hostage in a 444-day standoff.

• April 1983: The Islamic Jihad, an Iran-backed terrorist group, carried out a suicide car bombing at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, killing 17 Americans.

• October 1983: Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorists killed 241 U.S. military personnel — including 220 U.S. Marines and 21 other service personnel — in a truck bombing at a Marine compound in Beirut.

• November 2024: An Iranian national and IRGC asset was charged for plotting to assassinate President Trump.

All of this pales in comparison to what the future might have held under a continuing policy of appeasement and wishful thinking. Allowing the top state sponsor of terrorism to develop nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles to deliver them was not a serious option. Trump could be saving millions of American lives.

Calls to unite in the aftermath of the leftist assassination of Charlie Kirk are naive at best. How are we supposed to unite when we cannot even agree that Ilhan Omar needs to be ejected from Congress, where she represents not America but her preferred country Somalia?

Trump’s political genius consists largely of taking common sense positions like this:

“I think she’s terrible. I think she should be impeached. I think she’s terrible,” the president told reporters aboard Air Force One on Thursday.

Appallingly, Republicans could not even agree to censure her. The Blaze reports on the perfidy of RINO reps like Cory Mills (R-FL):

Following Charlie Kirk’s horrific assassination, Omar let out a slew of insensitive comments that sparked outrage among conservatives. As a result, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina introduced a resolution to censure Omar, which would formally condemn the Democrat and strip her of her committee assignments.

Mace’s resolution narrowly failed 214-213 in a procedural vote Wednesday night, with Mills casting the deciding vote.

The other turncoats who disgracefully sided with the Democrats are Mike Flood (R-NE), Jeff Hurd (R-CO), and Tom McClintock (R-CA).

At least Mills has an excuse. But that too is disgraceful:

Mills’ decisive vote comes as Axios reported that House Democrats were pushing a retaliatory censure against him unless Omar’s censure was tanked. …

Mills is facing a slew of allegations reported by Blaze News, including accusations of sextortion, financial misconduct, and stolen valor, all of which he has denied.

The allegations are serious, but no worse than siding with Democrats regarding Ilhan Omar.

Meanwhile, Democrats wouldn’t even support a resolution honoring Charlie Kirk:

The resolution, which was introduced by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., “condemns in the strongest possible terms the assassination of Charles ‘Charlie’ James Kirk, and all forms of political violence.”

Additionally, it “honors the life, leadership, and legacy of Charlie Kirk, whose steadfast dedication to the Constitution, civil discourse, and Biblical truth inspired a generation to cherish and defend the blessings of liberty.”

A minority of Democrats (presumably in swing districts) voted in favor of this.

One way or another, the Cold Civil War will end. Then we can unite.
