Kamala Harris and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence

The lame skit making fun of Catholics that Kamala Harris phoned in to the Al Smith dinner barely hinted at the demonic hatred of Christians in general and Catholics in particular that characterizes our Democrat rulers. Her friendliness with the belligerently blasphemous anti-Catholic hate group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence gives a better idea:

Harris, then a U.S. Senator from California and a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, posed with both SPI member “Sister Roma” (Michael Williams) and “Saint Honey Mahogany” (James Mitchell), a San Francisco “transgender” activist.

As CatholicVote President Brian Burch observes, SPI is “a ‘drag’ troupe whose whole purpose is to mock and harass Catholics.”

The Biden-Harris administration has also engaged in ruthless lawfare against Christians who protest peacefully near abortion clinics, sending some to prison for years. The administration even targeted the Little Sisters of the Poor — a group of actual Roman Catholic nuns who dedicate their lives to serving Christ by assisting the elderly and vulnerable — over their moral objection to contraception.

Just last week, NBC News’ Hallie Jackson asked Harris whether she supported any restrictions on abortion, including “religious exemptions” ostensibly for performing abortions. Harris rejected the premise and indicated instead that abortion rights trumped all other considerations.

Even Kamala Harris will have a hard time topping the insult Biden inflicts by taking communion while waging war on Christian values.

Kamala Makes Contempt for Christianity Explicit

The video she phoned in to the Al Smith dinner lamely making fun of Catholics might not have made her attitude toward Christians clear enough. At a rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Kamala Harris was more explicit:

Her dismissive sneer at the end of the clip tells you all you need to know about Kamala Harris.

Democrats openly represent opposition to moral decency on behalf of degeneracy. Vote as if not only your country but your soul depended on it.

UK Law Could Criminalize Praying in Your Own House

Formerly great Britain has succumbed to moonbattery to such an extreme that you can be arrested for silently praying in public. At least you can still pray at home — if not for long:

Scotland has enacted new abortion legislation that could criminalize praying at home within designated zones. The Abortion Services Act (Scotland) 2024 could result in prosecution for activities conducted in their own homes if these actions cause “harassment, alarm, or distress” to staff and patients at abortion clinics.

Even suspecting that someone might be praying for the innocent lives they snuff out distresses the belligerently sensitive fiends who run abortion clinics.

Residents in Edinburgh received letters warning them about the new law, The Telegraph reported, noting that the legislation establishes 200-meter “safe access zones” around all abortion clinics in the country.

Before long, all of Airstrip One will be a “safe access zone” — i.e., subject to the last extremes of leftist tyranny.

Those who risk being seen through the window praying have been warned that serious offenses carry an unlimited fine.

It is fitting that progressives are criminalizing Christianity in the name of abortion, which serves them as a satanic sacrament (see here, here, and here).

In other British legislative news, Two-Tier Keir Starmer’s party is pushing a law that “would force business owners, such as publicans, to employ Stasi-style speech police to comply with the government diktats” so that no one can say anything politically incorrect in pubs.

The disgraceful fate of the UK will befall the USA if Democrats are not pried from power soon.

Culture Versus Anticulture

What they present to us as our culture is actually anticulture. It is the desecration of culture. Consider what passes for opera nowadays:

“Sancta Susanna” tells the story of a suppressed nun’s journey of self-discovery and sexuality, featuring shocking elements including explicit lesbian scenes, real injuries and nudity.

The one-act show lasts almost three hours and has no breaks — but plenty of sex acts, real and simulated blood, and painful stunts…

The presentation is a panegyric to sickness.

At the center of the narrative is Susanna, a young nun who discovers her sexuality in a scandalous climax where she pulls down Christ’s loincloth on the crucifix. She later has sex with him.

Pushing blasphemy to ever more repugnant extremes is a safe way for artists to earn a pat on the head from the liberal establishment for being “edgy.”

Pope Francis Denounces Israel for Fighting Back

It might make you grind your teeth when Pope Francis, safely ensconced in opulence behind the walls of the Vatican, demands countries further open their borders to numberless swarms of looters from the Third World. But that’s only irresponsible sanctimonious posturing. This is worse:

Francis suggested Sunday that Israel’s attacks in Gaza and Lebanon have been “immoral” and disproportionate…

Francis was asked en route home from Belgium about Israel’s targeted killing of one of Hezbollah’s founding members, Hassan Nasrallah.

Taking out Nasrallah was a victory not only for Israel but for Christendom. Francis cannot help but be aware that the Middle East was largely Christian prior to Muslim conquest. The reason for the violence he simplistically decries is that after 1,400 years Muslims still endeavor to eradicate religions other than Islam.

Francis sniffs that “the defense must always be proportionate to the attack.” Evidently killing a terrorist so that he will stop killing civilians is “disproportionate.”

Francis has tried to strike a balance in his comments on the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel and the conflicts in Gaza and southern Lebanon that have ensued. He has called for an immediate cease-fire, for the release of hostages taken by Hamas and for humanitarian aid to get to Gaza.

The pattern is getting monotonous; Islamic terrorists commit horrific unprovoked acts of aggression, then moonbats “strike a balance” by shoveling money at Hamas and demanding Israel not fight back.

Liberal Editor Withstands Christofascist Oppression

No wonder our moonbat ruling class keeps warning us about the menace posed by Christianity. Christian nationalism can strike anywhere with no notice — even in safe spaces like ultraliberal San Francisco.

Jeffery holds a position of significance in the liberal establishment. No one tells her to have a blessed night without pushback!

Could it be that moonbats are developing a capacity for self-awareness? Looks like Jeffery came to realize she had outed herself as an insufferable bigot and deleted the tweet.

Athlete Suspended for Making Sign of Cross

They aren’t throwing people in prison for being Christian yet — but it’s getting close:

Serbian athlete Nemanja Majdov, 28, was told by the International Judo Federation (IJF) that he has been banned from competing until early next year including for ‘having shown a clear religious sign when entering the field of play’ in breach of the organisation’s rules.

He committed the infraction while competing in the Paris Olympics in July and was caught red-handed:

The IJF explains why Christian gestures are banned:

“As an international umbrella organisation, it is our duty to make sure that all our stakeholders and especially the athletes, feel respected and accepted, in all our events and activities.”

Intolerance is tolerance. Anyone who doesn’t agree is a bigot.

Green Party’s Sanija Ameti v. Madonna and Child

Following the trajectory of the Democratic Party under leftists like Kamala Harris, we will immediately come to the Green parties of Europe. Sanija Ameti of the Zurich Green Liberal Party makes clear where they stand in the eternal struggle between good and evil:

Ameti has sparked outrage with a tasteless post on Instagram after publishing photos of a shooting exercise in which she took aim at an image of Mary and Jesus, as Blick reported.
