The great divide is between those who are gullible enough to buy into the liberal narrative and those who are not. This is good news for conservatives, because the propaganda coming out of Democrats these days is heavy-handed enough to make all but the dimmest burst into guffaws:

Progress Action Fund (actual motto: “When Republicans go low, we go lower”) is wasting its money. Anyone dim enough to be convinced by this ad that the USA has no right to defend itself from foreign invasion is already voting Democrat.

The libs at Newsweak report that pro-Democrat PAF “was founded by former Obama administration staffers.” Surprised?

White House Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson is not impressed with the ad:

“This is clearly just a sad attempt to distract from the violent Democrat rioters in LA who want to keep criminal illegal aliens in American communities.”

However, it may serve to inspire true believer moonbats to throw more rocks at law enforcement.

Transgender freakazoids perch at the apex of the cultural Marxist pyramid of artificial oppression — ranking high above women, as confirmed by left-wing support for cross-dressing men in women’s sports. They are the most favored of favored groups.

$1 Billion NYC Deal to House Moochers in Hotels

Riding around on a bicycle ratting out delivery drivers who leave their engine running can provide a nice living in moonbat-ruled New York City, but the big money is elsewhere:

The Adams administration has inked a nearly $1 billion contract with the hotel industry for emergency shelter space…

Taxpayers are on the hook for the $929.1 million reupped with the Hotel Association of New York City Foundation as the total city population still includes a whopping 86,000 people, including homeless individuals and asylum seekers.

“Asylum seekers” are better known as “illegal immigrants” or more accurately, “foreign invaders.”

Meanwhile, as hordes of moochers luxuriate in hotels at public expense, tourists avoid New York not only because liberalism has reduced it to a cesspool but because hotel rooms are prohibitively expensive due to scarcity.

Fortunately, NYC doesn’t need money from tourists. It can seize as much as it wants from the taxpayers who have not yet fled.

Or maybe it will manage to bleed taxpayers dry:

The overall cost to house migrants per night is $352 — including $130 to hotels for the room rental, city officials said last year.

Too bad NYC can’t print money to finance open borders like the Biden Regime was doing.

Civilization Continues to Crumble in Portland

The cancer continues to metastasize from California up the Left Coast. Following the riots against the enforcement of immigration law in Los Angeles, here’s what it looks like outside an ICE facility in the liberal stronghold Portland:

Antifa moonbats have been egged on to engage in direct action:

In Portland, that “direct action” has resulted in besieging the ICE facility located on the south side by the Willamette River. …

The entire public entrance for the ICE location is now boarded up to prevent further damage. Graffiti calling for the death of federal agents and President Donald Trump covers the walls.

The most basic duties of the government are not to redistribute wealth but to defend the border and to utilize a monopoly on force to maintain public order.

On Thursday, Antifa activists gathered at Elizabeth Caruthers Park before marching a few blocks to their target. The crowd gathered on the driveway, blocking federal vehicles from entering or leaving. The Federal Protective Service announced multiple times that if the crowd did not move, they would be subject to arrest and crowd control munitions. The rioters booed and jeered at each announcement.

Portland police officers on bicycles and squad cars passed by the scene a few times but did not intervene.

Finally tear gas, flash-bangs, and pepper balls sent the Antifa goons scuttling back to their crevices. But they’ll be back.

If leftist violence continues to escalate, those tasked with defending civilization will eventually have to get serious. As Hillaire Belloc might put it, we have got the Maxim gun and they do not.
