Leftist Congressional Candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier Declares Her Past Irrelevant

Never mind the warnings about the alarming fanaticism of Darializa Avila Chevalier, who is running for Congress from New York as a Democrat. It turns out that the views she has expressed up to now are no longer relevant.

The New York Post explains why:

Chevalier, the Democratic socialist gunning for Rep. Adriano Espaillat’s seat, wants you to know that her statements about erasing US borders, totally abolishing the “bastard” police, using the American flag as a rag, insisting Israel “doesn’t exist” and cursing black men and Arab men who marry “ugly” white women are irrelevant — simply because she didn’t say any of it this week.

It isn’t that she has changed her mind. It’s just that everything she has said that exposes her as a malevolent radical is “the politics of the past.” Also, she has recently “grown considerably.”

“Grown” obviously really means, I’ve learned not to speak my mind so plainly if I want to win office.

She isn’t the only one.

This is a common dodge among leftist pols, who build up radical cred by making inflammatory comments, only to later declare that radicalism is somehow no longer relevant.

For example,

Running for president in 2019, Kamala Harris said she wanted to ban fracking, favored a government-run universal health system, wanted to decriminalize border crossing and demanded a mandatory federal buyback of “assault weapons.”

“Assault weapons” are those weapons Democrats feel they have the political leverage to confiscate at a particular point in time.

Another example springs to mind:

Graham Platner, running for US Senate in Maine, walked around for 18 years with a Nazi SS death’s-head tattoo, which he brushes off as a youthful enthusiasm; his long history of disparaging the US military, cops, rural Mainers and rape victims is just “stupid joke comments” or a function of his PTSD.

And his dalliances on the predator-friendly Kik platform were a phase in an imperfect marriage … which doesn’t explain why his Kik profile was still active as of last weekend.

So long as the Kik profile is down before election day, that too is “the politics of the past” — like Chevalier characteristically siding with Russia against the USA:

The only way to know for sure whether up and coming Democrats (e.g., Chevalier, Manny Rutinel, Chris Rabb, James Talarico, Mai Vang, Brad Lander, Graham Platner, Maureen Galindo, Shelby Campbell, Raymond Chandler) are who they have been up to now is to give them power over us. But that would not be advisable.

Mothers to Be Called “Gestating Parents” in New York State

Our linguistic overlords sometimes offer us options. Per Democrat rising star James Talarico, women are to be called “neighbors with a uterus.” When referring to mothers in particular, we are supposed to say “lactating individuals.” Those who find that phrase comically awkward can instead say “gestating parent.”

The New York Post reports:

A woke new bill erases the terms “mother” and “father” from state child custody and parental laws — a gender-neutral rewriting that’s expected to spark a flood of similarly clunky legislation.

“Mother” would be replaced with “gestating parent” while “father” becomes “non-gestating parent” or “parent” in family court along with in domestic and education law, under the legislation, passed this week by state Democrats.

The legislation was sponsored by State Senator Luis Sepulveda (D-Bronx) and Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-Westchester). Their fellow moonbat Kathy Hochul can be expected to sign it into law.

Note that woke social engineers intend to obliterate not only motherhood but also fatherhood. The word “paternity” has been struck from the Newspeak Dictionary and replaced by “parentage.” Even deadbeat dads face degendering; rather than “putative fathers,” they must now be called “alleged parents.”

LGBT militants can rejoice in yet another victory handed to them by their liberal champions.

NYPD Infiltrated and Subverted

Twenty-three New York City police officers died during their heroic response to the Muslim terror attacks carried out by Arabs on 9/11. The NYPD was rightly revered. But it took only 25 years of liberal corrosion enabling hijrah to produce this situation — via RAIR:

The NYPD has officially arabified One Police Plaza by recognizing the Arab Officers Association, which now recruits officers by ethnicity and language, hosts Arab heritage festivals inside headquarters, and openly declares itself the ‘voice’ and ‘bridge’ for 22 Arab countries with a seat at the table.

They didn’t sneak in the back door. They held their victory party inside One Police Plaza, the NYPD’s literal command center.

We know what Ground Zero looked like after the Islamic outreach. Here’s what One Police Plaza looks like while hosting the Arab Heritage Festival:

Flags from Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Sudan, and 22 other Arab countries are flying. And the group behind it, the American Arab Association of Arab Officers (AALFA/ALFA), is now fully recognized by the NYPD itself.

The organization was founded by Hassan Diab, who proclaims the following:

“We have a seat at the table… We can speak on behalf of the Arabs.”

“We want more Arabs to join us in the police force… to be the voice.”

“If an Arab police officer comes to you, it’s better… If it’s a foreigner who doesn’t understand the nature of your life… it creates a separation.”

In vanquished New York City, Americans are now the foreigners.

Down on the Democrat Farm: Darializa Avila Chevalier

Sometimes up and coming Democrats find they have been too forthcoming about the opinions that drive them. Then they have to go back and erase history. Graham Platner could tell you all about it. So could Darializa Avila Chevalier.

Chevalier, an affiliate of the Democratic Socialists of America, is challenging Rep. Adriano Espaillat, D-N.Y., for the party’s nomination in the Empire State’s 13th Congressional District, alleging he is excessively moderate and tied to pro-Israel lobbying groups.

Maniacal DSA members like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Zohran Mamdani have been getting elected as Democrats in what could be seen as a hostile takeover of a Democrat Party that has tried and failed to keep pace with the malevolent radicalism of its base.

Speaking of Mamdani, Chevalier has his endorsement.

On Monday, CNN reported that Chevalier had deleted social media posts, including ones advocating “abolishing police, prisons and borders; tweets about communism; calls for open borders and zero deportations; and expletive-laden attacks on Democrats.”

Or at least, on Democrats who fail to keep up.

In 2019, Chevalier wrote in a post, “Seize the means of production,” a reference to a key tenet of communist ideology.

In one 2020 post, Chevalier wrote, “We’re gonna defund and abolish,” in response to a post about police.

Also in 2020, she reposted a post that read, “Israel doesn’t exist!”

That would be wishful thinking from the viewpoint of Chevalier et al.

In 2021, she reposted a call to “abolish the border.”

No need to dig up her old posts. Her kaffiyeh gets across loud and clear that she regards Western Civilization as the enemy and intends to destroy it.

Manny Rutinel. Chris Rabb. James Talarico. Mai Vang. Brad Lander. Graham Platner. Maureen Galindo. Shelby Campbell. Raymond Chandler. Now Darializa Avila Chevalier. A country ruled by these people would not be recognizable as America for long.

Reparations Demands in New York

While regular Americans reflect on the greatness of this remarkable country as we approach its 250th birthday, moonbats twist its history into a pageant of shame to justify looting on a massive scale. Gateway Pundit reports from New York, where both the state and NYC are moving forward with “reparations” — i.e., direct cash handouts for being black, justified by America’s injustice:

FOX News caught up with activists following a New York State Community Commission on Reparations Remedies last Saturday and asked them several questions, including how much the reparations should cost.

One floated the figure of $800,000 apiece.

New Yorkers had differing opinions on what such payments should look like, however. One thought it should operate like a central bank for black people.

“I think it should be, me personally, I think there should be a new Freedmen’s Bureau back, and that is like a central bank almost to Black America and would be distributed to Black communities,” Rex Burns said.

Others said the state government should write a check.

Slavery has not been legal in New York State since 1827, when the last 4,600 slaves were emancipated.

Checks for $800,000 will not satisfy their locust-like greed but only whet their appetite:

“It shouldn’t only be a check, but it should start with a check,” Brooke Lean told Fox News.

In addition to ever more privileged treatment, they will require more checks. If the $trillions looted through the welfare state do not suffice, nothing ever will — not so long as a single penny remains for liberals to confiscate and bestow upon them in reverence for the sacred oppressedness of their distant ancestors.
