Catholic School Excommunicated for Worship of Moonbattery

Joe Biden is such a fanatical proponent of abortion that he may declare a state of emergency if Roe v. Wade is overturned, so that the federal government can continue to impose abortion on states that don’t want it. Nancy Pelosi absurdly holds that to restrict abortion is to “politicize” the issue, which she opposes. Both of these pro-abortion radicals call themselves Catholic, even while aggressively opposing church teaching on this fundamental moral issue.

Evidently, being Catholic has no meaning. You can call yourself Catholic for political or social purposes, despite refusing to live by or even refrain from attacking basic Catholic principles. The Church will collaborate in the blasphemous farce by confirming your membership. Or maybe not:

A private Massachusetts Catholic middle school has been excommunicated by a local bishop over its refusal to refrain from flying the Black Lives Matter and rainbow LGBTQ pride flag, contending that the ideology behind them is not consistent with the church’s social and moral teachings.

“Not consistent” is putting it mildly. The “pride” flag represents making a lifestyle out of sexual depravity that is firmly and repeatedly condemned in the Bible. The Black Lives Matter flag represents a political movement that stands not only for siding with criminals against law enforcement, but also for valuing people by their race rather than by their souls, and for deliberately destroying the nuclear family in favor of perversion and degeneracy.

Worcester Bishop Robert McManus issued a formal decree that the Nativity School of Worcester can no longer call itself Catholic while continuing to fly the flags after he ordered that they be removed, a demand that was ignored by school officials…

Actions can have consequences even for leftists, accustomed as they may be to getting away with anything.

“I publicly stated in an open letter dated, May 4, 2022, that “these symbols (flags) embody specific agendas or ideologies (that) contradict Catholic social and moral teaching.” It is my contention that the ‘Gay Pride’ flag represents support of gay marriage and actively living a LGBTQ+ lifestyle,” McManus wrote. “This is also true of ‘Black Lives Matter.’ The Catholic Church teaches that all life is sacred and the Church certainly stands unequivocally behind the phrase ‘black lives matter’ and strongly affirms that all lives matter.”

That would include the lives of babies who according to liberal ideology are not officially human yet due to the technicality of not having been delivered. So why have prominent proponents of abortion like Biden and Pelosi not been excommunicated? Why are they still allowed to take communion?

To his credit, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone blocked Pelosi from taking communion in San Francisco. But she and Biden continue to desecrate the faith by being allowed to take sham communion in DC.

If allowed to metastasize, this cancer will destroy Catholicism. Infiltration by leftists has reduced other denominations to mockeries, featuring drag queen pastors and gay pride worship services. Already there is an outfit calling itself Catholics for Choice so comically depraved that it advocates men having abortions.

The Long March Through the Institutions will subordinate not only Catholicism but organized Christianity in general to leftism if the line drawn by Bishop McManus is not held resolutely.

Methodist Church Features Drag Queen as Associate Pastor

Stalin’s hard tyranny failed to eradicate Christianity. So his successors take a more insidious approach by eating it away from within, replacing scripture with blasphemous nonsense so as to render the religion of no use or interest to anyone. Churches are infiltrated and subverted by moonbats, then subordinated to wokeism. Among the least subtle of them is Isaac Simmons, aka Ms. Penny Cost, of the United Methodist Church.

Simmons, who serves as an associate pastor at Hope United Methodist Church in Bloomington, Illinois, has challenged basic theological concepts, projecting a worldview where divinity rests not in God but in queerness.

Simmons calls himself a “dragavangelist.”

“God must be f***ing nothing,” he says, “if her boundaryless, transubstantiated bodies of color are run down, beaten, and strewn in the streets of America instead of ruling the runways of life.”

Because Simmons worships queerness instead of God, he considers dressing up as a grotesque parody of a woman to be a religious experience:

“Drag allows me to process the mystery of myself, the mystery of God, the mystery of love, and the mystery of pain,” he said. “When I walk the streets in six-inch heels and wear four pounds of hair, double-stacked wigs, the power which lies within my mystery is released into the world.”

The United Methodist Church is scheduled to split into separate denominations in 2024 over LGBT issues.

The liberal wing will retain the denomination’s name and permit same-sex marriage while the conservatives will join a new denomination where same-sex marriage is forbidden.

The liberal wing will wither away and die unnoticed and ungrieved. The conservative wing, to be called the Global Methodist Church, will survive so long as it remains resilient to the cancer that calls itself liberalism.

Discord in Woke Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

What happens when white male heterosexuals have been marginalized out of the picture? The Cultural Marxist coalition of the allegedly oppressed turns on itself. The Evangelical Lutheran Church provides an example:

An openly transgender cleric from San Francisco, who made history last year with an appointment as a bishop by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has resigned amid allegations of racism after firing the pastor of a predominantly Latino congregation.

The Rev. Megan Rohrer, who uses the pronoun “they,” led one of the church’s 65 synods, overseeing nearly 200 congregations in Northern California and northern Nevada.

Going by a girl’s name suggests that Rohrer is a guy. But then, wearing a bowtie is something a female transsexual would do. Rohrer has done such a thorough job of defacing God’s handiwork that I don’t know which pronouns to use. I’m not going to use “they,” because Rohrer is only one person, even if the demons infesting his/her soul may be legion.

Weirdos like Rohrer aren’t the only ones empowered by being supposedly oppressed. After he/she fired Puerto Rican pastor Rev. Nelson Rabell-Gonzalez for alleged “verbal harassment and retaliatory actions,” his mainly Mexican congregation shrieked racism.

The church responded by appointing a “listening panel.” Presiding bishop Rev. Elizabeth A. Eaton announced in a report that…

…she intends to act on and explore several of the listening team’s recommendations particularly the need for anti-racism and cultural sensitivity training.

Not good enough. Nothing is ever good enough for a mob that has gotten a taste of the power that comes with being oppressed. The church’s Latino Ministries Association denounced Eaton’s groveling statement as “weak and compassionless.”

They also said her message ignored the suffering of an entire community and gave “a white aggressor the opportunity to decide their own fate – a decision deeply rooted in white supremacy and systemic racism.”

The terms “white supremacy” and “systemic racism” are meaningless yet powerful. Black supremacists have used them to inflict enough damage on local police to create a crime wave.

Rohrer will now have the opportunity to mount a defense as part of a disciplinary process – an opportunity Rabell-Gonzalez says he has been denied. He also said he did not refuse the synod’s mandate to see a therapist. When Rohrer became bishop, Rabell-Gonzalez said he expected to get an ally.

“I got an oppressor instead,” he said.

It is good to hear that even transsexuals can be oppressors. That means there are limits to their power over the rest of us.

Nancy Pelosi Attacks Catholic Church

This should put an end to high priestess of moonbattery Nancy Pelosi’s pretense of being Catholic:

Pelosi lashed out against the Catholic Church after she was banned from Holy Communion by San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone over her “extreme” position on abortion, taking her case to MSNBC to lecture the world’s oldest religious institution.

As noted earlier, it is no overstatement to characterize Pelosi’s advocacy of abortion as extreme. To allow her to take communion while she obstinately persists in manifest grave sin would contribute to the campaign to destroy Christianity from within, subordinating it to leftism.

Pelosi took to the obsequiously supportive far-left platform Morning Joe to denounce Catholicism:

“So these same people are against contraception, family planning, in vitro fertilization,” she continued. “It’s… it’s a blanket thing and they use abortion as the front man for it while they try to undo so much, that’s what they tried to do in the Affordable Care Act, which didn’t have anything about terminating an abortion,” correcting herself, “a pregnancy.”

Pelosi added, “So let’s just say that, you know, I wonder about death penalty, which I am opposed to, so is the church, but they take no action against people who may not share their view.”

That is, she equated killing innocent children with executing murderers in accordance with the law. Nancy Pelosi is moral depravity incarnate. No wonder Democrats choose her to be Speaker of the House.

She then accused Archbishop Cordileone of being a homophobe, a cardinal sin in “woke” leftist dogma.

She denounced Cordileone for opposing the LGBT agenda, which all Christians do by definition, the Biblical position on sexual depravity being clear. While doing so, she sanctimoniously cited the gospel of Matthew. As William Shakespeare wrote, “The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.” So can his myrmidons like Pelosi.

Speaking of servants of Satan, the media takes her side. The San Francisco Examiner demands that Cordileone be removed from his position for not kneeling before Big Government by allowing Pelosi to take communion in violation of his faith.

Nancy Pelosi Denied Communion

Stalin’s strategy was to close down churches and send off priests and nuns to die in gulags, but his ideological heirs take a more insidious approach. They hollow out Christianity, retaining only the husk, replacing the actual content with leftist ideology. That way, churches are no longer challenges to government authority, but only meaningless social clubs, comprised of people who believe whatever is fashionable. No need to shut down any churches; they will just wither away from irrelevance.

Some Catholics are fighting back by affirming that their church does actually stand for something:

Nancy Pelosi is barred from receiving the Eucharist in the Archdiocese of San Francisco because of her efforts to codify federal protection for abortions, according to a May 20 statement from Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone.

“I must make a public declaration that [Pelosi] is not to be admitted to Holy Communion unless and until she publicly repudiate her support for abortion ‘rights’ and confess and receive absolution for her cooperation in this evil in the sacrament of Penance. I have accordingly sent her a Notification to this effect, which I have now made public,” Cordileone wrote in a letter released Friday.

Archbishop Cordileone had repeatedly requested to meet with her, but Pelosi blew him off, offering an indication of how seriously she takes the faith.

The archbishop invoked canon 915 of the Code of the Canon Law, which says that Catholics who “obstinately persist” in “manifest grave sin” should not be admitted to the Eucharist.

Pelosi’s advocacy of abortion is extreme:

Pelosi has said that overturning Roe would be an “abomination” and that should the Supreme Court do so, it would be “one of the worst and most damaging decisions in modern history.” She and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) have led Democrats in support of a radical abortion bill that would wipe out state pro-life laws and dramatically expand abortion access by codifying Roe into federal law.

To allow a fiend like Pelosi to take communion makes a farce of the ritual. Let her attend services of the Satanic Temple; that would be consistent with her beliefs. Presenting herself as Catholic is blasphemy.

Excommunication would be more appropriate, but denying communion to someone who makes a mockery of Catholicism is at least a step in the right direction.

Meanwhile, at other churches,

A pro-LGBT organization is slated to host a conference for kids ages 12 to 18 at the Naples United Church of Christ in Florida on Saturday.

“GLSEN Collier is hosting the inaugural Youth Pride Conference in Naples, FL for all local LGBTQ youth ages 12-18,” a post about the event states. …

The event will include a drag show. …

One of the breakout sessions available for attendees will include, “Inclusive Sex Education,” featuring a presenter from Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, according to the conference description.

That is the alternative to standing firm and pushing back.

How Moonbats Celebrate Mother’s Day

Abortion is the primary sacrament of the moonbat religion because it violently rejects all that is wholesome and sane. Specifically, abortion rejects motherhood by the most vicious means possible. Moonbats loath motherhood so intensely that some won’t acknowledge that mothers exist; they use the term “birthing person” (see here and here), as if saying the word “mother” is like getting their mouths washed out with soap.

In utopia, Mother’s Day will be replaced by Abort Your Children Day. For now, here is how leftists plan to celebrate Mother’s Day tomorrow:

A radical abortion group calling itself “Ruth Sent Us” announced this week that it is mobilizing activists to enter Catholic churches during Mass this coming Sunday in response to reports that the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

Readers will recall that Ruth Sent Us has published the home addresses of Supreme Court Justices, so that they can be terrorized by the liberal mob into pretending that the US Constitution guarantees a right to abortion, lest this be left to voters.

Like other progressives, they have no more respect for churches than they do for the American system of government.

A Ruth Sent Us TikTok account uploaded a video of activists marching toward the doors of a Catholic Church. “Sometime a*****es need a beating,” the post stated.

Ruth Sent Us tweeted out another video of protesters interrupting Mass in another sacred building. The activists marched in and stood between the holy altar and the parishioners. “For 2,000 years the Catholic Church has been an institution for the enslavement of women,” shouted one.

“This is what Mother’s Day should look like,” tweeted Ruth Sent Us. “Catholic and Evangelical Churches nationwide.”

Another reminder of what decent people are up against:
