Homeless Illegal Alien Arsonist Arrested in LA

The liberal policies of leaving the border open and facilitating homelessness have subjected California to hordes of illegal aliens and derelicts. Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva meets both descriptions:

A man was detained by residents near the Kenneth Fire in West Hills, California, after being caught with a blowtorch. The individual, identified as Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva, has been confirmed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) sources to be an illegal immigrant from Mexico.

LA being a liberal jurisdiction,

But officials later said they lacked the probable cause to arrest him on arson charges and instead arrested him on a probation violation.

If he is an illegal alien and he is on probation, he should not have been running around with a blow torch. He should have been in prison prior to deportation. Correct that; he should never have entered the country in the first place, because it should be the first priority of the military to defend the border from foreign invasion.

Once the moonbats in charge let him loose again, he will go back to starting fires:

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials are planning to place a detainer request on Sierra-Leyva, but they do not expect it to be honored due to California’s sanctuary state law, Bill Melugin reports.

As Los Angeles demonstrates, it is not feasible to live under liberal rule.

The city may never rebuild. God help the USA if those escaping the mess they made of it spread their moonbattery throughout the country.

Hunter Biden Isn’t the Only One Above the Law

Moonbattery is the inversion of morality. The good guys are the bad guys; the bad guys are the good guys. Just ask Will Luna, owner of a retro video arcade in San Bernardino, California:

A crew of thugs from a local homeless encampment robbed and trashed the arcade over the Thanksgiving holiday; someone spotted the loot in the encampment and Luna went to investigate and found some of the stolen merch.

But when he went to the cops, he was told they could not enter or move the tents: “They said, ‘We can’t go inside, but you can,’” per Luna.

The gutsy Luna personally recovered some of his property from the camp full of drug fiends, lunatics, and criminal scumbags. As for the rest of it:

Vanished — including thousands of dollars worth of PlayStation and Nintendo consoles and a vintage X-Men arcade game.

Luna isn’t the only one to suffer:

All the businesses at this retail plaza have suffered break-ins as the camps have grown over recent years.

Bums from the unflushed encampments even masturbate in front of the windows of a neighboring salon.

You can’t expect much help from authorities in the Land of Fruits and Nuts. According to the prevailing ideology, business owners are capitalist oppressors; vagrant scumbags are oppressed.

Squatters and Graffiti Vandals Hit Hollywood Hills

The pink elitists comprising our ruling class seem to believe they can destroy America for the little people without wrecking for themselves. Inner cities are hideous hellholes and normal people who can’t afford armed security are set upon by feral vermin as society collapses into lawlessness thanks to liberal policies, but places like Hollywood Hills remain immune. Or maybe not:

What was once a posh mansion in California’s Hollywood Hills section has turned into an eyesore after it was taken over by squatters and taggers.

Local police have been rendered largely irrelevant in liberal enclaves like Los Angeles.

One neighbor said 911 has been called several times just in the past week.

To no avail. Clear them out, back they come within an hour.

It’s worse than just an eyesore:

“Apparently, some squatters came and actually attacked one of the neighbors with steel rebar and [a] beer bottle,” the neighbor said.

In desperation, they are leaving no stone unturned:

Neighbors also say they’ve reached out to L.A. Councilwoman Nithya Raman’s office but haven’t had much luck with a resolution.

Raman identifies as a homelessness advocate. Like most Democrats in positions of power, she is unlikely to side with the law-abiding.

Homeowner Ordered Out on Behalf of Squatters

Kentucky homeowner Daniel Toma found out what it means to live in a country where property rights are not respected after he allowed a couple to stay in his garage temporarily and they refused to leave. A judge ordered him out of his own house:

“[They] were working on the car for days in the driveway, I didn’t want to throw them out on the street. I was just trying to be kind,” he said.

However, the guests put a mattress in the garage in mid-July and ended up never leaving.

Toma said they started getting mail, had Spectrum cable installed and even changed the lock on his garage without any type of rental agreement between them.

When he asked them to leave, they brandished their “squatters’ rights.”

Squatter Tyler Sencuk got into a fight with one of Toma’s roommates…

Sencuk then filed an emergency protective order against Toma, which a judge granted, forcing him to stay 500 feet away from them or his house.

“I feel like I have no power. I feel like I have no rights,” Toma said.

Actually, now that Toma is homeless, he does have rights. He has a right to live as a squatter in someone else’s house against their will.

Free Luxury Housing for Bums

These days the American dream of owning their own home is beyond the reach of many young people, mainly due to the crushing burden of excessive government, which has driven up interest rates and the cost of housing. Their problem is, they are going about it the wrong way. Instead of getting a job and working hard so they can afford a mortgage, they should quit their jobs, blow their money on fentanyl, and spend their time defecating on the sidewalk. That would earn them the reverence of the liberal establishment, which bestows extravagant privileges on those it adores — including luxury housing. No need to own a home when Big Government provides for you:

It would be nice to think that at some point, the people who are effectively enslaved through taxation so as to pay for this will push back. But apparently it is too late for that to happen in California.

Newsom Touts California as Model for Homelessness

Formerly conservative California, which used to epitomize the American Dream and which launched Ronaldus Maximus from governor to president, is a model for leftists throughout the country when it comes to achieving political dominance through demographic transformation. As Gavin Newsom triumphantly affirms, it is also a model regarding homelessness, a crisis that Democrats have exacerbated for nefarious political purposes.

California achieved its stratospheric homelessness level by spending money to grow it. This spending continues to escalate:

[Newsom] announced a $3.3 billion fund for California counties to tackle rampant homelessness, including a mental health initiative he pushed for.

Crowed Newsom:

“We have a national model.”

Twenty-eight percent of the homeless in the USA subsist in the erstwhile Golden State.

That figure marked a 40 percent increase from the rate it was at five years ago, reports CalMatters. …

In Los Angeles, which has more homeless people than any other US city at a staggering 65,111 people according to a separate 2023 California Senate report, the rate increased by nine percent in 2023 compared to the previous year.

California is a national model, all right — assuming that the objective is to reduce America to a Third World slum.

It isn’t just the warm weather:

[A federal report] found that the number of ‘unsheltered’ people – those not in any form of government housing or shelter and instead sleep on the streets – in California accounted for 49 percent of the entire nation’s tally.

At over 123,000 unsheltered homeless people in California, the state held a rate eight times higher than the second worst state, Florida, which had just 15,000.

That which the government wants to abolish, it taxes. That which it wants more of, it subsidizes. This is why California so lavishly subsidizes homelessness.

Newsom touted Proposition 1, which pours money on the homeless and mandates that counties…

…spend two-thirds of the money gained from a 2004 tax on millionaires solely on mental health services.

Fewer millionaires, more mentally ill derelicts. Sounds like a plan for consolidating leftist rule.

San Francisco Provides Free Alcohol to Drunken Bums

If moonbats are insane enough to give free needles to drug fiends, why not provide free vodka shots to drunken bums? No really:

San Francisco is handing out bottles of beer, glasses of wine and shots of vodka to homeless alcoholics – and spending $5m a year on the program.

It’s okay; it’s all supervised by Experts:

The alcoholic drinks are served by nurses as part of the city’s ‘managed alcohol program’, which has been running for four years, as a way of taking care of vulnerable homeless people.

No reason to be stingy; taxpayers have plenty of money:

Nurses assess patients and typically serve them the equivalent of 1-2 drinks between three and four times a day — handing out either 1.7 ounces of vodka or liquor (about a shot), 5 ounces of wine (1 glass) or 12 ounces of beer – about three-quarters of a pint.

Next will be taxpayer-funded kiddy porn for vulnerable pedophiles.

California Court Decrees Free Parking for Vagrants

Being a vagabond does not confer the privileges enjoyed by the sexually insane and members of favored races, but in California it does come with perks — including free parking.

That’s the main takeaway from a California Court of Appeals opinion issued Friday that ruled cities that tow cars with five or more unpaid parking tickets violate the 4th Amendment’s prohibition of search and seizure without a warrant.

The Coalition on Homelessness sued the City and County of San Francisco seeking an injunction against towing scofflaw cars that piled up parking tickets, and the trial court had denied the petition. But the Court of Appeals reversed, because “appellant [Coalition on Homelessness] presented declarations regarding the severe impacts of vehicle tows on unhoused San Francisco residents.”

The interests of The Unhoused (formerly known as bums) take priority in places like San Francisco. Those who don’t like it are homelessophobes.

Good luck finding a parking place that isn’t taken up by a dead vehicle housing a dope fiend.
