Canadian Court Robs Hair Salon on Behalf of Nonbinary Crybully

No wonder so many strive to be acknowledged as marginalized. The privileges this cherished status entails can be remunerative.

CTV News reports on what happened to a Montreal hair salon called Station 10:

Alexe Frédéric Migneault identifies as non-binary and was asked to select a male or female haircut on the salon’s site in 2023.

Not being able to select a nonbinary option when he booked his appointment oppressed Migneault. As a victim, he is entitled to other people’s money, according to the system of sheer moonbattery currently prevailing in Canada.

“I was already spiraling into a huge mental health crisis, and it precipitated my, falling to complete a disability,” they [i.e., Mr. Migneault] said. “I was unable to work for a year and a half.”

They [sic] filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission, which recommended a $500 settlement.

Station 10 sensibly refused to pay, so Migneault sued it for $12,000. A court ordered it to pay him $500 — even though the salon’s website had already added an absurd gender-neutral booking option to keep greedy crybullies off its back.

No doubt Migneault is still sniffling over the oppression he endured and congratulating himself for boldly confronting it.

If you are short on money, you might try identifying as a pelican and then suing hair salons for not letting you book your appointment accordingly.

EVs are not cleaner. Solar is not great for the environment either. Cheaper? Who knew enviromoonbats had a sense of humor?

Sullivan Clarke, 13, said he was visiting for the races when a man he didn’t know walked up and cut his throat while he was walking with his parents.

Sullivan said he only survived because he happened to look up at a boardwalk ride at the exact moment of the attack, which shifted his neck just enough to avoid a fatal wound.

Family Grieves for Man Killed by MAID

You can’t cook a social utopia omelette without breaking a few eggs. One broken egg was named Kiano Vafaeian. Evidently due to depression, he got himself killed under Canada’s MAID. His family is not happy:

The New York Post reports:

His mother, Margaret Marsilla of Ontario, said his depression was often seasonal, yet he became “obsessed” with MAID after losing vision in one eye in 2022.

Vafaeian suffered from diabetes, which in addition to Canadian winters gave him something to be depressed about.

The family said Vafaeian was rejected by multiple doctors in Ontario before he sought out Dr. Ellen Wiebe, a prominent MAID provider, in British Columbia. Marsilla believes Wiebe “coached” her son on what to say to meet the criteria for “Track 2” patients — those whose natural deaths are not reasonably imminent.

We have met Ellen Wiebe before. The former abortion provider has been deliberately killing patients by the hundreds.

Vafaeian’s family had tried to save him, but…

Vafaeian’s parents say they were not notified of the approval and only learned of his death days after it occurred. They noted his medical records did not substantiate the “severe peripheral neuropathy” listed on his death certificate as a qualifying factor.

Meanwhile, across the border,

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed an assisted suicide bill into law on Monday, making New York the 13th state, plus the District of Columbia, to legalize allowing physicians to aid terminally ill adults in dying by suicide.

“First, do no harm” is a remnant of unenlightened times. How else will we make the numbers add up under socialized medicine if we don’t kill sick people?

Oregon May Ban Hunting and Fishing

Enjoy hunting, fishing, and eating meat while you can. None of these things is to be permitted as progressives progress toward utopia. Moonbattery-addled Oregon shows the way.

Animal rights advocates are close to having enough signatures to qualify a ballot measure in Oregon that would dramatically change how animals are treated under state law, including banning most hunting, fishing, livestock farming and animal research.

The proposed measure Initiative Petition 28, would remove many long-standing exemptions in Oregon’s animal cruelty laws. Under the initiative, most activities that hurt or kill animals would become criminal offenses.

No doubt many who self-righteously signed the petition would abort their own children without batting an eye. Too bad babies can’t self-identify as animals.

[Chief petitioner David] Michelson compared the initiative to the women’s suffrage movement.

It had to be either that or the fight to end Jim Crow. Self-parody is second nature to liberals.

The tyrannical proposal has a suitably moonbatty name: the PEACE Act (People for the Elimination of Animal Cruelty Exemptions).

Opponents, including the Oregon Hunters Association, say it would force Oregonians onto a vegan diet or force people [to] have their meat products shipped in from other states. They say it would destroy entire industries, including agriculture, fishing, hunting, scientific research, food production, pest control and restaurants.

In short, it would help render Oregon unlivable for anyone but moonbats — which will soon be the case anywhere they consolidate power.
