A former Seattle tech worker convicted of several charges related to a massive hack of Capital One bank and other companies in 2019 was sentenced Tuesday to time served and five years of probation.

The time served was just a few months.

U.S. District Judge Robert S. Lasnik said sentencing former Amazon software engineer Paige Thompson to time in prison would have been particularly difficult on her [sic] “because of her [sic] mental health and transgender status,” the Department of Justice said in a statement.

Prosecutors had asked for 7 years. No doubt they would have gotten it, were Paige a normal person. But since he goes around in women’s clothes, it would be transphobic to hold him accountable for his criminal behavior.

Thompson, 37, obtained the personal information of over 100 million people — a data breach that prompted Capital One to reach a $190 million settlement with affected customers.

The Treasury Department fined the company $80 million for failing to protect the data.

That’s a lot of damage. But prison might be stressful for a sensitive guy like Paige.

Taylor is an activist on behalf of the organization Direct Action Everywhere. A fellow member of the organization, Allison Fluty, tried to run onto the gridiron as well, but was tackled by security before reaching the playing field.

They sought to bring attention to a trial in which two animal rights activists are facing charges for stealing two pigs from a factory farm in Utah in 2017.

The organization called the hit on the activist a “blatant assault.”

If Taylor really wants the police involved, they ought to arrest him for trespassing, disorderly conduct, and being a sniveling jackass. Then a judge ought to sentence him to serve as a tackling dummy for the Rams for the rest of the season.

According to a sector-wide survey, out of 44 environment charities, 84% had considered or were taking action over a lack of inclusion, but only 4% said they had a consistently implemented action plan. …

[W]hile 86% of leaders agreed it should be a top priority for the sector, only 22% felt it actually was. …

[I]n 2021, just 4.8% of environment professionals had an ethnic minority heritage, compared with 12.6% of the workforce overall, according to official figures. Only farming had lower ethnic minority representation.

Only countries populated by whites or Asians are economically successful enough to indulge in environmentalism rather than focus on staving off starvation. Asians don’t seem that interested, and whites are politically unclean.

The current solution to this conundrum is to displace the population of white countries. But as the USA and UK come to resemble Venezuela and Jamaica, they will develop more pressing problems than the imaginary climate crisis.

The LGBT example suggests a more sensible solution. If men can identify as women and vice versa, why can’t the moonbats of the environmental movement identify as members of preferred races? The strategy works for Rachel Dolezal, who has launched a new career as a transracial lingerie model.

Some in the LGBT community identify as nonbinary, meaning that they are neither one sex nor the other. Likewise, environmentalists could identify as nonracial. That way, they could leap ahead to the day when miscegenation blends all races into one. As the ideological homogeneity of college faculties and newsrooms attests, only when we are all the same can we achieve true diversity.

A man who identified himself only as “Kem” saw people tweeting about using 3D printers to make guns for the sole purpose of selling them for big bucks at gun buyback programs, like the one the New York State Attorney General’s Office held at the Utica Police Department last month. He got to work on a $200 3D printer he got for Christmas.

After printing up some lower receivers and frames, he drove 6 hours to Utica. There was some haggling over the 110 guns he presented.

“And it ended with the guy and a lady from the budget office finally coming around with the 42 gift cards and counting them in front of me,” said Kem. “$21,000 in $500 gift cards.”

You’re welcome, say the taxpayers. If they weren’t okay with flagrant waste, they wouldn’t elect Democrats. They certainly wouldn’t elect irresponsible fools like New York State Attorney General Letitia James.

Gifted as they are at throwing away money, moonbats fail at everything else they attempt. As Kem accurately observes,

“Gun buybacks are a fantastic way of showing, number one, that your policies don’t work, and, number 2, you’re creating perverse demand. You’re causing people to show up to these events, and, they don’t actually reduce crime whatsoever.”

Unless our rulers are even dumber than I thought, they don’t really expect these wasteful spectacles to reduce crime. That is not a priority for James, who has effectively legalized minor crime. Their actual purpose is to pose self-righteously as opponents of gun violence. However, the farcical nature of buybacks is so obvious that not even this purpose is served. They are not virtue signaling; they are idiocy signaling.

In August, James’s office triumphantly crowed that it had acquired 296 guns to be destroyed. Of these, 177 were “ghost guns” — i.e., homemade guns, possibly created to be sold to the state; 33 were admittedly “non-working guns.”

If there is any confusion among women regarding their status relative to men who pretend to be women, this story ought to clear it up. In Vermont, the Randolph High School girls basketball team has been banned from its own locker room while educrats investigate the girls for objecting to the presence of a boy who says he is transsexual.

Refreshingly, female student and volleyball player Blake Allen stands up for sanity:

“I feel like for stating my opinion — that I don’t want a biological man changing with me — that I should not have harassment charges or bullying charges. They should all be dropped.”

The dispute started when the transsexual made an inappropriate comment while the girls were getting changed.

[Miss Allen] says that fellow team members and parents have also raised similar concerns and have approached the school with them. They were told that under state law, the transgender student could use whatever locker room [he] identified with.

In an email to families, school officials wrote that the school has “plenty of space where students who feel uncomfortable with the laws may change in privacy.”

This refers to a restroom. Boys who proclaim themselves to be transsexual have access to this too, so the girls would have to change one at a time in the single stall, which hopefully has a secure lock. If that takes too long, maybe there are some bushes outdoors they can change behind.

In the email to parents, school officials say they are conducting an investigation into allegations the girls harassed the transgender student.

Kudos to the girls for incurring the wrath of the liberal establishment by standing up to an LGBT bully. Very few have the spine to do that nowadays, which is why these bullies are running roughshod over every aspect of society.

Newsom signed AB 2098 by Assemblyman Evan Low (D-Campbell), which will punish physicians and surgeons for “unprofessional conduct” for advocating for the potential benefits of early treatment with off-label drugs, or those who dare to ask questions about COVID vaccine safety.

Assembly Bill 2098 puts unconstitutional restrictions on free speech by medical professionals. Under AB 2098, doctors will be subject to disciplinary actions by the Medical Board of California and the Osteopathic Medical Board of California if they do not adhere to the “approved COVID treatment consensus.”

Punishment for “unprofessional conduct” ranges from 5-year probation to revocation of the ideologically noncompliant doctor’s medical license.

The bill is aimed at physicians who acknowledged the 1% mortality rate, questioned mandatory masks, school closures, and challenged the claim that the vaccine would shield patients from getting or spreading Covid. It is also aimed at physicians who chose to prescribe therapeutic treatments during COVID.

Although he still exploits the supposed emergency as a pretext to waste hundreds of $billions on student loan bailouts, Biden has said that the pandemic is over. But we won’t have long to wait for the next one. Any virus will do, with sufficient hype from the media.

Prior to taking power, Joe Biden explicitly promised to “end fossil fuels.” The entire economy is to run on wind and solar energy. It is all a lie. Wind and solar are not viable replacements. Virtually all of our energy continues to come from fossil fuels, despite all the hype and subsidies. Without oil, gas, and coal, we would experience absolute economic collapse, and most of us would die of starvation.
