The Sikh owner of a London-based Indian restaurant was briefly detained by the police on Saturday, following days of controversy over his refusal to sell halal meat. Indian-origin restaurateur Harman Singh Kapoor had earlier claimed that he had become the target of Muslim protesters over his refusal to sell halal.

By “protesters” they mean thugs:

Kapoor had posted frequently about being threatened and intimidated by members of what he referred to as the “peaceful community” for not selling halal food.

London police won’t say why they arrested him. Maybe he said something critical of Islam online.

Kapoor’s run-ins with protesters gained wider attention in February 2026, when he shared an X post claiming that he had been forced to shut Rangrez — the restaurant he ran for 16 years — due to “ongoing online harassment, repeated disturbances and attacks by Pakistanis and a lack of proper support from the Met Police.”

Islam requires meat to be halal, meaning that animals are killed in a barbaric ritual manner. Kapoor’s Sikh faith forbids it, so he offered jhatka meat instead.

University of Maryland Student Government Introduces Resolution Siding With Iranian Regime Against USA

Under domination by leftists, universities are becoming enemy beachheads deep within our own borders, the equivalent of terrorist sleeper cells. Campus Reform presents an example:

Student leaders at the University of Maryland-College Park (UMCP) have reportedly introduced a new resolution pledging solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

There is no regime on earth more conspicuously evil — not to mention hostile to America — than the one ruling Iran. It has long been the #1 state sponsor of terrorism and has been at war with the USA since 1979. It has killed many an American. It openly calls for our total destruction and has been working feverishly to acquire nuclear missiles to bring this about. Also, the brutal regime has been murdering its own people by the tens of thousands.

Members of the Student Government Association (SGA)—which represents the student body—introduced the resolution on March 4 following joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on the dictatorial regime in Iran.

Israel has been designated the “Little Satan” to America’s “Great Satan.” The Iranian regime openly aspires to eradicate both. But apparently it was planning a carveout for the University of Maryland, since students appear not to regard it as a threat.

Or maybe it is just a certain kind of student who sides with the ayatollahs, and the rest just go along so as not to be bullied as Islamophobes. The resolution was sponsored by someone named Zyad Khan. Cosponsors have names like Saad Ijaz, Mohammad Abukhdeir, and Hasan Islam.

Despite the fact that Iranians worldwide celebrated the coordinated strikes and subsequent Feb. 28 death of dictator Ayatollah Khamenei, the resolution feigns support for Iranians’ right to “self-determination” of their own political futures “without foreign interference or coercion.”

Like all moonbattery, the resolution is malevolent nonsense that lacks internal coherence.

Affirming Islamic Sensibilities Through British Schools

To teach children to be obedient dhimmis who comply unthinkingly with Islamic rule, it is best to start young. Daily Mail reports from Britainistan:

Children’s drawings could be considered blasphemous, while music and dance lessons could contravene the teachings of Islam, local councils have warned schools.

The guidance has been issued to teachers across northern England as part of a publication intended to highlight ‘sensitivity and awareness around faiths and beliefs’.

One particular faith is always granted priority, given its extreme propensity for violence and the vast number of adherents Britain has imported.

‘A three-dimensional imagery of humans is considered idolatrous by some Muslims,’ the guidance warns.

‘It is very important that the school understands this and is also careful not to ask its students to reproduce images of Jesus, Prophet Mohammed or other figures considered to be prophets in Islam.

This would mean that a crucifix is blasphemous, so let’s hope the warning went out to Catholic schools too.

Music is something else Britain may have to live without in order to be multiculturally sensitive toward the ruling class it has been importing.

There are also guidelines around the teaching of music.

‘In Islam, music is traditionally limited to the human voice and non-tuneable percussion instruments as in the days of the Prophet, when they were only used in marriage ceremonies and on the battlefield.’

Traditionally, immigrants assimilated into the host culture. With Islam it works the other way around.

Boys in Up to 61 Roster Positions on Girls’ Sports Teams in Colorado Schools

Boys playing on girls’ teams has not been a rare exception in areas that have succumbed to moonbattery such as Colorado. With Trump in office, overdue pushback has begun.

The New York Post reports:

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) concluded that a Colorado school district violated federal civil rights law by allowing male students to access female bathrooms, locker rooms and overnight accommodations and to compete in girls sports.

In findings released Friday, OCR determined that Jefferson County Public Schools violated Title IX.

If Democrats regain control of the White House, Title IX will be turned on its head, so that it enshrines the right of sexually deviant boys to invade the girls’ locker room and injure girls on the playing field. Any girl who does not want trans-identifying boys leering at them in the shower will be guilty of sex discrimination and therefore in violation of Title IX.

The announcement said OCR received athletic rosters from Jefferson County, and the rosters indicate “male students may occupy up to 61 roster positions on girls’ sports teams in the district.”

OCR said the policies deny girls “safety, dignity and equal access” to educational programs and activities.

A moonbat would argue that this is a small price to pay to socially engineer woke utopia.
