No wonder the media hyped Covid hysteria so enthusiastically. There was big money in it:

A former Emmy-nominated TV news anchor convicted in a billion-dollar COVID fraud scheme sent a scandalous text to her partner in crime that joked about cheating the taxpayers.

Stephanie Hockridge-Reis, who worked for a local station in Phoenix [ABC affiliate KNXV aka ABC15] before becoming a fintech entrepreneur, sent the message to her husband, Nathan Reis, after applying for Payment Protection Program (PPP) loans during the height of the pandemic.

Fintech entrepreneurs who let greed get the better of them might be tempted to innovate new means to exploit the marathon spending spree in Washington that continues even now, though at long last there are indications that it may wind down prior to financial collapse.

She texted her husband,

“This is us trying to apply for free money — when we don’t quite qualify. lol.”

Who’s laughing out loud now, Stephanie?

The couple was accused of fraudulently obtaining over $300,000 in PPP loans for themselves, including one application that falsely claimed he was a veteran and an African American.

To maximize freebies, it helps to be “oppressed.”

The two named their fintech firm — which processed more than $12.5 billion in PPP loans — Blueacorn, calling to mind the moonbat echo chamber Bluesky as well as ActBlue, the primary Democrat fundraising platform, which is under investigation for widespread fraud. Steer clear of anything with “blue” in its name.

The point of the PPP loan program was to alleviate damage to small businesses caused by Covid tyranny. It set taxpayers back nearly $1 TRILLION, costing $4 for every $1 in “saved” jobs, driving up inflation and the national debt. Yet again, Big Government’s solution to a problem caused by Big Government caused more problems.

Maybe the media and the rest of the left-wing Powers That Be could have recovered some credibility if they had apologized profusely after inflicting Covid hysteria/tyranny and allowing Biden’s handlers to take power by suppressing and lying about the bombshell Hunter laptop revelations that made it obvious the Big Guy was unfit for office. The same goes for pretending career criminal fentanyl overdoser George Floyd was murdered, then promoting Black Lives Matter riots and crippling local law enforcement. It might even have helped if they had designated a few sacrificial goats to take the blame.

Instead, smug in their contempt for us, they assumed that if they didn’t mention these turning points, we would no more remember them than a goldfish remembers previous trips around the fishbowl. As always, liberals were wrong.

Covid Tyranny Carries On in Canada

If you thought Covid tyranny was bad in the USA, be glad you aren’t north of the border:

In Canada … pandemic restrictions were tighter and lasted longer than in the United States. That prompted public pushback culminating in the protest known as the Freedom Convoy and draconian retaliation against demonstrators by the Canadian government.

The tyranny continues:

While the government’s actions have since been ruled unconstitutional, two of the Freedom Convoy’s leaders have been convicted for their efforts and potentially face prison sentences longer than those handed out to killers and rapists.

Note that this comes not from North Korea but from an allegedly free country:

“The Crown says it’s seeking an extraordinary sentence for an unprecedented crime, as court began hearing sentencing submissions Wednesday in the mischief case of Ottawa truck convoy leaders Tamara Lich and Chris Barber,” the CBC’s Arthur White-Crummey reported last week. “Crown prosecutor Siobhain Wetscher asked Justice Heather Perkins-McVey to impose a prison sentence of seven years for Lich and eight years for Barber.”

They were acquitted of more serious charges resulting from their objection to Justin Trudeau’s over-the-top tyranny. This included not only suffocating lockdowns and vaccine mandates but freezing the bank accounts of those who objected.

Actual criminals are treated more gently than Barber and Lich:

“It’s certainly the case that you can do an awful lot of heinous things in Canada before a prosecutor would ever think of asking for seven years,” Tristin Hopper wrote for the National Post. He pointed out that in March, prosecutors sought no more than six years for a British Columbia man who sexually assaulted a baby. In 2022, an Edmonton man received a five-year sentence for killing two people while driving drunk; that was the same sentence given in 2019 to a Newfoundland man who was drunk when he killed a couple and seriously injured two other people. Five years was also the sentence sought for a Vancouver man who fatally stabbed a good Samaritan who intervened in a heated public argument.

The system of government imposed by moonbats like Trudeau and Mark Carney is known as anarchotyranny.

Who Pardoned Fauci Revealed

Prominent among recent Democrat-inflicted indignities is the blanket pardon for any and all crimes bestowed upon the king of the Covid tyrants, Anthony Fauci — who imposed mass vaccinations with an experimental vaccine, who committed a felony by lying to Congress, and who has been implicated in creating Covid. Due to the White House being run by a shadowy junta for 4 years while Biden drooled on himself and gibbered unintelligibly, we didn’t know exactly who pardoned Fauci — until now:

According to emails that were leaked to The New York Times, White House aide Jeff Zients approved the use of autopen to sign off on Fauci’s pardon. …

Zients is one of the people that Rep. James Comer is calling to testify as part of his investigation into the autopen scandal.

If justice prevails, the outrageous pardon will be ruled null and void and this most extravagantly overpaid of government “servants” will finally face the music.

NPR Is Still Pushing Covid Hysteria

Never mind Disease X. The libs at NPR are still milking hysteria from Covid. This piece was excreted just Tuesday:

Loryn Competti was watching the news with her husband at their home in Cincinnati when she heard about the new federal policy about who should get a COVID vaccine.

“I started crying,” says Competti. “I was like, ‘Am I really not going to be able to get this vaccine? Why? Why?’ That’s absolutely terrifying.”

Competti, 30, is about five months pregnant, which means she’s at high risk for serious complications from COVID. But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has dropped its recommendation that healthy pregnant women routinely get vaccinated against the virus.

That means many insurance companies may not pay for the shots for them anymore.

If insurance really doesn’t pay, the risky, generally unnecessary vaccines can cost as much as $200. The only reasonable response to this crisis is to PANIC!!!!

Panic is useful because it can be exploited to justify all manner of repression and wasteful spending by Big Government. Here it is used to rally moonbats against Trump.

Staggering Waste Under Andrew Cuomo Revealed

Like Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees in yet another lame sequel, the erstwhile Love Gov Andrew Cuomo is back from the dead. His fellow moonbats at Newsweek report that he is leading the polls to become the next mayor of New York.

No doubt Mayor Cuomo will help NYC get its financial house in order. Just kidding. A recently released audit report reminds us how irresponsible he was during Covid as governor:

The state government poured $453 million into building an enormous stockpile of medical equipment — and only used 0.000012% of it.

No worries; it’s someone else’s money.

New York bought a staggering 247,343 medical devices, but only wound up using a laughable three pieces of equipment out of the vast horde.

The waste was compounded by letting the equipment rot away in warehouses rather than selling it.

Of the equipment that requires ongoing maintenance, auditors found that 90% of it is past due, with no process or contract in place to handle that need. Failure to keep up with maintenance risks voiding manufacturer warranties, and also rendering the equipment unusable in an emergency.

No doubt the pricey devices will end up in a landfill — where Cuomo’s political career belongs.

The flagrant waste pales in comparison to the lives Cuomo took by forcing nursing homes to admit Covid patients. He may face criminal prosecution for lying about it.

Persons of Color Exempted From Vaccine Mandate

The many advantages of racial privilege include exemption from vaccine mandates. From 2020:

“Students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or as a Person of Color (BIPOC) may have personal concerns about fulfilling the Compact requirements based on historical injustices and current events,” explains Cornell Health’s vaccine requirement FAQ.

So they could request a racial exemption.

As always where moonbattery prevails, favored groups get special treatment on the patently absurd grounds that they are oppressed. Drones Ivy League Cornell:

We recognize that, due to longstanding systemic racism and health inequities in this country, individuals from some marginalized communities may have concerns about needing to agree to [COVID-19 testing and flu vaccine] requirements.

Caucasians have had concerns too. But their concerns don’t matter, because they are “oppressors” according to woke dogma.

Considering the questions surrounding the Covid jab and the likelihood of another pandemic being in the works, a policy like Cornell’s — if rigorously implemented — might one day allow liberals to achieve their dream of a world without white people.

12-Year-Old Girl Denied Heart Over Covid Vax

They cut off their own children’s genitals to make them LGBT-compliant or even tear them to pieces in the womb. So they won’t lose any sleep over a 12-year-old girl being denied a heart transplant because her family wouldn’t give her the Covid jab:

Adaline Deal, a distant relative of [JD Vance] by marriage through his half-siblings, was born with two rare heart conditions that her family knew would one day require a transplant, her mother Janeen Deal told The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Adaline — who was adopted from China when she was 4 — was treated at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for nearly 10 years, and her parents hoped she would get the transplant there.

But the hospital requires transplant patients to be vaccinated, and declined to make an exemption even when told it goes against the family’s religious beliefs as nondenominational Christians, the parents said.

When will Covid tyranny end? When they launch the next pandemic.
