Despite the best efforts of tyrants, Covid hysteria is petering out. But Democrat strategist James Carville will not say die. The featherweight Skeletor lookalike wants to punch people in the face for choosing not to get vaccinated, as he announced on his podcast Politics War Room with James Carville & Al Hunt:

Carville and Hunt took a listener question wondering why President Biden would not pass a bill that bars unvaccinated citizens from interstate travel.

Not even Biden is enough of a Soviet-style authoritarian to satisfy the Democrat base. If he banned interstate travel, next would come demands for gulags.

The hosts appeared to believe that the only reason for Biden not to ban interstate travel for the unvaxxed is that the Supreme Court would knock it down. You can see why Democrats have been scheming to pack the court with Merrick Garland types, so as to remove it as a brake on their power.

Maybe a packed Supreme Court would approve of the law Carville then suggested:

“I wish what they’d do is pass a law to make you immune from liability if you punch some unvaccinated person right in the face, which I’d really like to do. If you ask me what’s my first reaction to you if you’re not vaccinated, you don’t have any medical reason not to be, you’re a piece of s—, OK? I just want to punch you in the god—-ed face. That’s the way I look at these people,” Carville said.

“Agreed,” Hunt replied.

Democrats truly hate those who defy them.

Thanks to Omicron, Covid is far less dangerous, and vaccines do not keep it from spreading. Why is Carville so furious as the pandemic wanes? Hot Air quotes Danish Covid advisor Michael Bang Petersen:

“For people who have been highly vigilant about Covid-19, the end of the pandemic could end up feeling like defeat. At some point, it will be time to lift restrictions and lower the guards. The people they’ve been debating about masks or whether the crisis is improving will then be right.”

When faced with exposure for being wrong once again, leftists reflexively resort to insults and violence.
