Rap Taught in Public Schools
If Democrat-dominated public schools no longer teach children to read, write, and do math, it could be that educators have different goals.
The New York Post reports from California:
The Merced City School District in the Central Valley — one of the state’s lower-performing school districts based on test performances — has signed a $270,000 agreement with Fresno-based School Yard Rap, which describes its approach to learning as “edutainment.”
School Yard Rap founder Brandon Brown boasts that his edutainment “helps eradicate a lot of hate and ignorance in the country.” It does this with lyrics instructing kids that “History books have a white male skew.”
The contracts include a summer “Rap Camp” and an “African American Affinity Group,” which is only for 100 African American students, raising questions about whether the program complies with federal law. …
“It is illegal for the government to offer benefits solely on the basis of race,” Harmeet Dhillon, assistant attorney general of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, said.
Never mind what’s illegal. The important thing is to affirm and promote the preferred culture. Refraining from teaching the three R’s will help achieve this objective.

Euthanasia Kills People at Twice the Rate of Dogs in Canada
It would not be accurate to say that useless eaters are put down like dogs under Canada’s euthanasia policy. They are put down much faster than dogs.

The thin edge of the wedge was terminally ill adults. Soon Medical Assistance in Dying was expanded to nonterminal illnesses. Already MAID is the fifth leading cause of death in Canada. Death by chemical drowning may be offered as therapy for such ills as poverty, mental illness, and needing a wheelchair lift.
At least Canada has discovered something besides wealth appropriation that Big Government can do efficiently. Many victims receive MAID within a day of requesting it — or of being pressured into requesting it.
A disturbing case involved an elderly woman, “Mrs. B,” who initially requested MAID but withdrew consent for religious reasons. Despite this, and amid concerns of coercion due to her husband’s “caregiver burnout,” she was reassessed and euthanized hours later by a third practitioner. In short, her life was terminated against her own wishes — and to satisfy her husband’s convenience — which amounts to what used to be called “homicide.”
“Homicide” is too judgmental. Soon it will be deleted from the Newspeak Dictionary.
MAID may play a role in the demographic transformation that features prominently on the liberal agenda:

Mamdani’s “Affordability” Drives Up Rent
The buzzword of the Zohran Mamdani campaign was “affordability.” This was to be implemented through “the warmth of collectivism.” Now New Yorkers get to see what “affordability” actually means under leftist rule.

Manhattan’s median rent has soared to an all-time high of $5,000 a month as socialist NYC City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is looking to “freeze the rent” in the Big Apple, one of his campaign promises that has analysts worried will only make matters worse.
Rent has risen 6% just since last year. It will get worse.
High costs are caused by insufficient supply. Freezing rent chokes off the supply, thus causing nonfrozen rents to shoot upward. Where rent is frozen, landlords cannot afford to renovate or even maintain properties, further diminishing supply, while lowering the quality of what little housing is available.
The economics is not complicated. But idiot greed renders Democrats’ something for nothing voter base incapable of grasping it.

Stripped of Parental Rights for Objecting to Son’s Sex Change
Moonbats believe that rights are bestowed not by God but by Big Government. What government gives, government can take away. For example, those regarded as obstacles to the LGBT agenda may be stripped of their rights as parents.

Is it really fixing what is underlying — the mental challenge or difficulty, whatever they’re going through?”
Leftists are not interested in alleviating mental challenges, but in exploiting them so as to sacrifice vulnerable children to their sick ideology. The mother has obstructed Rocha’s visitation rights on the grounds that he won’t pretend the boy is a girl or use his new female name.
He noted that children on the autism spectrum often struggle with feeling “right in their skin” or “wanting to be something else,” adding that his child sometimes prefers to be a cat — wearing a tail or cat ears.
It would be no less horrific and obscene if medical professionals reacted to this by attempting to transmogrify the kid into a parody of a cat, like a nightmarish inversion of The Island of Doctor Moreau.

Secret Service Agent Who Almost Got Trump Killed Suspended Once Again
That they have not managed to kill Trump yet is a testament to the incompetence of moonbats, considering what DEI has done to the Secret Service.

On the positive side, Perez has helped the Secret Service pursue its top priority of advancing DEI — all the more so because her “marriage” is to another woman.

Trump Restores Columbus Statue
Christopher Columbus was a titan of history who has been revered for centuries for bringing civilization to the Western hemisphere, which had remained bogged down in Stone Age savagery that featured industrial scale human sacrifice. For this, moonbats hate him. Black Lives Matter rioters tore down his statues. But now one has been re-created.

A new statue of Christopher Columbus went up on the White House grounds Sunday that was built using pieces from a monument to the Italian explorer that protesters destroyed six years ago.
The 13-foot, one-ton replica of a Columbus statue toppled in Baltimore in 2020 – then dumped into the city’s inner harbor – was commissioned by the Conference of Presidents of Major Italian American Organizations and is part of the White House’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
Columbus should be acknowledged as a hero not only by his fellow Italians but by everyone who has benefited from the existence of America. Yet the Democrats running Baltimore refused to display the reborn statue, so it now stands outside the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
Trump signed a proclamation last year hailing Columbus as an American hero.
If there is anyone liberals hate even more than Columbus, it is Trump. He can take pride.
