Boston Classroom Windows Open in Winter Because Covid

When moonbats inflict Covid policy on children, there is a thin line between hysteria and sadism:

Parents have been forced to send their children to school dressed in multiple layers of winter clothing because of a Boston Public Schools mandate that windows be kept open 4 inches to mitigate the spread of Covid.

Based on the remote chance that leaving the windows open will prevent children from coming down with a runny nose from the mild Omicron variant that hardly affects kids anyway, parents are advised to send kids to school wearing “2 pairs of pants, 2 shirts and a sweater, 2 pairs of socks, etc.”

The only thing children are likely to learn while chattering from the cold is that the grownups in charge are nuts.

Meanwhile,

Mary Dibinga, a Boston Latin Academy teacher, suggested to the School Committee that many of the Covid rules are arbitrarily implemented, given that the school buses she’s seen have been packed with students with no social distancing due to a driver shortage.

The driver shortage probably has something to do with other lunatic Covid policies that prevent people from working if they will not submit to a vaccine they do not want or feel they need.

The spike in Omicron cases has sent school districts across the country into a panic, moving them to impose bizarre Covid mitigation measures such as forcing children to eat lunch, and teachers to take instruction, outside in frigid temperatures, while masked.

Absurdly, this nonsense is supposedly imposed for the sake of children’s health.

Forcing children to wear Covid muzzles is also cruel and unhealthy.

Democrats Endorse Authoritarianism in Name of Covid

There seems to be no limit to Democrat extremism, because so many live within ideological bubbles where it is socially unacceptable to question leftism. This combined with Covid hysteria has produced alarming attitudes among significant numbers of Democrats, as unveiled in a recent Heartland Institute/Rasmussen Reports survey.

Seventy-eight percent of Democrats favor Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate, despite the CDC admitting that vaccines do not prevent people from spreading the disease, and despite the dominant Omicron variant being relatively mild.

Seventy-five percent still view Anthony Fauci favorably, despite his conspicuous cluelessness, felonious lying to Congress, and likely role in financing the creation of Covid.

Here’s where it gets really scary:

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. …

Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. …

Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. …

Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Democratic voters would support temporarily removing parents’ custody of their children if parents refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

To sum up, a significant percentage of Democrats would support straightforward authoritarianism of the sort imposed in communist China or the USSR.

As always, leftist attitudes are driven by the media:

The Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board penned an article titled “Utah leaders have surrendered to COVID pandemic” on Saturday. The editorial board calls on Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) to use the National Guard to confine unvaccinated Utahns to their homes, and would not allow them outside, even to go to the grocery store.

Eventually, even the media will have to admit that Covid is over as a crisis. But there will always be another crisis.

Lists Compiled of Religious Vaccine Objectors

Work is already piling up for the weaponized Justice Department’s new domestic terrorism task force. Lists of names require investigation.

The Washington Times reports:

An obscure federal agency has proposed creating a database capturing the names and “personal religious information” of government employees who submit “religious accommodation requests” to be exempted from the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The agency in question is the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia, which published a “notice of a new system of records” on Tuesday. It isn’t alone.

At least seven other federal agencies, including five Cabinet departments, are apparently setting up similar “personal religious information” databases, according to an analyst at the Heritage Foundation…

The federal departments of Treasury, the Interior, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, and Transportation, as well as the General Services Administration and the Securities and Exchange Commission, have each published proposed rule-makings to implement “systems of records” tracking their workers’ religious accommodation requests.

Whatever reasons the Biden Administration has for compiling lists of employees who are recalcitrantly religious, it isn’t because religious objections to Covid mandates are taken seriously. The Daily Signal notes that the Department of Defense “has failed to grant a single religious exemption on behalf of any service members requesting one for the federal vaccine mandate.”

Smoking Gun on Covid Origins and Fauci Perjury?

We may be close to confirming that Covid was engineered at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, that Tony Fauci helped finance its development, and that Fauci lied to Congress regarding the funding of gain of function research.

Via Project Veritas:

Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) develops technologies such as nuclear missiles for military purposes. It regarded the research that apparently created Covid as too dangerous to pursue. But the NIAID and NIH under Tony Fauci and his fellow dissent-suppressing technocrat Francis Collins apparently felt otherwise and provided funding.

Fauci has repeatedly maintained, under oath, that the NIH and [NIAID] have not been involved in gain of function research with the EcoHealth Alliance program. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function.

Further revelations relate to the concealment of documents and the suppression of curatives like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

If the veracity of this DARPA memo can be confirmed, the implications are astounding:

SARS-CoV-2 is an American-created recombinant bat vaccine, or its precursor virus. It was created by an EcoHealth Alliance program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as suggested by the reporting surrounding the lab leak hypothesis. The details of this program have been concealed since the pandemic began. …

SARS-CoV-2’s form as it emerged is likely as a precursor, deliberately virulent, humanized recombinant SARSr-CoV that was to be reverse engineered into a live attenuated SARSr-CoV bat vaccine.

But then Frankenstein’s monster slipped out of the laboratory. The rest is history.

Fordham University Bans Drinking Water Because Covid

College campuses are a corner of life where leftists enjoy near total hegemony. Imagine a college campus in New York City. In a place like that, anything whatsoever might be banned in the name of Covid hysteria — even drinking water out of your own bottle.

The Observer, Fordham’s student paper, reports on the school’s tightened Covid policies:

Fordham also updated its policies for eating and drinking in spaces on campus. Eating or drinking will be prohibited at athletic events until further notice. Food and drink are not allowed in classrooms and instructional spaces such as libraries or laboratories. Throughout the month of January, eating and drinking will also not be permitted at any events or meetings.

In New York, breathing has been restricted even for toddlers for fear that it might spread Covid. If we don’t need to breathe, why should we need to eat and drink?

As The College Fix notes of Fordham,

The student body is more than 99 percent vaccinated as of September, and “no unvaccinated individuals [are] allowed on campus except for individuals with official accommodations or those still completing their vaccination series.”

As we have learned, getting vaccinated is only the beginning. Fordham suffers a Covid infection rate of 0.3%, so draconian measures must be taken.

Thanks to the mildness of the predominant Omicron variant, dehydration may be a more serious health threat to Fordham students than Covid.

Leftist Supremes Reveal Cluelessness on Covid

The Supreme Court has been debating whether to endorse Biden’s exploitation of federal agencies to circumvent our constitutional republican form of government in the name of Covid hysteria. This has revealed at least one Justice to be a clueless fool. I refer to the self-described “wise Latina,” Obama-appointed identity group box-checker Sonia Sotomayor.

The Blaze reports:

While hearing oral arguments for and against President Joe Biden’s employer vaccine mandate, Sotomayor claimed that 100,000 children in the United States are hospitalized and in “serious condition” with COVID-19.

Even the moonbats at PolitiFact gasped at that whopper:

“At the time she made this comment, federal data showed that fewer than 5,000 coronavirus-positive children were in the hospital. In fact, fewer than 83,000 children have been hospitalized for COVID-19 — cumulatively — since August 2020.”

It is probable that the vast majority of hospitalized coronavirus-positive children have been suffering from unrelated conditions, if not for which they would never have known they had Covid.

PolitiFact had no choice but to rate Sotomayor’s silly claim false, although it withheld its “Pants of Fire” rating, probably out of respect for her leftist orientation. It ignored her erroneous statement that “Omicron is as deadly as Delta.” Even Tony Fauci, the face of technocracy, admits that it is not.

Sotomayor’s fellow leftist Stephen Breyer deserves a Pants on Fire rating too, for suggesting that a vaccine mandate would prevent all Covid cases. It has been common knowledge for some time that the virus spreads among the vaccinated. Breyer also claimed that “750 million new cases” had been reported in the USA on Thursday. The population of the USA is 330 million.

As for the other hardcore moonbat on the Court, National File reports:

Justice Elena Kagan falsely claimed that the best way to stop the transmission of COVID-19 was by strongly incentivising people to get injected with vaccines and wear masks.

Masks do not stop the spread of Covid.

Good thing it is not the job of these three stooges to set healthcare policy; they are not well informed on the issue. Unfortunately, they may be just as unqualified to rule sensibly on whether Biden’s decrees are lawful and constitutional.

Liberal WaPo gave Sotomayor 4 Pinocchios for her ludicrous assertion that 100,000 American children are in serious condition with Covid.

Either Sotomayor is dumb enough to believe her own wild claim, or she is dumb enough to believe that everyone else is dumb enough. Either way, it is disturbing to have someone with her radical viewpoint and limited cognitive capacity in a position of such power.

Still more alarming is how liberals shift the debate from “Should Biden exercise unlimited power through federal bureaucracies like OSHA?” to “Is Covid a big enough problem to justify throwing the American system of government overboard in favor of authoritarianism?”

Washington State Plans Covid Concentration Camps

They have them in Australia and Canada. Why shouldn’t we have them in the USA? Authoritarians are planning concentration camps for those they want held in isolation in the name of Covid.

From the moonbat-ruled state of Washington comes a bill called WAC 246-100-040. It starts out like this:

At his or her sole discretion, a local health officer may issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine in accordance with subsection (3) of this section, or may petition the superior court ex parte for an order to take the person or group of persons into involuntary detention for purposes of isolation or quarantine …

Now that any extreme of tyranny can be justified to the media’s satisfaction in the name of public health, health officers are the new Gestapo:

A local health officer may invoke the powers of police officers, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and employees of any political subdivisions within the jurisdiction of the health department to enforce immediately orders given to effectuate the purposes of this section …

Reportedly, internment camps have already been constructed in the Evergreen State. Video apparently of a Covid quarantine site under construction in Washington was posted here previously. The administration of leftist Governor Jay Inslee — who ran for president on a platform consisting almost entirely of global warming hysteria — has been recruiting what it has called “strike teams” to run the camps.

Maybe Democrats won’t need global warming after all. Even as it peters out into the mild Omicron variant, Covid may serve as pretext enough to impose Total Government.

As noted earlier, the People’s Republic of New York has already produced legislation allowing for the internment of undesirables in the name of public health. Naziesque Assembly Bill A416 has passed the Assembly and the Senate and only needs the signature of Governor Kathy Hochul to become law. Hochul is a tyrant who has squeezed every drop of power she can get out of Covid (see here, here, here, and here). She can be expected to sign the alarming bill.

The CDC has already taken steps to impose Covid quarantine camps at the federal level.

It becomes increasingly obvious that the exploitation of Covid by authoritarians is more dangerous than Covid itself. With Democrats controlling nearly every lever of power, there is no guarantee that even the most fundamental liberties will survive.
