Katie Hobbs Gives Assist to ChiComs

To be charitable, never attribute to treason what can be explained by foolishness. However, it is hard to believe that even Arizona’s moonbat Governor Katie Hobbs could be this foolish:

Hobbs, who is up for reelection next year, garnered backlash Tuesday after vetoing a bill aimed at preventing China from buying up land next to strategic assets, such as military bases.

Arizona state Senate Majority Leader Janae Shamp said the “politically motivated veto” was “utterly insane,” blaming Hobbs for being “an obstructionist against safeguarding our citizens from threats.” …

Chinese investment in land near military bases has become an increasing concern for national security hawks. Shamp, in her efforts to get the now-vetoed bill passed, cited recent Chinese attempts to lease buildings alongside Arizona’s Luke Air Force Base, where the military trains fighter pilots.

Harvard is effectively working with our ChiCom adversaries. The extent to which the same is true of elected Democrats remains to be learned. They seem to be at best indifferent to our national security.

Meanwhile, two Chinese nationals at the left-wing bastion University of Michigan have been arrested for smuggling into the USA a biological pathogen that could be used for agroterrorism.

No one who means our country well wants us to put our guard down where ChiComs are concerned.

Pride Parade Inside Target Store

Target has been at the vanguard of woke corporations that grind LGBTism in customers’ faces, aggressively targeting children. However, until retail has been socialized, the free market dictates that customers win in the end. This has forced Target to lighten up on the perverted proselytizing:

Target has dramatically rolled back its Pride Month merchandise marketing after the company faced significant backlash from conservative customers in recent years.

Moonbats aren’t taking this lying down:

Once again, children have been recruited on behalf of the LGBT agenda. The sign reading “Trans rights are human rights!!!” confirms that the rainbow bullies believe it is their right to force their repugnant ideology and lifestyle on others.

The Trump Administration is tightening up visa requirements for Chinese communists who come to the USA for training at Harvard — and none too soon:

For decades, the [Chinese Communist Party] has sent thousands of mid-career and senior bureaucrats to pursue executive training and postgraduate studies on U.S. campuses, with Harvard University a coveted destination described by some in China as the top “party school” outside the country. …

Harvard enjoys a sterling reputation among Chinese officials thanks to its record in training highflying bureaucrats who went on to take senior government roles and, in some cases, join the party’s elite Politburo.

The ChiComs are open about their close relationship with likeminded Harvard:

“If we were to rank the Chinese Communist Party’s ‘overseas party schools,’ the one deserving top spot has to be Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in the U.S.,” said a 2014 commentary published by Shanghai Observer, an online platform run by the city’s main party newspaper.

The current regime in China is continuous with Mao Zedong’s, which killed over 70 million of its own people in peacetime. Xi Jinping seeks to displace the USA as the world’s dominant superpower so as to expand communist tyranny.

Xi sent his own daughter to Harvard. He isn’t worried that students will be exposed to dangerous Western ideas about freedom and property rights — not at the leftist school that FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression) ranked dead last in the country for free speech, scoring 0 out of 100:

What’s more, granting Harvard a score of 0.00 is generous. Its actual score is -10.69, more than six standard deviations below the average and more than two standard deviations below the second-to-last school in the rankings, its Ivy League counterpart, the University of Pennsylvania.

The Wall Street Journal’s Gerry Baker emerges from a fog of TDS to praise Trump for declaring the party over:

Trump is right to have identified the [higher education] system as having corrupted our sense of national cohesion and purpose and right again to target Harvard as the symbolic and substantive summit of that system.

The sins of Harvard don’t stop at training our most dangerous adversary’s politburo:

Through its admissions process it has actively discriminated against many of the most gifted Americans based on their skin color. Through its hiring practices and teaching it has created an oppressively intolerant monocultural intellectual microclimate. Through its massive inflation of administrative bureaucracy it has enforced and policed these rigidities at great cost, paid for by steep tuition hikes as its $53 billion endowment has made it a hedge fund with a university attached. And through its aggressive pursuit of international students it has built a little elite globalist community of highly privileged like-minded students and academics.

Harvard is lucky Trump is only limiting Harvard’s access to the taxpayer teat and the influx of ChiCom tyrants in training rather than calling in an airstrike.

LA Bums Drive Doctor Out of Business

The choice is between civilization and the sort of moonbattery that dominates California. An aspect of civilization that will be dearly missed if moonbattery prevails is medical care.

From the Los Angeles suburb Huntington Park:

Dr. Tahani Soliman, owner of a Los Angeles County medical practice, has spent years battling a group of unhoused individuals who have turned her rooftop into their own personal space – terrorizing her staff, setting fires, and creating an unsafe work environment, KTLA News reported.

You can call bums “unhoused individuals” or whatever other euphemism you like, but they will still behave like bums.

For years, the self-employed doctor has endured the homeless encampment consistently taking over her building’s roof – stealing electricity, stripping scrap metal from air conditioning units and even starting trash fires.

She puts up barbed wire to stop derelicts from climbing onto her roof from a neighboring parking structure, where they have established a colony. They repeatedly tear it down.

What are you going to do, call the police? This is California. Single-party Democrat rule means the authorities side with the bums.

Dr. Soliman finally gave up after spending over $100,000 on repairs and fencing necessitated by tramps:

‘No protection for my employees, for my patients or my tenants,’ Soliman told KTLA.

‘That’s why I’m going to retire, because of this, I lost everything.’

You can see why the Los Angeles area is second only to the still more liberal San Francisco area for corporate headquarters moving away.

Unfortunately, not everyone is in a position to escape from the inevitable consequences of putting Democrats in power. Still more unfortunately, some who are bring Democrat voting habits with them.

There is nothing heroic about moonbattery. Yet moonbats have heroes to emulate. These are created by the media. Here it makes a hero out of an intersectional gay Transvestite of Color named Dwayne Dillon a.k.a. Bubblez:

The 43-year-old Marrero (Louisiana) native is a multi-talented force of nature, involved in many vital aspects of New Orleans culture. From second lines and the city’s Black drag scene to recently creating a stunning ensemble for Tarriona “Tank” Ball of Tank and the Bangas to wear at Jazz Fest this year, Bubblez’ influence can be felt throughout the city.

Specifically, Dillon’s influence will likely be felt by troubled and impressionable youth:

Dillon finds it so important to mentor young drag artists in the city, just as others mentored him. He’s part of the House of Alexander drag family, which got him into drag, and estimates he now has around 20 “drag children” or mentees.

The media still has some work to do:

Bubblez isn’t quite the household name you’d think he’d be. But that could be ready to change.

To advance that objective, the piece hypes an upcoming video hagiography of Bubblez directed by one Jacquelyn Shulman.

Shulman hopes the documentary will show people that drag actually can keep young people out of trouble and give them an outlet for navigating their emotions.

“The crazy thing is all of this talk about, ‘oh, corrupting kids and saving kids,’ and it’s like, this is saving lives. This is putting youth on a great path,” she says.

If troubled children are not shoved along the “great path” of LGBTism, they will commit suicide. This lie, employed as emotional blackmail against parents by healthcare professionals, has resulted in any number of ruined bodies, minds, and lives. In reality, sex change surgery — the ultimate culmination of LGBTification — raises suicide risk 12-fold.

Dems Alarmed by Enforcement of Law

Lack of self-awareness allows Democrats to achieve staggering levels of hypocrisy. After DHS agents were physically prevented from checking the office of Jerrold Nadler for rioters he was suspected of harboring, the New York congresscritter ironically accused the agency of “sowing chaos” by attempting to enforce the law.

One of Nadler’s staffers even had to be handcuffed, evidently for the safety of the agents. No arrests were made. Yet the Weeble warbled:

“I am alarmed by the aggressive and heavy-handed tactics DHS is employing in New York City and across the country.”

Democrats don’t like it that DHS has been undoing their work by enforcing immigration law.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson had an apt response:

“It’s shameful that Russia hoaxer and Trump derangement sufferer Jerry Nadler would choose to attack law enforcement officers for doing their job because he disagrees with President Trump’s immigration policy.”

Nadler’s rhetoric has been echoed and amplified by other New York Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, whose response was ominous:

Jeffries previously dubbed the arresting of Congressional Democrats a “red line,” but caveated that Dems will decide how to respond “in a time, place, and manner of our choosing.”

The retaliation for arresting Democrats when they break the law (i.e., pols who attack ICE agents) might be the arrest of their opponents regardless of the law, as soon as political leverage allows. Consider that Trump was found guilty of 34 felony charges of nothing in particular in a New York kangaroo court. Allowing radicalized Democrats to regain power would be disastrous.
