Everything that happens can be exploited to advance the liberal agenda. It just takes a lot of spin. Even the assassination by an LGBT moonbat of a great man for being conservative can be spun to Democrat advantage. Florida State Representative Ashley Viola Gantt demonstrates how.

The Florida House of Representatives approved a bill on Wednesday to establish an official Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance. The legislation picked Oct. 14, Kirk’s birthday, and the bill passed in an 82–31 party-line vote.

Additionally, the House voted 82–30 to designate a portion of S.W. 107th Avenue in Miami-Dade County as “Kirk Memorial Avenue.”

State Rep Gantt is not happy about it. But when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

She took the opportunity to insult Kirk, calling this towering figure “mediocre at best” and worse yet, from a liberal perspective, “racist” and “divisive.” His assassination was not yet another example of leftist violence; it was “gun violence,” supporting the liberal objective of rendering us defenseless by disarming us. Also, it was “white on white” violence, supporting the narrative that whites are the violent ones, despite proportionately committing a small fraction of the crime as her own demographic.

Kirk’s assassination does not even deserve to be called an assassination, as he was not “in a political position.” Never mind that, as Not the Bee reminds us, Kirk…

…worked harder than anyone to get Donald Trump elected and held political rallies across the country for more than a decade.

Florida does not need this “damn remembrance,” as Gantt puts it, because:

“Charlie Kirk was not someone who children in the state of Florida should be subjected to honoring.”

Transsexual Shoots at Border Agent

The liberal establishment does all it can to promote transsexual lunacy. So it figures that transsexual violence sometimes has an apparent political aspect. Lately, Democrats have focused their malice on those who defend the USA from foreign invasion. Now NH Journal reports:

The suspect who shot at a border agent over the weekend has been identified as Cullan Zeke Daly, 26, a Manchester man who uses the feminine identity Blu Zeke Daly.

Daly faces up to 40 years in prison on charges of attempted murder of a federal officer and assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon.

The only one who got shot was the troon. He is recovering in the hospital while lawyers no doubt prepare his insanity defense.

The identity of the border agent has not been made public.

Good thing. If moonbats would threaten the families of children murdered in a transsexual school shooting, imagine what they would do to kids of a border agent involved in a transsexual getting shot. ICE agents wear masks for a reason.

Although he luckily failed to inflict injury, let’s hope Daly will rest on his laurels if we grant him a spot in the Transsexual Violence Hall of Horrors anyway. With liberals, it is only intentions that count, not actual consequences.

Wokescolds Come After Victim of Tourette Syndrome

What does it take to produce evidence of racism against politically sacred blacks? Maybe a bad case of Tourette syndrome.

The BBC issued an apology on Sunday after a racial slur was shouted by an audience member with Tourette syndrome during a broadcast of the 79th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs).

The forbidden word constituted the ultimate blasphemy in the liberal establishment’s religion.

John Davidson, who has severe Tourette syndrome and was the inspiration for the BAFTA-nominated biographical film “I Swear,” was heard shouting the n-word while Black actors Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were on stage. During other portions of the program, Davison was heard shouting profanities including “f— you” and “shut the f— up.”

No one cared about the other profanities. But self-righteous moonbats came after him for the forbidden n-word. Never mind that Davidson was there specifically because he has a condition that can force people to blurt out what they least want to say. A stage manager had even warned the audience beforehand.

Wokescolds have no grace. Snarls former ESPN anchor Jemele Hill:

“Black people are just supposed to be ok with being disrespected and dehumanized so that other people don’t feel bad.”

But wait, Davidson has a disability. Doesn’t that make him sacred too?

The incident provides insight into the mentality of the liberal mob that digitally lynched him for something he obviously could not help. As the Critical Drinker observes,

“For all their high-minded talk of tolerance, empathy, and understanding, they really can’t seem to form a mental map of any mind that operates differently from their own. That’s why they can’t conceive that people might have different opinions from them, different worldviews, or in this case, different ways of processing words and thoughts.”

Moonbat Actress Says We Want Tasteless Art Because Autocracy

On the final block of Tuesday’s Morning Joe, actress Carrie Coon, best known for her role in The White Lotus, promoted her performance in the Broadway play Bug by use of political parallels and complaints about conspiracies as she proclaimed audiences were yearning for “darkness, for irreverence, for nudity, for blood” in the face of America’s purported “autocracy.”

Considering how loudly they bark about not liking the president, how can left-wingers in the arts community claim to be oppressed by autocracy? Because the Party of Government is not currently in charge and consequently some of the coercive funding by which they feed off taxpayers on an involuntary basis has been reduced.

Ms. Loon also informs us that…

“…art has a responsibility in times like these. And when you start to experience the repression of autocracy, art rises up and starts to get more irreverent and more gross and more in-your-face.”

She sees this as “a necessary correction.”

Needless to say, there isn’t any irreverent art in an actual autocracy, since artists can only attack what the regime wants them to. Or maybe we do need to say it, with propaganda outlets like MS Now platforming pernicious morons like Carrie Coon.

Sex Offender Running for Fresno City Council

The next step after enabling criminals is placing them in a position to rule us directly. Daily Caller reports on a Fresno City Council candidate:

Rene Campos, a registered sex offender, has launched a campaign to represent Fresno, California’s District 7, ABC30 reported Wednesday.

Campos, who was charged with possession of child sexual abuse material in 2018, says his campaign will focus on safety.

Whose safety?

Campos told ABC30 he has “experienced the laws” his team is “trying to reform.”

Reform them enough and we won’t have any laws.

Fortunately for Campos, representatives of criminals are already in charge:

The candidate, who was initially charged with a felony count of possessing child sexual abuse material, only served 27 days in prison according to court records, with the rest of his sentence being served as “treatment” or rehabilitation.

CEO in Homeless–Industrial Complex Charged With Misappropriating Over $1.2 Million in Public Funds

The homeless–industrial complex is a lucrative sector of the economy. However, liberal establishment grifters are advised that if they are dumb enough they can still get in trouble, even in deep blue California. National Review reports on Gwendolyn Westbrook, former CEO of the United Council of Human Services:

The former CEO of a San Francisco-based homelessness nonprofit was charged Monday with nine felony counts after allegedly misappropriating more than $1.2 million in public funds.

In addition to the $1.2 million,

Court documents show that other large amounts of money are also missing from UCHS accounts.

Westbrook represents the tip of an iceberg:

The state of California spent $24 billion from 2019 to 2024 to address homelessness but officials are unsure exactly how the money was spent, according to a state audit released last year, which found that no systems were in place to track expenditures.

Regarding the return taxpayers get for their money,

Over the five-year period covered by the audit, California’s homeless population grew by 20 percent, from 151,278 in 2019 to 181,399 in 2023.

From the viewpoint of Gavin Newsom et al., this represents success. Spending other people’s money on homelessness results in more homelessness, which facilitates ever greater access by Democrats to other people’s money.

Charlotte’s First EV Fire Truck Does Not Work

Another historic first: moonbat-ruled Charlotte has its first electric fire truck. It is turning out as you might expect.

A little more than a month after the Charlotte Fire Department held a ceremony celebrating the city’s first all-electric fire station and fire truck, the city’s electric fire truck is in the shop.

It cost taxpayers $1.9 million. That’s about twice what it would cost for a similarly sized real fire truck that would actually work. But think how much cooler the weather will be due to the reduction in harmless CO2 emissions.

Fortunately,

A reserve engine is in service to ensure an uninterrupted response.

Good thing, because EVs are not known for their reliability. They often do not work in cold weather such as Charlotte has recently experienced.

Similarly, fossil fuel plants must be ready to step in when solar and wind turbine boondoggles fail to provide sufficient power, until such a time as the global warming hoax finally collapses.
