Media Backs Lawless Tyranny of Eviction Moratorium

The Democrat plan has long been to impose Marxism by increments. Now that we are approaching the end game, the increments are larger. An example is Biden’s admittedly illegal eviction moratorium — that is, his decree that landlords must house tenants at their own expense.

Biden acknowledges that he does not have the legal authority to inflict this, but boasts that it will take time for courts to stop him. If he makes good on his threat to pack the Supreme Court with Merrick Garland types, he won’t have to worry about that in the future.

The Wall Street Journal accurately describes this as “premeditated lawlessness.”

The original eviction ban, imposed under the previous administration, was an outrage. At least there was the admittedly lame excuse that the government was still in panic mode over Covid. The Supreme Court made clear that the moratorium was allowed to stay in place only because it would soon expire. Now, Covid mortality is under control, and employers are begging workers to come off the government dole and get back to their jobs. Covid is clearly only a pretext.

In justifying the ban, the government cited the Public Health Service Act of 1944. To halt disease, that law says the CDC may require “inspection, fumigation, disinfection, sanitation, pest extermination,” and so forth, with a final catchall phrase for “other measures.”

“Other measures” apparently means that any decree, no matter how outlandishly tyrannical, can be imposed through the CDC if they pretend it is for our health.

There’s no limiting principle.

That’s the point. We are approaching absolute tyranny, as inevitably follows whenever Marxists come to power.

It is bad enough that many landlords will continue to be ruined, as they are forced to provide free housing for parasites, despite relying on rent for income and to pay mortgages on the commandeered property. Added to this, those who disobey will be fined and thrown in prison:

This is an attack on property rights, the sanctity of contracts, the Constitution, and rule of law.

No one familiar with the fate of landlords when communists took control of China will be surprised that landlords are early targets of Marxists here too.

If pushback is not sufficiently forceful, the regime will encroach further on what remains of our freedom.

Mark Milley and the Reichstag Moment

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley is more worried about mythical “white rage” than the People’s Liberation Army because he is more political hack than military leader, hence his current position. Like the figurehead he serves, he tends to be wrong. But sometimes a stopped clock is right.

Milley was allegedly so worried that then-President Donald Trump might attempt a coup after the presidential election last year that he and other service chiefs discussed a plan to resign rather than carry it out, according to reports about a forthcoming book by two Washington Post reporters.

“This is a Reichstag moment… The gospel of the Führer,” Milley told aides, according to CNN, which obtained advance excerpts of the book I Alone Can Fix It by Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker.

What Milley is right about is that there was a Reichstag moment on January 6. A rowdy mob that had been infiltrated by the FBI took advantage of scandalously lax security to trespass in the People’s House, possibly as a result of instigation by agents of the federal government. Although a window broken by a leftist infiltrator and an unauthorized person sitting at Nancy Pelosi’s desk may pale in comparison with burning down the German parliament building, the media/Democrat Party has made up the difference by relentlessly hyping the incident, shrieking that it was more serious than 9/11 and even the Civil War. Just like the Reichstag fire, January 6 has been exploited by the ruling party as a pretext to inflict tyranny, as those who have been hunted by the FBI or locked in solitary confinement for suspicion of trespassing can attest.

Less hilarious than Milley’s hysteria about a Trump coup d’état is his ferociously hostile attitude toward half the American population:

Milley also reportedly told aides ahead of a pro-Trump “Million MAGA March” in November that he feared it could be the “modern American equivalent of ‘brownshirts in the streets,’” referring to the pro-Nazi militia supporting Hitler’s rise.

Despite cheating by Democrats, Trump racked up over 74 million votes in 2020. That is a lot of Nazis to deal with. No worries; Milley and his fellow leftist Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin exhibit the fanatism to handle the job.

Biden Regime Emulates China’s Social Credit System

With technology, China tends to copy the USA, often resorting to theft of intellectual property. But when it comes to imposing totalitarianism, the Chinese are decades ahead of us. Our Democrat rulers have been watching and learning.

Here’s how Wikipedia describes the Social Credit System imposed in communist China:

The Social Credit System is a national blacklist… The program initiated regional trials in 2009, before launching a national pilot with eight credit scoring firms in 2014. … In 2018, these efforts were centralized under the People’s Bank of China with participation from the eight firms. By 2020, it was intended to standardize the assessment of citizens’ and businesses’ economic and social reputation, or ‘Social Credit’.

The credit system is closely related to China’s mass surveillance systems such as Skynet, which incorporates facial recognition system, big data analysis technology, AI and Project Maven.

Playing loud music, jaywalking, making hotel reservations and not showing up, and smoking where you aren’t supposed to are examples of the trivial behavior tracked by the government and applied to your social credit rating. You can improve your credit rating by praising government policies on social media.

Those with low scores may be denied access to public transportation and universities. Those with high scores are rewarded with hiring priority and shorter waiting time at hospitals.

We may soon have a similar system in the USA. Here as in China, it starts with government involvement in credit scoring.

If President Biden has his way, he will create a public credit reporting agency (CRA) to compete with the three major credit bureaus and maybe one day replace them altogether.

With the federal government in charge, your credit rating will have less to do with whether you pay your bills.

The proposal suggests that a government-run CRA could fix a credit reporting system that frequently holds consumers back from becoming homeowners due to problems like credit reporting errors and racial disparities.

The racial emphasis will be the main difference between our Social Credit System and the Chinese original. In order to eliminate “disparities,” whites will be docked points, whereas blacks will have points added.

The financial collapse of 2008 was brought about largely by the federal government leaning on banks to offer mortgages based on race rather than ability to pay, in accordance with another CRA, the Community Reinvestment Act. Here we go again:

The Biden Administration believes a public CRA could advance racial equity by removing obstacles to homeownership for Black, Latino and Native families.

The cultural Marxist applications are endless. Not only Caucasians but people who are heterosexual, cis-gender, Christian, etc. can expect to lose points. Ditto people believed to have attended Trump rallies or other deplorable activities, or who have disseminated “misinformation” online.

If you liked the senseless Covid lockdowns that crippled the economy, cost us $trillions, and caused a mental health epidemic among young people, you will love the climate change lockdowns. Because the climate has always fluctuated and always will, the climate change lockdowns never have to end.

Exploiting the exaggerated crisis of Covid and the imaginary crisis of anthropogenic climate change as pretexts to “build back better” is known among Biden’s handlers and the Davos crowd as the Great Reset. It entails a level of tyranny that would have made Stalin himself gasp in horror.

Biden Regime: Turn In Family for Radicalism

Now that our rulers have designated white people the greatest threat to society, the question is how to keep them in their place. The Biden Regime calls for using the tried and true methods of the East German secret police, the Stasi.

His subjects are encouraged to rat out white supremacists. These can be defined as dissidents who fail to support his party, the ideological basis of which is critical race theory — i.e., hatred of whites.

Biden’s administration announced their plans to create ways for Americans to report radicalized friends and family to the government, in an effort to fight domestic terrorism.

“Domestic terrorism” no longer means what it did after 9/11. Now it refers to a handful of yahoos trespassing at the Capitol — and to those who might agree with their views.

Droned a bureaucrat:

“This involves creating contexts in which those who are family members or friends or co-workers know that there are pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence.”

You have to nip “terrorism” in the bud by isolating those with unapproved opinions.

Biden has explicitly stated that “white supremacy” is the “most lethal threat to the homeland today.” He did not explain what “white supremacy” is, nor has anyone. The term must be left elastic so as to include anyone who needs to be marginalized, demonized, and eventually incarcerated.

“We are investing many agencies of the government and resourcing them appropriately and asking our citizens to participate,” the official said. “Because, ultimately, this is really about homeland security being a responsibility of each citizen of our country to help us achieve.”

Whether monetary incentives will be involved is unclear, but it would certainly help to convince authorities that you are not a white supremacist if you rat out friends, coworkers, and relatives for having “radical” views, such as those contrary to the Democratic Party platform.

History buffs with a chilling sense of déjà vu may be thinking of the 189,000 informants said to have been recruited by East Germany’s Stasi.

An update has been issued to the Newspeak Dictionary. According to Columbia University, whites are no longer to be called Caucasians, on the grounds that whites allegedly draw comfort from the term. Allowing whites to draw comfort is white supremacist, so if you catch anyone using the word “Caucasian,” be sure to inform authorities.
