Twisted recruitment emphasis and indoctrination in leftist ideology may be having the effect you might expect on the US military:

US Air Force member Aaron Bushnell has died from his injuries after setting himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC, an official confirmed on Monday.

Bushnell offered himself up as a human sacrifice on behalf of Hamas in the aftermath of the October 7 terror atrocities.

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide [in Gaza]. I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest,” Bushnell reportedly said, before setting himself ablaze and repeatedly crying out “Free Palestine.”

He died of moonbattery, in which he had been steeped:

“Many of us like to ask ourselves, ‘What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide?’ The answer is, you’re doing it. Right now,” he wrote.

Let’s be thankful Bushnell was not a pilot carrying a nuclear payload. He might have decided to confront white privilege by dropping it on a US city deemed to be insufficiently diverse.

Upon taking power, moonbat apparatchik Lloyd Austin conducted an ideological purge throughout the military. Too bad its purpose was not to root out kooks like Bushnell.

The US Navy is key to preventing communist China from exerting domination over the entire Pacific region at the expense of free countries. To get an idea of where it is heading under liberal rule, consider that when Britain was the world’s preeminent naval power, it maintained a navy at least equal to the combined strength of the next two largest navies in the world. Then came liberal decay. Now it is a joke:

The Royal Navy is redeploying marines and sailors to become diversity and inclusion officers to enhance the “lived experience” of personnel…

The Royal Navy is severely undermanned, largely because the emphasis on discriminating against white men and the sexually normal in the name of diversity/equity/inclusion has caused a recruitment crisis.

The Navy is advertising a role as a diversity and inclusion officer for those ranked Lieutenant Commander or Captain in the Royal Marines. The service is also looking for those ranked petty officers, chief petty officers, sergeants or colour sergeants to transfer to a senior diversity and inclusion policy position. Marines and those who are able seamen are invited to apply for a position in the Navy’s “climate assessment team”.

The Navy’s official diversity and inclusion policy document states that the service conducts climate assessments “to provide all those in command with an independent assessment of the lived experience of personnel”.

Transsexual sailors of preferred non-British ethnicity will have ready access to counseling should exposure to politically incorrect attitudes negatively impact their “lived experience.”

Odds that the Chinese navy wastes resources on climate assessment teams are slim. Small surprise that Britain failed to defend the citizens on Hong Kong when the ChiComs made a mockery of the treaty regarding the former British colony.

The document also outlines different diversity and inclusion roles in the Navy, including diversity advisors, practitioners, and associates; the former two positions help advance “diversity and inclusion in the workplace” while the latter is a more informal role for sailors of any rank to support official diversity officers in their work within units.

Having been subverted by leftists, the Royal Navy now exists primarily to advance leftism:

The Telegraph revealed that an official guide on trans and non-binary awareness told sailors to introduce their pronouns at the start of meetings and interactions.

Sailors were admonished to “avoid microaggressions.”

Personnel problems are so acute that two warships, HMS Westminster and HMS Argyll, have had to be decommissioned to staff a new class of frigates. Calls earlier this year to send the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth to the Red Sea following airstrikes on the Houthi rebels in Yemen were denied due to staff shortages.

Across the Atlantic, as noted recently,

Under Democrat rule, the US Navy is too busy promoting sexual depravity, indoctrinating recruits with loony left ideology, revering child-molesting perverts, and punishing sailors for being Caucasian to defend the USA from foreign invasion by dinghy.

If Britain could destroy its formerly awe-inspiring navy (whose dominance was instrumental in ending the slave trade), so can the USA:

The US Navy is starting to enlist individuals who didn’t graduate from high school or get a GED, marking the second time in about a year that the service has opened the door to lower-performing recruits as it struggles to meet enlistment goals.

The decision follows a move in December 2022 to bring in a larger number of recruits who score very low on the Armed Services Qualification Test.

As in Britain, the Navy’s focus on promoting perversion and punishing Caucasians is not driving the best and the brightest to the recruiting office.

No navy and no country is so great that it cannot be destroyed by moonbattery.

Shortly after taking power, Biden’s elusive Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a military stand-down so that the armed forces could be purged of “extremists.” Looks like the purge was a success — even if veterans remain a growing menace.

Service members don’t participate in violent extremism at higher rates than the rest of the U.S. population, but former troops do — and their involvement is growing, according to research published at the end of December.

Austin’s DoD commissioned the politically driven research.

“[The] review found no evidence that the number of violent extremists in the military is disproportionate to the number of violent extremists in the United States as a whole,” the research says. “Extremism in the veterans’ community has peaks and valleys over recent decades, and currently appears to be on the increase.”

While the study found there were not more violent extremists in the military than in the overall population, researchers did highlight racism and sexism as ongoing problems in the Armed Forces.

The work of social engineers is never finished. But leftists worried that troops might not be willing to fire on fellow Americans can rest assured that the Biden Regime has been working diligently to produce soldiers like these:

The course description for HE 374, Topics In Gender & Sexuality in Literature, begins by tracing the history of gender and sexuality studies from its origin in the women’s studies discipline rooted in the Second Wave Feminism of the 1970’s and 1980’s, according to a syllabus the [Daily Caller News Foundation] obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request. However, the English major course broadens to include studies for future U.S. Navy officers on LGBTQ studies, race, class and concepts informed by Critical Race Theory, which defines people groups in terms of oppressor and oppressed, the syllabus shows.

According to the Cultural Marxist ideology instilled in naval officers, normal Americans are “oppressors” — i.e., the bad guys. It used to be the Navy’s job to defend normal Americans.

The primary texts of the course were “The Reproduction of Mothering: Psychoanalysis and the Sociology of Gender” by Nancy Chodorow and “Sexual/Textual Politics: Feminist Literary Theory” by Toril Moi.

Chodorow’s book dismisses motherhood as a social construct. As for Moi,

Moi’s book imagines a world “beyond the opposition feminine/masculine, beyond homosexuality and heterosexuality,” a review shows.

Homosexuality is now passé. The Navy will be moving beyond it.

The Spring 2023 course was divided into three main sections, starting with “an exploration of the masculine/feminine binary,” then moving to “a historical and contemporary discussion of the rejection and empowerment of specific sexualities” and finally the “utilization of Gender and Sexuality to enforce or deconstruct the othering of nonwestern culture,” the syllabus showed.

None of this is likely to prevent the ChiComs from launching an attack that will dwarf Pearl Harbor and turn the Pacific into a Chinese lake. With Democrats in charge, the Navy has different concerns. It is a social engineering project devoted to moonbattery.

With 37% of US attack subs out of commission, the kooks in charge focus on flight suits for pregnant pilots, name a ship after an infamous child molester, and use a drag queen for recruitment. Liberal control of the military will not end well.
