In Australia, world capital of Covid tyranny run amok, a group of dogs were shot by local officials so as to prevent shelter volunteers from traveling to rescue them.

A watchdog group, the Office of Local Government, says it was informed by the Bourke Shire Council that the dogs had been shot, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. The incident occurred in an attempt to prevent volunteers from another area, Cobar, from traveling to the location.

The volunteers can be thankful they weren’t the ones shot instead. That’s where this is headed.

The 160 mile drive could have resulted in the spread of Covid, because according to Australia’s rulers, the farther you venture from underneath your bed, the more Covid you spread.

Characteristically, moonbat authorities attempt to justify the unjustifiable by wrapping themselves in cultural Marxism:

“So long as Covid is still around” means “so long as any of us are still around.”

Even if Covid surprises everyone by disappearing completely in the foreseeable future, many of the most tyrannical Covid measures would be equally justified from a health perspective by the flu or even the common cold. Curing Covid cannot end authoritarianism. Only effective pushback can.

The Sky News Australia YouTube channel has published more than 20,000 videos over the past year.

No doubt Google employees with the same job title as Winston Smith are pouring over each one to determine which must go down the memory hole before Sky News Australia will be allowed back on the information highway.

It was recently revealed that Sky News Australia has become one of the country’s most engaging news brands across multiple digital platforms and is reaching more than a third of all Australians each month.

That’s why it needs its kneecaps cracked by the Big Tech overlords on behalf of ideological homogeneity.

An Australian couple whose child was reportedly seized by state authorities is appealing a magistrate’s ruling finding them abusive and “dangerous” for resisting testosterone therapy for their daughter, who now identifies as male.

Lawyers for the unidentified parents filed papers last week seeking to appeal a magistrate’s October decision, setting up what appears to be the country’s first test case on parental rights regarding gender dysphoria medicine, the Australian newspaper reported on Saturday. Their child, then 15, was taken away from the family last year, after discussing suicide online.

Allowing the parents to have access to their daughter would interfere with liberal establishment brainwashing to the effect that rather than be the best version of herself she can be, she should attempt to transform herself into something she cannot be.

Plenty of kids pass through dark times as teenagers. Inflicting permanent physical damage in an attempt to transform them into a facsimile of the opposite sex guarantees that they will not pass through to live normal lives.

It is incomprehensible that any government would be wicked enough to inflict such evil as an end in itself. The true end with progressives is always power. If they can brainwash your daughter, confiscate her, and turn her into something from the Island of Dr Moreau, the liberal ruling class is powerful indeed.

Joe Biden plans to help frog march the erstwhile Land of the Free down this same path. He has proclaimed that he will see that the warped Equality Act is enacted in the first 100 days of his presidency. Biden aggressively advocates giving sexually deranged men access to women’s private facilities, forcing women’s sports teams to accept men, subordinating military objectives to grotesque sexual posturing in the armed forces, providing homosexuals with special privileges regarding hiring and promotion, imposing the LGBT agenda on other countries as a centerpiece of American foreign policy, and compelling adoption agencies to turn over children to homosexual households.

Biden takes aim at the First Amendment with plans to ban appropriate psychological counseling for people suffering from gender dysphoria and to remove religious principle as a defense against being forced to participate in LGBT depravity by, for example, surgically mutilating the sexually disoriented.

A government that can do this to society can do anything.
